i was but i gave up

despite being a Spurs fan, i wouldn't pick Keane 'cos Mido is away

Henry, should prob put in a good performance and be a safe bet (Y)

Yakubu - dunno Middlesborough are too unpredictable for my liking

My analysis was similar.

Keane: Might flourish in Mido's abscence? Home game + Villa should mean goals galore. So chances are he might score.

Henry: Doesn't seem to be able to score much in away games. Arsenal lack firepower away from Highbury and we might see Everton come back and give Arsenal a tough game. If not, then Everton will be completely outplayed.

Yakubu: Scores freely. They tend to lose home games, but score a lot in the process. Middlesborough and Yakubu are hard to pick, but Wigan have not kept a clean sheet for the past 3 weeks at least and might be in danger of crashing to mid-table after their nightmare run during xmas.

so, I chose Keane. Hope for the best *crosses fingers*

Defoe and Keane both rely on Mido for service though wkithout Mido Spurs find it difficult to win the ball up front (esp in the air) and Defoe and Keane don't get through nearly as much as when Mido is playing . . .

That's true. He's quite the player for Spurs, and I selected him but now he's playing in the African Nation's Cup I thought Keane would play that role for Spurs or something?

Maybe I shouldn't have selected Keane this gameweek

but Mido is small and not so strong

you never know, he might just fire a couple in he's a bit unpredictable . . . i wish that Rasiak would pull his finger out though <_<
