The girl that designed the PINK stuff looks like a 20-something hipster, LOL.
With terrible hair... ![]()

The new technique for cutting edge hipsters is to chop off their hair in their bathrooms with a pair of garden sissors. .... while blindfolded, did you know that?

I didn't (but wanted to) until you posted this. But I have now, since the exposition is only 30 minutes long on youtube and very enjoyable. The other hour is mostly filler, but it has a lot of gems embedded inside (like the insane woman talking to herself in a department store, longing for a lost life and surrounded by high fashion mannequins with different personalities. Or the 'Far Right Wing bookstore' with sections like 'Self-optimization, Parasitism', 'Empiricism'....Then there is one where a muttering man scribbles furiously on a notepad while sitting in a diner: 'There is no grey. Only black and White..') .

Like Infinite, the best is in the beginning and finally they attempt to flesh out Rapture as it was with as much attention to detail as they can afford. So there's the late 1950s zeitgeist: American Century, World Fair, Art Deco, and far right politics of Ayn Rand. The clothes worn by everyone is fashionable and straight from hollywood. The dialogue is solid like infinite, but lacks the brilliance of the original bioshock. (a bit of rehash of themes here).
All the NPC's look like businessmen and businesswomen, and unlike Colombia it is socially progressive with gays and minorities with whites. Rapture is more empty than I would have liked, but what was there was quite solid. I liked the architecture of the whole place; It was carefully designed and aesthetically pleasing. It's just quite pretty to look at, although the city itself reminds me of an upper scale shopping mall with stores ripped out of famous streets in new york, london, and paris. It also feels like the inside of a great cruise ship, but with the people being those that are in the aquarium. It was great having Sander Cohen back, and Booker remarks that he is 'half-way to splicer' which is revealing.
Fontaine Futuristics is basically a model of the ideal 1950s-1960s department store before the assault of the mass market and SEARs catalogs int he 1960s. Parts of it frankly remind me of areas in Disneyland and Epcot center.
Of course the question I have is: Who the hell in the real world would want to live here? There are NPCs sitting on park benches while staring at the bottom of the sea: Beautiful the whales are, yes, but unlike a sunset they are buried at sea! There is a restaurant with aquarium windows. It's quite cool to imagine but I can imagine the view being stifling, like a prison after a week.
I enjoyed it immensely with the main negative being that I wished that they would have made a full story about this rather than a 2- part miniseries. The exposition deserves to be expanded to 3 hours...I felt that the developers were under constraints but did strong work on the art and the environments. Do you know when part 2 will come out?
Also, why are the slicers wearing masks? And what are they supposed to mean?
Have you had a look at any of the Burial at Sea DLC for Bioshock Infinite?
I took screenshots as I watched, and here are a few that stood out:
'In this piece, Cohen struggles to depict the struggle of the great man...condemned to breathe the swampy air of the parasite....' (LOL!) ![]()

I think Lais had better outfits in the past and unfortunately her gorgeous torso was covered up. Sui He was beautiful as usual, (but boring in m view) and Cara, surprisingly, didn't do Pink.
So now that I've collected more VS pictures, Toni Garrn and Lily D. may have received the finest outfit, although neither are my favorite of the fav models. Here is some proof. :
In addition to others, I liked Martha Hunt the newcomer too (with her Magdalena-like wide-set face):
Elsa Hosk...She was rail thin but sleek. Her body looked very tight and hot. People on BZ have commented on how they liked her 'outfit', which is quite odd since it was simply a sports bra and panties..Her face looked so perfect this night (like every other night).
Magda's outfit, HQ. with the huge tail. :
Maryna Backstage, being the super sexy lingerie model she is.
For all the negative gossip of Erin's 'de-angeling', I still think that this was the best look she has ever done:
And Barbara wins the trophy for the best backstage photo:
^Toni seems to have morphed into Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in this show - so for that she wins! Lais looked wonderful, Sui He too, and I was pleasantly surprised by Cara... The best outfit, I tend to agree with you, was Erin's Paris segment number. My favourites, Behati and Magda, looked a bit iffy make-up wise, and Elsa got fucked again but still pulls it off with her fabulous body. Opinions tend to change come the show itself mind you.

^Because that's really what people want - models in lingerie, not models in Hallowe'en costumes. The pre-Janet Jackson "nipple-gate" shows were really just that, with minimal embellishment...

^
I got to say that Elsa's look was probably the simplest VS runway look I've ever seen. Essentially Degen the comedic genius got her to wear a girl's hoodie with a plastic disk over her sports bra and panties...hah. Elsa was probably the best one in the afterparty.

Candids of Martha hunt. <3:

This is Nadine Leopold for VS. She's very beautiful and her small portfolio indicates that she's a beginning model:
She looks like a blend of Marloes and Erin Heatherton....From some angles she looks more like the former, and others, the latter..

^You've got to be pretty damn cool to "get" hipster humour. Most plebs just aren't in enough to understand... Kudos to you!
My top models of the week (not in any order):
Devon Windsor
^I've not really explored Devon's oeuvre yet, but I saw this wonderful shot on VSPressRoom site:

I don't know what it's from, but she looks like she's walked straight out of a Roger Vadim movie... ![]()
That face is like a mix of Lili Simmons and Bar Paly.

^You know I just discovered Lili Simmons this very week via a repeat of Banshee. She's piqued my curiosity no end! ![]()

You've heard of Lyon the social lion
Baron and the Necronomicaon emoticon
You don't need to be some lexicon
Because everyone knows its Cult Icon (insert burt sax sound)

That's the theme song from your spin off show. However, the song was inexplicably shortened after the first episode and your funnier wife was temporarily replaced with a younger, more attractive version in an attempt to win over a certain advertising demographic. After mail and protests, the funny wife was brought back.

Thank you sweetie
I did a full career view for her and Hailey. I just, like the other 30 model galleries., didn't upload. So yea, I like Hailey enough. She's a bit of a prodigy of sorts since she started modeling at age 13. She was 14 years old and looking old enough to be 18+. Her body is 10/10 and her face (oddly shaped lips) just works in modeling. Unfortunately, I think she lacks range although she's done some quirky editorials. But she's only 18...In any event, she looks like a potential star to me.
Who have you been liking as of late?
Another one I've never heard of...that pic of her is stunning though in your avi, she looks like an ethereal angel
Looking at some of her pics through google is good, some of them her look comes off a little to strong for my liking, others I am all for it
what do you think about Hailey Clauson?
Late response here, but I agree that she lacks some range, though I think its the quirky look shes going for. I think shes trying to create a certain vibe and stigma around her, like a Cara vibe. But most of her work I am quite happy with!
And well I've always liked Bridget, but her getting more work has revamped my love for her. I think she is just adorable ![]()
Also SARA SAMPAIO! I mean I have been a fan for a while, and I always liked her pics...but when I saw her for the VS Pre show I fell in love. I had never heard her talk before really, and she was just cute as a button, and you could tell that she was just so excited and humble and was just so natural. Totally brought her up a notch for me ![]()
