Thanks a lot for Daniella S's pics.  It saves me a lot of effort to find them.  May I use these in the junkyard? I'll credit  you, of course.

About Burial..maybe that'll happen.  I have largely assumed that they will be operated with a limited budget and development time, so certain luxuries and ideas would be cut short.  In Burial, they reused a lot of art assets from 'Infinite'.  I have no idea how they would change Elizabeth's interface if they actually do away with firearms.

So what do you think Hoffmann's death?  He doesn't look like a heroin or crack addict.  Cocaine was more likely...:-p

You know, something odd happened to me.  I've been enjoying a Constance full career review since this year started and I am up to 2012.  And I see these pictures today (placed together on a single page), and my heartbeat races for minutes.  It's too much beauty..  Constance's perfect skin, figure, eyes, legs, hair, etc..it's too much to process at one shot...!

This type of physical reaction to such beauty via just pictures alone  (real life, it happens much easier............) didn't happen for me since 2012 and it was seeing Karlie modeling John Paul Gaultier on the runway.  The bottom portion of the see-through outfit doesn't even look that good and the party dress is just a good dress, and not something that special so the reaction was unexpected.

Has this happened to you or anybody else recently ??

Of course

I have faith they will do something different with it. I don't want to play an Elizabeth that feels like I'm in Booker's shoes with a different voice - I don't think anybody does. They have limited resources (there were noticeably few faces repeated throughout the crowd in Ep 1), sure.. but who knows these days. They plan DLC from the start. They could have been developing something in tandem

I was really saddened by Hoffman's death when I heard this morning.. he was one of my favourites. The reports are saying heroin, which was surprising.

Are you much of a fan of PTA's earlier work by the way? Magnolia is still my favourite of his.

I never was a huge fan of PTA, but I did always like Philip Seymour Hoffman, even in movies that I otherwise did not much care for.

His earlier struggles with drug addiction were well chronicled, but I too was surprised to hear he had apparently fallen off the wagon after a long period of sobriety. A shame.

I knew of Hoffmann based on his community activities years ago.  He was hard working and did that at the same time.  It's too bad.  I read a WSJ article this morning and scuttlebutt the reporters dug up was that Hoffmann lived a solitary lifestyle- little partying...and was often seen in West village taking care of his three kids and bringing them out and about.  He was frequently seen at a local restaurant studying 1 or 2 days a week and was reasonably friendly.

His neighbors were to have said that he appeared prematurely aged and depressed before his death.

=============

I haven't seen Magnolia yet and I was planning on watching it this week.   I think it's also one of Baron's favorites.  As for the other PTA, I haven't seen the others.  I do, however, love 'There will Be Blood'.  It has this allegorical richness that rings deeply towards me, and with personal significance. I watched the film on 12/26/2007 (opening day) and I sat there until the credited ended, with tears in my eyes.  It's the only movie that has done that ever since!  Some of my favorite scenes:

So what you guys think of TWBB?

Thanks again.. (Y)  Yea, they could have.  It would more interesting then.  A stealth mode with Elizabeth running around, avoiding the police??  I'll miss the splicers............

I completed my Constance full career review.  It has 1,300 pictures, making it the largest one I've ever done.  I'll post your gallery and hers in the Junkyard soon.  So Constance was enormously successful & productive during 2010-2012 but seems to have slowed down dramatically.  This happens to so many top models.  Their time in the sun is brief...often just 2-4 years.

I thought Elsa was awesome until she started to work full time for VS (you know why, etc.).    So the 'knock-out',...does that happen to you often?

So what were your favorite Hoffman roles?  I saw him in some, but not all of his works.  Most notably, I didn't see Capote or Synchenote (spelling), New York.  I had both films but didn't watch it because I wasn't in the mood of seeing something depressing.

Probably not entirely accurate but this is what I remember:

1. The Master  (by far...) and the documentary about Shakespeare and Richard III.

2. Along Came Polly

3. The Talented Mr. Ripley

4. Red Dragon

5. Scent of a Woman

6. 'The Big Lebowski'

I saw it at the cinema when it came out, but not since. I remember liking it a lot, but I don't really recall a whole lot of it - I should watch it again. I can't speak highly enough of Magnolia (please don't skim through it - strap yourself in for the 3 hours ). Boogie Nights is a great movie too, and Punch Drunk Love is another oft-forgotten gem. I've seen Hard Eight, but that was a long time ago too and don't really remember much of it.. I think it was quite cool though <_<

She's still awesome - just less interesting

Her non-VS stuff is still best of course, but hey I can't complain about a steady stream of lingerie/swimwear pics

The 'knock-out' effect doesn't happen that often. That's what makes it special!

My favourite roles of his are:

- Magnolia

- State and Main (love this movie a lot - so underrated)

- Almost Famous (small role, but memorable)

- Happiness

- Doubt

Other movies I've seen and remember he was great in them, but it's been too long to specifically recall:

- Capote

- 25th Hour

Then a bunch of other small-role stuff like Boogie Nights, Punch Drunk Love, Big Lebowski, etc

I never saw The Talented Mr. Ripley - do you recommend it?

In fact I haven't seen any of your list apart from Lebowski!

Ripley is a terrific book, but I did not much care for the adaptation, mostly because I didn't believe Damon as Tom Ripley.

PSH was very good though, in what was in essence a very tiny part (I believe he is only in two or three scenes in the entire movie).

“In Burial at Sea – Episode Two, we are delivering a story that involves nearly every major character from the original BioShock and BioShock Infinite,” sayeth Ken Levine in a press release. “It is a story that will give gamers a new perspective on the BioShock universe and conclude the story of BioShock Infinite and Burial at Sea.”

Irrational say that the episode will be built "almost entirely" from scratch, suggesting we'll get to see more new perspectives on Rapture. This time around, we'll be controlling Elizabeth, and Irrational are promising the introduction of new weapons and "stealth-oriented gameplay".

I made a PTA thread in 'movies'.  His next film is an adaptation of a crime novel.

I haven't seen 'Talented' in a long time, but I remember liking it enough to watch it twice.  The movie is about a psychopath that gets himself intertwined with the lives of young, idle rich.

Scent of a Woman is an 80s film about observations on life, and was solid as I remembered to be.  A teenage boy hangs out with a blind Al Pacino as they go on a trip together..  There's a big pivot point (surprise, surprise!) that comes at the end of the film and it's quite moving.  I saw it twice but did so many years ago.

Red Dragon is a formulaic Hannibal lector film, which is fine if you love Silence of the Lambs but personally I find it the weakest of the trilogy.  But still, it's a decent flick and Ralph Fiennes is pretty disturbing...

Along Came Polly is a bad film outside of PSH's character and scenes, which were the 'gem in the rough...'

Where did you get this?  This is quite an old style of animation although it should be replicable with digital.  Paper cutouts?

Just random fun from the internets.. I don't remember where exactly <_<

Does look digitally done though.

So what models are you guys looking forward to?  Mine are below.  Credit to Mizz Lima for the list...

If Edita actually makes it in.. her and Marloes - everyone else can GTFO

Marloes is the most exciting thing to happen in SI for a long time.

The possibility of Edita and/or Bregje too is incredibly tantalising.

But also:

Emily Didonato

Natasha Barnard

Nina Agdal

Valerie Van Der Graaf (Rookie)

Anne V

Jessica Gomes

Marloes Horst (Rookie)

BZ's rumored rookies:

- Bregje Heinen

- Edita Vilkeviciute

Still unconfirmed veterans:

- Alyssa Miller

- Bar Refaeli

The others mostly seem boring, but I hope to be surprised.

I really hope that Edita gets in.  Didn't somebody on the SI thread spot her somewhere?  Or was that a mistake?

==========

So among we three, it is:

-Marloes

-Anne V

-Natasha B

-Valerie

I was doing a little of my full review, and I got to Maryna from 2009.  Perfection. That face of hers is really quite unique to me.  It is seductive without even trying.  I've never seen someone else that has a face remotely like hers.   <3:

Also, some of the best candids of Karlie and Monika this season:

Also, Maryna in 2005.  I believe she won modeling contests in Belarus, which set her up for the future:

So three models I am indifferent to : Nina A. Lily  A., and Crissy won the SI cover..

There's been a lot of new, beautiful, and promising women appearing on the runway as of late.  I don't know their names yet.  And  I've noticed that some like Sammy Grad and Sasha Luss have been having a great year.

I haven't started to discover the new women as of a yet, but a mere three minutes of  looking have already landed me Giulia Manini.

New contribution! Eniko's nudes:

So what are your favorite models as of late??

Ummm I'm kinda leaning more towards the newer models these days... i'm really liking Ophélie Guillermand and Maartje Verhoef.... probably because im seeing a lot of them as they are walking all the major shows. When it comes to the "veterans" I really like Edita, Sigrid, Andreea and Maryna However, my faves are constantly changing.  How about yourself?
