Okay, I worked on a "post" for warnable offenses. Let me know what needs to be flushed out (I know the harrassment one does), and if you see any errors that need to be fixed.

Below is a list of warnable offenses. Depending upon the severity of your action, your warning may be anywhere from 10% on up to 20 or 30. However, we must warn you that in most cases, if you push enough buttons, you won't have to worry about getting to 100% as you will be banned long before that.

Warnable Offenses

1. Hotlinking

Also known as direct-linking, or leeching, hotlinking is when you take an image from a website (for instance, Victoria's Secret) and copy the url of their image, then post it on a forum such as BZ, using the image tags with their url, so it ends up looking like:

[img]vs url here[/img]

When you do this, you are stealing the bandwidth away from Victoria's Secret which then ups their server bill as they have to pay for their bandwith.

2. Posting Nudity

Posting of nudity as thumbnails, or as links without warnings will result in a warning. You don't get a first chance to make this mistake. In regards to Playboy, we ask that for the most part you do not post anything from this magazine as it is considered pornography (which the posting of is against the rules of this board) and the "models" in Playboy are not considered to be the type who should be making an appearence on this board. However, in regards to pictures from actual models/actresses (an example being Jessica Alba), as long as warnings are posted, clearly stating where the image came from and the content, you should be fine.

3. Harrassment/Flaming

The harrassment or flaming of members and mods is NOT allowed on this board, period. Harrassment or flaming could be calling people inappropriate names, instigating fights on purpose, "stalking" members about the board, getting into arguments that flood the board with inappropirate content, etc.

4. Offensive Material

The posting of offensive/inappropriate material will result in an immediate warning, and perhaps greater consequenses. Images of mutliation, the killing of people or animals, gore, porn, etc are not to be posted. With or without a warning.

5. Ignoring/Disobeying BZ Staff

If a mod or admin requests that you do (or do not do) something, please follow their request. For example, if a mod edits your signature, please do not remove their text and place the same image back in. This goes for general posts as well. Do not replace images after the staff removes them, do not edit out messages and thumbnail something again if we have requested that it be textlinked, etc.

The list above is more or less what we ask that people avoid. If you have any comments, questions, or suggestions, please contact a mod/admin or post a question to Site and Forum.

Do you guys think that the "Making Topics and Polls" and "Warnable Offenses" should be placed under "Announcements" so that all the members will be able to see it?

I just noticed that Hot Guys section has a section "Other Guys" but the Babes section doesn't. There are a few women in the General Babes section that could moved in this section if it were created. For example: Vanessa Minnillo and Keyra Agustina. Paris Hilton could also be moved there.

I'd say yes on both of those.

Put the making threads and polls as an announcement, as well as dumped it up into rules and conventions. Now we just have to flush out that parts of that warnable offense thing that can go up too.

I think she needs to be warned for getting an attitude with me over me doing my job on the forum. This isn't the first time she's copped an attitude about things like this. <_<

I say yes, she needs to be warned because this would be the second time she flipped out on a moderator for no reason except that a moderator was telling her to behave. The first time I didnt officially warn her but made myself perfectly clear in the thread itself. You all saw it. Why the fuck does she think she can still act this way? Warn her. I'm tired of her fucking shit.

flaming i think should be permanent. i certainly am not expecting anyone to remove my warnings anytime haha. but i think something like lets say...hotlinking...the person hotlinks, gets their warning, never does it again, i dont see a big deal with removing the warning.
