Thanks jimmy, I just added the ads to the default skin, we will see how it goes, I still would like to reorganize the top since not all people actualy reply around here. But i guess its a start with just one ad way down there.

That's true. I forget most of our traffic is visitors that do not participate in any way. Although, they still may use the page# navigation after reading to the bottom of the thread. Another forum I belong to uses ads ONLY for visitors, requiring signup to get rid of the ads, but they use a professional version of vBulletin.

I'm very interested in how the preliminary results look in the coming weeks. Actually, you should get a pretty good idea how this set up will work in a two week period.

Ill give you an update at the end of the month. And the no ads for members might be a good option to consider

OK, so I know we're supposed to be reasonably open about discussions on this board but I am really sick of moderating posts having to do with this GQ interview. I feel like there are just too many sketchy offensive remarks being made, stuff that's marginally related to the topic as a whole but overall just offensive or rude or whatever. So I was wondering if I could ask for the discussion of this topic to stop altogether. I don't think people are handling it maturely at all, and I think they've had more than enough days to discuss the topic and make complete asses of themselves. So I am putting in this request. Obviously I am not going to do it without staff approval, so please let me know what you think. Thanks.

oh yes and i'd like to add that one of the members edited her post (i.e. she removed it entirely) only after she'd completely shat on the catholic church and its believers.

At this point I think they're just running around in circles, arguing over the same things over and over again. Adriana is/is not a bitch, prostitute, virgin, slut, true catholic, etc etc. They'll keep kicking it around until everyone is pissed off and the mods are ready to yank their hair out from stress.

I'm sure they can find other things to talk about so I see no reason to have it keep going.
