Please don't put that out into the universe, I would not be able to cope with that. The day it the Leo nuts left Bar Refaeli's thread for good, was the day I was able to enjoy her wok again

These people are deadass discussing if she has PPD because she has not bounced back after having a kid and she's not working as much. What do you all think of having a rule, in order for a model to be in the Fashion Modes forum they must be signed with a modeling agency (not a talent agency)? There seems to be a lot of models in the that forum that are influencers, pageant girls, IG Models, or self-proclaimed "models", etc. who aren't signed with any agencies.

I agree with that, there's a lot of threads where it's just instagram/tiktok content and nothing else, at this rate I could open a thread for myself and say I identify as a model  

To clarify, do we allow c ontent from OnlyFans to be posted here? I am thinking no since it is behind a paywall but wanted to check. Thank you

So Colleen Cole's thread has been removed, but prior to the removal I'd been talking to a photographer who's worked with her, as well as her manger, kinda going back and forth about a few things.  The Photographer sent me this, which has been removed, but maybe it's something to consider

Back in 2014-2016, which was the peak of Instagram, models shot nude and posted the photos on their social media KNOWING the risk that their account might get deleted. They didn't care. There was no algorithm like there is now so those posts used to bring in a lot of followers.

 

Fast forward to now and it's a very rare occurrence. Even the models that did a couple of topless or implied shoots a couple of years ago won't shoot like that anymore. There are a lot of reasons. Parents are now Instagram savvy. They use google etc. Modeling agencies got toucher on the models, and the list goes.

 

The main variables that have caused this are forums and leaks. The models are traumatized.

 

A LOT of models are reading your conversations on forums. Even more than I had imagined. They know what photos you post of them, they've read your commentary on their looks, their careers, and everything in-between.

 

I did 3 shoots this past week and all 3 models said they won't shoot like that anymore because of forums and the million websites that repost the images.

 

Not only that, they also get harassed by horny dudes from bum-fuck-nowhere who don't know how to talk to girls. So all of a sudden they get a bunch of DMs with a photo from a photo shoot they did years ago saying "WHERE DO I SEE MORE OF YOUR BOOBS!?"

 

There's a model I shot with earlier this year, and she was about to become a massive hit because of her looks, BUT because of the amount of forums that posted her photos and the messages she got, she's now working 3 normal jobs instead of modeling. It's nuts.

 

How are none of these forums behind a sign up wall, or somehow private?

 

What's crazy is that people want more content from these models, and they join forums and talk about it, and it DIRECTLY impacts their chances of seeing new content because of their participation.

 

It's not looking good for the future of the internet folks. The whole content from models space Is definitely going to get replaced by ai.

 

Also, the models are starting to get mad at me for posting stuff because it leaks from here to all those forums and websites. So while it's somewhat beneficial that others get to see what's being posted here, the models are seeing it too, and they're asking me to not post too many images.

 

The forums need to go private. The people who want to leak content and share with each other are borrowing against the future. Figure out another system that is not so accessible. You're not realizing how much damage this is creating.

 

None of what I'm saying is coming from a personal gripe or concern for myself. It's coming from a place concern that something we all like is getting ruined by a few who don't understand moderation and doing things tactfully.

I mean I get it, and it's part of the reason why I'm less active here and in all social media platforms to be honest, when I joined BZ I was like 14 and kind of a dickhead, posted a lot of dumb and hurtful stuff I now regret about these women, and quite frankly a lot of the comments I see now absolutely repulse me and if I saw someone talking like that about me or any of my friends I'd absolutely lose it. 

I'm all for freedom of speech and expressing your opinions as long as it is constructive and respectful, but people have gotten way too comfortable with the anonymity that the internet has given them, there's a sense of entitlement like models owe these people something when in reality for them modeling is just a job. So idk if I have a solution, but I certainly understand the models' pov.

I've just re-read this and it aligns 100% with what Irina Illichova said to me last week. So definitely something for us to keep in mind.

Also, TheDude2k approached me because he's interested in becoming a mode. Thoughts? I've never really interacted with him, but he seems so be online quite often, active and without a history of breaking rules or being a dick.

If I'm not mistaken there have been behavioral issues in the past with him, but nothing concrete I can think off of the top of my head.

As much as they irritate me, what are your thoughts on @ALPAT for a mod? They haven't approached me or anything, but they report a lot of cleanup work on a regular basis.

I have no issues with with. He's never gotten into trouble, he's always the first to report issues with posts.
