Are you good at tennis? I get the impression you're good at table tennis, badminton and squash, pretty much everything in the tennis family...bar tennis

not being racist or anything but i'm good for a white guy at table tennis. i got whooped by some of the amazingly good Chinese guys yesterday . . . . i can deal with their top spin but not their backspin

i don't like tennis. it's boring. you don't have to think about where you're gonna hit it. i like squash 'cos it's more strategic and faster. table tennis especially last night was pretty strategic 'cos i had to keep evolving defences and stuff against their crazy-ass shots. i'm awful at badminton but it's a laugh . . .

squash is weird. I just can't imagine what happens on the professional level. It seems that if you have speed of thought, precision hitting and a good sense of where the other player is, then you can pretty much control the game...

once again I'm not too good at it...

And w00t! my parents came back from overseas and they brought me back some laptopness...

they don't even run in professional matches. they just stand in the middle and take two steps to the side. the whole game is played down the walls

good thanks. have just been looking at brains again. am glad that i've finished all of my lectures on worms now. every lecture was getting nastier and nastier :x . am tired but i dunno . . . only 3 more days of lectures to go :hell yea!:

my parents don't want me to get a laptop in case i go out and lose it and 'cos my dad broke his old one (but that's 'cos he is like a neanderthal when it comes to computers. kinda like a slightly worse version than me ) . . . . their argument doesn't really hold together but hey . . . .
