physically Gigi is ok, facially she is dull.   My guess is Blanca will make it.  She did model for VS and her proportions seem right..

Oh, that is definitely not normal for Vita !!  She never looked like that until recently.

Vita got in- and apparently trimmed down to the VS ™ physique..

 

 

 

I admit I was a bit shocked to see Vita's transformation. She has a noticeable tone more so than just sheer weight loss but for me she has lost far too much weight and strayed away from her ideal body shape. Can't say I like the look and I can’t wait until she gains a few lbs back on.

I like Vita a lot, and I'm really, really happy she's in. But that pic... 

I was shocked too and not for the best; just another reminder of how fucked up that industry is, making these girls loose so much weigh in order to have a chance at castings. Such a contradiction that VS is always filling their mouths with "we want healthy bodies and curves in the runway" kind of speech...

Agreed with Dave, though she looks toned she just lost way too much weight. I really hope it is just a thing for the casting and that she will put some kgs on soon.

I've never seen her actually model anything with that new body- when I go up her thread she looks a lot more normal than her instagram pic.

Gigi Hadid is not bad as a commercial model- I've seen her being used in advertising.  But she is also quite <blank> in the face. 

I think you will be surprised by the newcomers but they are from modern HF and fit the mold of being <blank>.  Most selected are the same ones from before.

 

 

Yikes! I hate how all the VS models are so skinny these days. I'm trying not to look at who's been confirmed...I want to be surprised when I watch the show. 

 

I do like Vita. Glad she made it. Gigi Hadid...I'm indifferent. I still kind of see a plain Jane when I look at her face, but my impression of her has improved. She's pretty famous, so it's probably a smart move by VS to feature her in the show.

 

I actually saw an ad today with Gigi in it. I was reading a magazine and saw her in a Maybelline ad. She didn't look good. Her face is just too chubby and unremarkable.

I've come to appreciate, however, that her face is quite symmetrical.  Plus, she does look different from most models. I still am a bit confused as to how she's in the industry, though - she doesn't look as tall as most models and she certainly doesn't have a long neck or elegant appearance.

Her mom was on the Real Housewives...maybe that's what got her in. Who knows.

Bella Hadid is the real question mark- she doesn't even look like a model.  (like JJ3 mentioned).   She looks like a young diplomat to me.

Gigi's body is good but still not exactly model-y. It's not bad, though.

I don't know if Bella really does model. I mean, she does, but I don't know if she's actually walked any runways or anything. She's probably in the industry because Gigi opened the door for her.

Bella looks like a socialite too, come to think of it.  I didn't know that the Hadids were some force..it can't just be the TV show, right?

LOL...apparently she's had a lot of plastic surgery. She isn't very old either. Weird.

I also found out their mom was a model...I guess I knew this, actually...and Gigi started modeling as a child. So, that's how they started in the industry.

Wow, that's a 'hardcore' twitter page.  She looks even less like a model here.. her nose is definitely done right now.  She looks much better TBH.  She probably got a very good surgeon. Hmmph, not so much as to why the hadids.  It seems like a lot of the new girls are the type that won't make it back to VS-  maybe it's a package deal with agencies?  who knows.

Sadly, I don't think Madison, who is gorgeous and amazingly all-american- will make it to VS. Valentina Z. also auditioned (she is in her 30s).  Of  note is she was the RL girl for a decade or so and she's finally released from her contract.  That's sad, as she is at an age where it is difficult to land more big things.

it's too bad that vs can't get people like nina agdal...but I'm guessing nina has contractual stuff that prevents her from doing vs. there are always some notable swimwear/underwear models that vs doesn't get and i always assume it's a contract issue, like how cintia dicker is an aerie model, which is a direct competitor of vs.

Yes, that surely is the case at times.  You know, someone here told me how HF models are declining due to industry trends- do you know about that?  With VS it sometimes makes me wonder if some of the models are just packaged together- eg. an agency comes in and they have a quota allotted, and 1-2 slip through simply because they are affiliated.

With Vita it looks like she knew that her old body would not walk Vs- so she got the izabel gourlart one to get herself in the running.

I've heard VS only takes girls from certain agencies. I'm not up on the that stuff...can't remember which agencies. Model knowledge said that in the thread about that girl's final paper.

How is Iza Goulart still in the show? Mind bottling. Then again I'm also pretty over Alessandra.
