And dammnn   Its so crazy but I have respect so much for you and other people who just GET music..I almost failed music appreciation in 6th grade   Like legit I am terrible...listening I'm good at 

 

Usually they are, and IMO with the hunger games they are too, but still out of book-movie adaptations its one of the better ones out there

Glad you liked it! I definetly enjoyed it...IDK if its better than goodfellas for me, but its up there. I really didn't think Leo could get better..I'm not sure how that was even possible

Yeah Leo has definitely shaken off the whole "Titanic" image and choosing some really interesting characters to portray. I also think he is properly producing some fine performances. I watched shutter island the other day which I thought was great too. Its been ages since I watched Goodfellas. I got it on dvd, so maybe I should put it on again. But although there are similarities between the two films, in the way its been written.  It feels as though they are two completely different films. Purely based on the sheer comedy value The Wolf Of Wall Street brings to the table. I think i got a lot more enjoyment out of The Wolf Of Wall Street. Although I guess thats easy to say considering I've just watched it

Martin Scorsese tends to like his films to be narrated by the main character. I believe that was the case with Goodfellas if I am not mistaken. So in that sense there is comparesions to be made

So the Grammys are this weekend... you like Lana Del Rey, right? I saw she was nominated for "Young and Beautiful" in Best Song Written For Visual Media, along with Coldplay's "Atlas" ( although I can see why people don't like it ) but then noticed Adele's "Skyfall" also qualified I mean, I like "Skyfall" but was surprised it was nominated now, almost a year after winning the Oscar Lana and Coldplay were NOT nominated for the Academy Award though. I like Pharrell's "Happy" and saw it on some list before the nominations were announced but was so surprised when it got nominated because, well, it doesn't quite seem like the song nominated for this kind of award, you know? It would be funny if Williams won but I guess the Academy will give it to U2.

So I just bought the book Divergent......I know its a series and the plot sounds interesting, and I also know its being made into a movie. It will be a few weeks until I get some time to read it...anybody read it? thoughts?

I liked "Skyfall" too... but when I started reading the nominations, Lana, Coldplay... and then Adele popped and I thought to myself "&*^% of course Adele's going to win". Well, maybe that's not 100% sure... but she is obviously loved, as well as Beyonce who, it was pointed out, gets nominations even when seemingly she shouldn't. btw I haven't listened to her (B's) whole new album yet but I wouldn't choose "Drunk in love" as a single

Pharrell's "Happy" really makes me "Happy" but I don't know if it's oh so good to get that Oscar...

Michael Jackson! From about the age of 8 years old I was absolutely obsessed with him. My room looked a little similar to the one above (well not that bad   ) Anyway I had a tattoo designed that tied in with emotions that I had been through as a teenager and those of Mike's struggles. It was a form of expression as opposed to just art.

Not much, I need to do some shopping tomorrow. I am going back to Asia for 3 weeks in about 2 weeks time. My backpack has had its day. So I need to get another one and some sandals too.
