So I had Belvedere Vodka the other day! Think I liked it a little to much. Went down far to smoothly
This really doesn't bode well for my bank balance haha

UGH GUYS HAVE YOU SEEN PHOTOS FROM THE MET GALA?!?
I mean.... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! The theme was supposed to be PUNK... and yet like 70% of the celebs looked like they had no idea about that. Also, MET is supposed to be about experimenting, and some of the fashion choices were incredibly boring... looking at you, Kate Upton.
Beyonce, Queen B? More like Queen of B-list fashion. Ok, Givenchy's no B-list in any sense but she rarely ever dresses well for the red carpet events. It's like every high-class design ends up like looking like House of Dereon.
GWYNETH PALTROW?!?! What was that pink mess? Do you want to annoy more people by reminding them of your famous Oscar dress by wearing pink?!?! ![]()
I know Dior wanted Jennifer Lawrence to represent them cause she's the biggest actress of her generation at this moment but her outfit was... boring. No risk.
BUAHAHAHA Renee Zellwegger.
Looking at the Olsen twins made me as sad as witnessing Amanda Bynes mess.
J.Lo's being J.Lo, at least she tried with her hair... not that punk but well. Why did she bring her back-up dancer, so embarrasing.
I don't 'buy' Amanda Seyfried as a Givenchy muse, she's a nice pretty girl but I can't help it but think she's pretty much like Karen from "Mean Girls" in real life as well.
Allison Williams and Katie Holmes... their dresses made me think of Ursula from "Little Mermaid"
Miley Cyrus, she looked like 'elcetricity kicked her' (don't know if that's how you say it in English?!?!) At least she matched the theme but... she's not good-looking. Like, at all. Below average.
Linda Evangelista remains my least-favourite supermodel. And she's not aging gracefully, take away those fillers from her reach.
I loved the colour of Kate Bosworth's dress but I don't think her outfit was made for MET.
Amber Heard... is it me, or this 'swept to one side' hair trend is getting annoying?!?

I don't really know what Punk is...And I don't think that the most mainstream of celebrities do, either.
So many outfits were so similar...their stylists didn't have many ideas floating around, lol.
That being said, they should have chosen a less obscure theme. But I liked Anne, Gisele, Liu Wen, and Cara. Probably not very accurate but still.....:

And Hilary Rhoda was a host! : ![]()

Why did you mention Belvedere to me?
nah, I know why. Though 'stereotypically' I guess I'm not Polish cause I don't drink vodka... so I don't even know how it tastes like
or rather what's the difference in taste between Belvedere and other vodkas. Chelsea Handler's a big fan of it (Belvedere), I think she was a spokesperson for the brand. And Jay-Z raps about it so I guess it must be good.

Joe, I love "I'm every woman". btw, do you have VH1 Classic channel? When I want to watch tv and there's nothing interesting on other channels, I choose VH1 Classic, there are so many good songs. Strange how some of them seem to be played more often than others. Lately I seem to catch Toto's "Africa" pretty often but I'm not complaining, I love this song.

It doesn't say anything wrong really. I am also not a fan of beer, to me every beer tastes the same.
Something with no alcohol?
I don't really go out and party and even if I do I rarely ever drink alcohol. BUT if I drink something, then that's Malibu, preferably in hot chocolate or cola (lame, I know, but Coca-Cola with Malibu is probably my favourite) or Bailey's, but only when it's cold outside and I'm freezing
nah, the thing is, if somebody told me I couldn't drink alcohol for the rest of my life I wouldn't miss it. Although I know it's better to have vodka with particular foods, but I don't eat those foods too often so

Exactly! ![]()

Alcohol isn't the answer. It just makes you forget the question ![]()

I thought of David Bowie when I saw that red outfit. :-) I don't know where its inspiration is from....is it punk too?
IMHO it was not my sort of thing..! ![]()
Oh I quite liked the girls you mentioned too, especially Anne. What did you think of Anja's outfit? I think it suited her, it was very 'her', seems like she enjoys dressing in such way. And much better than her last year's MET outfit, although I'm sure about 80% men or more would disagree
I'm disappointed Leighton wasn't there
one of my favourite MET outfits of all time was her from 2009? 2010? Anyway, she was dressed in Louis Vuitton and looked like a doll, even though the outift wasn't very 'princessy' I am also surprised Rihanna didn't show up, it's not like she couldn't cancel a concert
(seems like she tends to do this nowadays)

Yeah, well I love them all of course
and I do love VH1 classic as well
.
I can't say it changed my idea about the lyrics seeing as how I was just in it for the melody to start with
.
Gwyneth Paltrow - maybe its to make up for her lack of a personality
?
Jennifer Lawrence - you know you're a woman when 'no risk' is a criticism for an outfit
but I see the point if you mean its an opportunity to make a statement anyway.
Renee Zellwegger - ![]()
Olsen Twins - I'd rather just not look at the Olsene twins in general
.
J.Lo's - she seems to alternate between men with her level of success and backup dancers.
Allison Williams and Katie Holmes - ![]()
Miley Cyrus - I'd say average for a middle schooler with baby fat.
Linda Evangelista - then you would probably gag if you saw that over here, in the L'Oreal ads in stores she's actually the only model (of any age) among the celebrities
. The rest is Longoria, Berrymore, Halle, Degenerous, Swift ect.
Amber Heard - I don't really feel strongly about her in any capacity (of course, the fact that I've never seen her in anything doesn't help) and still don't get the 'omg, she's so perfect' phase BZ went through awhile ago. To me, her only striking feature is her smooth skin which isn't a rare feat by any means.

I know I am annoying everytime I mention "Chelsea Lately" but how can I not with the awesomeness of the interview she did with Ryan Lochte
I have it on my dvr and played it 3 times already and don't wanna delete it... I think the whole interview is available here: http://www.metacafe.com/watch/hl-60212006/chelsea_lately_ryan_lochte_looking_for_the_one/ but as it's not available in my country
I don't even know if it's the whole thing.

As for Anne <3, I do like her new hair but it shouldn't be her staple.
What was your favorite Met year/outfits out of all time?

Yeah, well I love them all of course
and I do love VH1 classic as well

Kati Nescher was at Met (just found out!): She was hot:

I thought it wouldn't be
I mean... it's more punk than 80& of the outfits from that night
Yeah, I don't see it working for her 'everyday' but it suited the look of her MET outfit.
Hmm... that's a tough question because I've been following MET for just a few years now, and it's not like the Oscars that you get to see the outfits everywhere? I'd have to look into my folder with photos from red carpet events...

I happen to like Chelsea
and Ryan...isn't the smartest of athletes I must say
...
Even though I don't find her interesting in any way, I actually do think Gwyneth is one of the more normal seeming celebs actually and do agree that she at least seems genuine.
As to Ellen's name...I can spell Jagodzinska though ![]()
. This may be an incriminating bit of information, but I actually know and can spell the scientific name of well over a hundred foods, plants and animals ![]()

. I'm not sure what it is about people though.

With Minka, I can at least say that I love her lips whereas with Heard, I can't see anything other than being generally above average. Speaking of scientific names, I was looking for another (that is additional, not second) language to learn and I noticed that Russian and Polish were the two most well known that I didn't see any books for anywhere. Of course, I'm not looking to learn Russian, but I figured I'd at least get a little basic Polish down since I already know how to say most of my favorite foods in it already and I went to this Polish diner and they had really good food, the cabbage burritos in particular. Plus, when you're American and you go on vacation (at least in my experience) the ladies people are always impressed that you know another language because Americans are stereotyped as not being able to be bothered to learn a second language.

Thanks for the Kati picture! Haven't seen it before either
she looked more suited with the theme, I see.
As for Catherine, this photoshoot is a bit too dark. And I'm not talking about the fact she's wearing black clothes, 'too dark' as I think the lightning should be different. Anyway, I remember how much of a big deal she was when she first started but when I caught her recent First Face videos I was scared, seems like she lost too much weight!
when she first started she was seen as one of the healthier ones (for high fashion models anyway) and now you clearly see she looks emaciated. Not a good look
I wonder how she was during her break? I remember she was dating Freja, then got engaged to some Australian MTV female host.

She kinda reminds me of "Effy" from "Skins"
...Can see im gonna regreat that comparsion
