Hey,
I am 5'10'' or ~178 cm and am fairly certain that doors are a good deal higher than me ![]()
Flavia is listed @5'11'' and she has epic height & legs..:

These models just can't all be between 5'9'' to 5'11''!!!
Toni seems to be a inch shorter than Karlie. And Taryn is just huge, lol ![]()

Ah, but only if they agree, Jennka, I always feel a little uncomfortable with posting private pictures ... that's why I'm not a fan of Paparazzi pictures. Even if you're a celebrity you should have the right to live a private life and have some say in when pictures of you are taken.
Of course
I don´t like paparazzi pictures as well... I call that hyenism.

I know
...
Aaaaw, he's the cutest! Is it your kitten, Joe? Can I have it?
I remember when my cat hat 5 of those little ones, all completely black with blue eyes, they were so adorable
But my Mum said we couldn't keep them so we had to gave them away. I'm still hoping they've got good places to live in (though they must be already gone to cat heaven, it's been aaaages ago), we made sure the people were all right, but one never knows, you know. A woman took two of the bunch, she sent us a letter with some pictures of them afterwards and told us that both cats were doing everything together, sleeping, eating, playing, ... I remember she said they were like on cat separated into two halfs. I can still remember that because we made her take two, she just couldn't resist. Her boyfriend rolling eyes at her, haha. So I found it a prettty nice coincidence that they acted like one cat for she really wanted to have just one.
I love cats. I've got a male cat now, he's not very clever, but veeeeeeeeery cuddly ![]()

I love cats too
they are amazing creatures, and very handy as well. I love how their personalities vary from cat to cat
you never find two cats that are totally alike - but we all know the general catty things ALL cats do, don´t we??
like Simons´ cat, I seriously love it ![]()

Its not mine, but I've had quite a few
. I also love how much their personalities vary
. Its really great to raise a cat and dog together and see them take up for each other while you get the best of both worlds
.

So true

Actually I raised my cat Jurgen with my dog. It was very funny in the beginning for you could see every detail of the misunderstanding between the two races, like with the wagging of the tail, the suggestion to play etc. But with time they understood how to handle each other. Since Jurgen was really small when I got him, he adapted quite a few things from Puschi, so he's more like a dog in many ways. I can tell him to sit or leave a room. He always comes, when I call him. He wags his tail even when he likes something and is relaxed. He's lying around all the time, never hiding anywhere. He cannot for the love of it catch a fly, he continously forgets he's able to bush his tail - then he seems to remember it all of a sudden after weeks and weeks and does it for like an hour without any reason at all. You know cats and boxes? Yes, he likes to sit on a box, but we just got a huge package with much of filling straw-like material and I put it on the ground for I though, hey, Jurgen will love it. But nope, he walked in and didn't notice it first. Then he saw it and started sniffing at the edges, then he tried to ate some of the straw - and that was it. He didn't got into the box, he didn't pull the straw out, nothing! ... I went to see friends of mine and took him with me. They have a huge garden and I thought he will love it. It took him a week to get out of the house and onto the lawn. There he would eat grass and go inside again. He didn't try to look around, he didn't try to catch an insect, he wasn't interested in birds, just grass and back in again ... He is so annoying ... :sigh:
Sadly Puschi and Jurgen really don't like each other much, the don't cuddle together or play, they only tolerate the other as far as they have to. They don't like being too close together, but they don't like it when they are separated either. They envy each other madly and are both very jealous when it comes to food or me, but they don't fight, they are just "bitchy" towards each other in the lack of a better word. You really should see them. They stalk around each other, Jurgen sometimes sits behinds a door, waiting for Puschi to come across to startle her with his sudden appearance, though Puschi is never startled for she of course knows where he is, monitoring him all the time more or less secretely. So Jurgen jumps out behind the door, Puschi just looks at him and walks on, I swear if she could raise one of her eyebrows, she looks exactly like O_o while Jurgen then pretends as if nothing happened of course. And that's just one small episode, haha.
And I just looooove Simon the Cat-Cartoons, so funny!

Loool Cam
I love such stories, it must be fun to have these two around. My mother has a dog (like, WE have a dog, but since I´m not living with her anymore it´s more her dog than mine, and is already 16 years old... erm, getting 17 the next april
) and my sister had a cat but she could not keep it because she is allergic, so my mother keeps her now. You should have seen them while they were getting used to each other... the cat, Miska, would try to catch him everytime (he is a small dog basterd) she could, often jumping at him from a top of a sofa, he got scared and she loved it... after two years she got bored by it and attacked mostly people in our flat (my mother, brother) - of course not hurting them, just jumping ![]()
The dog Edy was so jealous of her food that he actually ate cat granules, and she was like "wtf, I couldn´t care less" and then eating his
Now they´re mostly ignoring each other, sometimes (at very rare occasions) sleeping together, and when Miska jumped out of our balcony (5th floor) and wasn´t around for two weeks he (Edy) was actually looking for her... then she came back, for some days acted like the best cat out in this world and then everything settled in the old way.
Cats and dogs, hilarious ![]()

Simon´s cat - it makes me laugh no matter how shitty I feel ![]()

Great long stories ![]()
. On a different note, a couple word translation inquiries. The first one is, what does uchvien mean
? Another one is vielhelm which I think may mean hot dog but I'm not sure. I'm sure both are spelled wrong and probably missing something minus the accent punctuation things but I just heard them said and haven't seen them written before
.
Hey, my dearests ![]()
So sorry I neglected you for so long - I hope you had a great holiday season and wish everyone a happy new year ![]()
I hadn't felt well for some time then and had loads of pressure at work, so I just needed to quit everything to get myself functioning again. I took some time off and visited friends in the middle of nowhere with no telephone and internet and everything to clear my head and relax. I stayed until last week when I had to get back to work. I'm quite well and motivated again ![]()

Well, you probably mean "Unvieh" which is pronounced "Unviech" sometimes ... ("Anfeech" in English - though the "ch" in German sounds nothing like anything I could think of in an English word ... more like the pronounciation of the "J" in Spanish ...). "Unvieh" is slang for "Untier" which means beast or monster, but is more used in a joking manner not if you are "frightened" of the monster ... and "Vielhelm" is probably "Wilhelm", which is - or better was - a common name in Germany, it's "William" in English. I never heard the use of the name "Wilhelm" in relation to "Hot Dog", ... we say "Hot Dog" in Germany too ... ![]()

Glad to hear you are relaxed and feel better now
I need such thing myself... to leave for at least one whole week somewhere in the wild or to the cottage.
Seriously need to take a time off ![]()
Hello, Mel.
Just thought I'd pop by for a little hug... ![]()
It's a bit late now but I hope you had a lovely Christmas/Winter Holiday. ![]()
I know I had a lovely Christmas and New Years.
And thanks also for being such a lovely mod. ![]()

Congratulation for your thread Mel
U were one the first person I talked with on Laetitia thread. It was almost 4 years ago!!
I was so shy and... well, that's not true, I was never shy
I immediately liked you for your kindness and your intelligent posts
and I always liked the way you stand for Laetitia each time someone was saying something nasty about her. U are a fair & honest person and if one day we have the opportunity to meet (who knows?) u are going to have the luck to hear my perfect imitation of Karl L. In French natürlich. As u maybe know, he speaks a perfect French and Ich weiß nicht Deutsch sprechen it's all good for my perfect imitation.
Oh, my ![]()

I don't know if I really deserve the praise, but I'm feeling mighty good right now!! ![]()
I know it's kinda childish, but I really like being a moderator, I feel so responsible for the forum I already felt responsible for for almost ...seven
... years now ... though I kinda hate having to PM people about minor rule breaking and sorting out crazy issues I would never have thrown myself into (never ever), all the cleaning of the threads or getting some organisation into the Model Directory (have to get back there at work soon
) is something I really like to do ![]()
As for my winter holidays, Danni, had I ever had one? Haha ... Right after coming back to work it all had gone crazy again. But yes, I did very very much enjoy my twoo weeks off. I had a wonderful time at my friends' place. Though it was rather wet than anything else and the dog was a stinky muddy mess, I had the greatest times when doing lenghty walks in the forrest. Loooove the forrest.
Oh, I think I still got pics on my internal harddrive ... wait a sec ... haha! Got them!
So ... those are some impressions of what it's like there ...
... all kinds of funny things to see there ![]()
... this is the view from out of the window of the house I live in when I'm there ...
You see, I really really love the place
One time I'm going to move there, I'm sure.
... and as I told you already about Puschi and Jurgen - those are the two ... lying in MY bed, haha.
At first they still feel uncomfortable in each others present, but when it got later ... ![]()
Kiki, if I ever travel to France, and I'm sure I will, your on the top of my list of people to meet ... although, ... Lae's at the top of course ...
BUT right after comes Ms Christine, the fun we'll have!!
I will have to polish up my French until then it got a bit rusty over the years, see if my teachers were able to get anything into that thick head of mine, haha. I always loved the language but I quickly lost interest in learning grammar so I kinda lost track and got rid of it after three years for I didn't had the nerve to do another three years ... shame on me, I never appreciated the free learning of languages at school, now I would have to spend a fortune on a language course ... stupid kids who don't see the opportunity but only the homework which leads to a loss of free time which was a big fat no-go from my point of view ... ![]()
Hey, as we're talking KL - I would love to see your imitation!! - I recently came across this and find it major hilarious ![]()
