Ooh, cookies

There's something about her face that doesn't quite sit well. Maybe she'll grow on me <_<

I was a bit confused with how they left it though. Do you think they changed the ending, having known that the show was cancelled, or that was the way that Season 2 was always going to end? I'm inclined to think they changed it, given they kinda went mental killing off major characters willy-nilly, and I'm not really sure how they could have come back from the 'blissing humans' aspect (tin foil hats?). It just seemed to resign to an ending of 'Yeah, they win. Sucks to be you!'. But then if that's the case, why bother introducing that 'Men in Black' underground agency at the end there?

Did you ever see the original 80s series?

^Yes, I did (not at the time though!) and really enjoyed it. It was what prompted me to bother with the remake. Not sure about the ending, as that lead 'Man in Black' was - of course - the hero of the original series and so I presumed it was leading to something? Running around in tin foil hats is a sure-fire ratings winner for me anyway!

^Actually I think she has a glint in her eye that sets her apart from most. Personally I find the SI equation for beauty rather bland and 'samey'. That's not to say the girls aren't attractive - it's just kind of obvious, and the photography is anonymous... Xenia has something more that's made me notice her, there's a hint of mischief in there. 1062-wine.gif

Yes, Barron.... Cookies are on the "Xenia Side"

On another note, heard some exciting news about Nicole. The other Nicole, that is.

While you won’t get a proper glimpse of this emerging beauty in our new campaign until it is unveiled in late May, you may catch her walking the runway at Perth Fashion Week, which kicks-off from Thursday, before she JETS off into international waters. First stop – London, and then New York!

Nicole is definitely the new face to watch – she has recently been signed to IMG Models, agent to the original JETS girl – Miranda Kerr.

With talks of her being the next Australian to grace the Victoria’s Secret runway, we can’t wait to watch her set her feet firmly on the global fashion map. Watch this space!

Oh I see - so was the original more focused on that rather than the Fifth Column resistance, or it had both?

I might see if I can track it down, out of interest. I know Robert Englund is in it too freddy_krueger.gif (Y)

She looks really pretty in that video!

I think that's the first time I've seen her smile.. she kinda looks like Natalie Portman when she does

She looks different in a lot of her photos <_<

^Great emoticon! (Y)

Yeah, the main character was a journalist who'd seen the V's for what they really were but, of course, nobody would believe him. THE FOOLS! He did later meet up with a resistance movement - but I don't think they were called the Fifth Column... Englund played a similar character to 'Ryan Nichols', in that he was a Visitor, but was a human sympathiser and worked against them.

I blame photoshop/air brushing.

Agreed (Y)

It would be amazing if she ever did walk the VSFS. I don't see why not. Considering the hype she is getting.

Aymeline and Renata undoubtedly the most, out of those. And both criminally underrated around here

I finally got to googling all your models and I have to say that the only reason why I didn't recognize them is because they're all darker brunette.. The only black haired woman I have on my list is hilary rhoda, lol.

Aymeline is a very good model, and with a very aggressive looking face :-)

Don't forget Isabeli is on your team too

I would have said only 4 or 5 on my list were particularly dark though. The others are mid-light - and there's a few of those on your list too <_<

I don't think Aymeline has got a naturally aggressive face, but she turns it on a bit in shows and shoots.

Her accent makes me melt

That's Carola, right? She will be huuuge! Though she's not among my favorites, she caught my eyes of course, those eyes and cheekbones are to die for. Love her look at the Omnia campaign. Don't know why they casted the other girls (sorry, Taryn-dearest ), she could've pulled the campaign easily by herself ...

Ah no, have no fear - fate is always pretty much ignoring my humble opinion on matters. That's because I'm a modest girl and don't annoy her too much with my wishful thinking

Indeed

Somehow I don't think her beauty is quite 'conventional' enough for her to be the next BZ It Girl, although who can tell why half the things around here happen the way they do :|

Fingers crossed for her in the VSFS this year though

Carola I´m so glad, her VS pics look so good

I too agree that she is not conventional enough for BZ - her beauty is quite remarkable but also very strange. Ok, BZ guys are capable of anything but..

let´s hope

btw VS seems to hire really quite a stunners recently

Josephine Skriver - check

Shanina Shaik - check

Bregje Heinen - check

Carola Remer - check

Barbara Palvin - oh hell check

have I forgotten anyone?

^Some choice casting indeed (Y)

I've taken quite a shine to Lais Ribeiro recently too, although I guess she's been around a little while now.

I'm so glad Nora is back . I was afraid she was going to become like one of those women from the 90s that won all those awards and were said to have all that potential and just disappeared into obscurity afterwards .
