AHHHH ok
haha i totally read the emphasis on the wrong part. i need to be smacked over the head. seriously :|
ok that being said, you have admitted to me that you dont do very much around here anymore. so once again, i stand by my comment that you shouldnt assume what it feels like being a mod since you're not exactly pulling your weight anymore in mod tasks. it wasnt easy when me and Qball were doing most of the work, and it certainly wasnt easy for me when Qball was gone for about a month and i was basically doing most of the stuff on my own. so all i'm saying is that you (and other admins) shouldnt make assumptions about moderating. thats all ![]()

Ashley has been here a lot less than you have too. ![]()

leave it to ashley to say what i'm thinking but dont dare mention

yes however why am i being put on the spot here
have i ever denied doing something......there was a time when we used to post stuff that needed to be done in here and i used to pick up a lot of the slack....however now that we have all these mods that "actually do work" i have eased up yes
however if u want me to start over again because i am no longer pulling my weight i would be glad to
however there are many admin things that you can do too without them counting as mod tasks
just like take the simple example of you people editing people's sigs and such....i choose to use the panel for that so it doesnt get recorded as a mod task for me any more
and i especially know wat it feels like to be a mod since i was one before all of you were around....and since i was a hard working one i ended up being bumped to admin....also because i had some knowledge of IPB

Okay, so just for my reference, this is what we've more or less figured out, right?
Warnable Offenses
1. Hotlinking, nudity as thumbnails, nudity without a warning
2. Bashing other members
3. Offensive material
4. Ignoring the mods (i.e. doing something after they tell you not to, adding images back after they've been removed, deleting the edit messages, etc).
Other Things
1. Delete Model ID threads once the models have been IDed. (Do we want to attack the VS Model ID thread? Or just leave it?)
I know we had more, but I'm blanking.

Leave VS alone.

umm sounds about right
and i say just leave the VS model thread as is?
o and along with nudity ---- the playboy question

first of all, i think you're taking this way too seriously. my tone isnt intended to be a harsh one or anything like that, and i'm sorry if i came off that way because that was definitely NOT my intention.
that being said, you're being singled out only because of a comment you made to me the other day that was really inaccurate, but i actually addressed all admins because i feel there is this tendency to forget that moderators just have an overall different experience from admins. you're not supposed to have to really moderate as an admin even though you obviously have the power to do so. that's what moderators are here to do. and yes, i know that with good moderators, admins can definitely ease up on their moderation tasks. that is exactly what SHOULD happen. both mike and marduk have told me that they dont have to moderate anymore because we are doing a good job. so actually i dont really care much that you dont moderate. i'm not asking you to moderate more. or start from scratch or whatever you're suggesting. what i'm saying is that you shouldnt have just assumed that two moderators were "just fine" at a time when you werent doing much moderation and i was feeling overworked as a mod. you never asked if i was "fine." that is all this is about. nothing more, nothing less.
edit: obviously directed at taha.

That and I think Nicole brought up the title of the threads thing/how threads are made. Do we want to make a thing about that?

I offered to do that.

well then i'm sorry that i didnt ask you if things were ok at that point
I think a thread on how to properly start a thread for a model actress or what not is probably a good idea.
I'm thinking there should be a certain amount of time allowed for the original person asking for the mod id, to have seen his/her thread and become aware that their model has ben Ided, before we delete the threads of the properly Ided models. I don't know something like a few weeks, unless the person has posted a thank you for the id or something, implying that they are aware.
As for the playboy thing, there is a discernable difference between a clothed celebrity in the issue for what ever reason, and a nude centerfold model, and the name playboy should not necessarily mean that something cannot be posted from within it. The way it's being looked at now, if I found a picture of Mt Everest inside playboy, I couldn't post it anywhere on this forum, and that's stupid.

gonna have to agree with capt on playboy
thats two votes for that position
EVERYONE please vote?

hey you voted against playboy before! what did you think you were voting on? ![]()
It should be something along the lines of, anything containing nudity from inside a playboy magazine will not be tolerated, but there is no reason to censor a fully clothed picture of Jessica Alba, just because it appeared in Playboy.

That would have to be worded pretty well. The nudity doesn't bug me. Hell, Terry Richardson does worse and he's considered a fashion photographer. I suppose it could be that nudity outside of fashion (that would have to be worded better) was not allowed, examples being images from playboy, penthouse and other such magazines.
Agreed, it would have to be worded, so that it couldn't be misinterpreted. I nominate everybody but me to think of a way to write that out.
Any images containing nudity, from any magazine considered adult in nature should not be posted. Even if it happened to be a nude fashion oriented photo ala Terry Richardson, having no nudity posted from any adult publication should cover all of our bases. There will be no question as to posting pictures of other natures that happened to appear inside these magazines, as they would not contain nudity and therfore be exempt from the rule.
If I don't start feeling better soon, I'm going to kill myself. <_<

ummm i think he just wrote it ![]()
