Some of us have been talking about Petra's subforum, and I think we are all starting to come to same conclusion. Petra doesn't really need a subforum anymore. Give it to someone like Izabel, Bar or Miranda who could really use it.

Perhaps it's something staff could think about, and we could all vote on who gets the subforum spot?

The reason Petra has a subforum is because of...

1. Her popularity on Bellazon's mother site Chilax (as has been relayed to me).

2. From what I'm told and can see, far less members but MUCH HIGHER % of dudes back then.

3. Of course she was working more then and seemingly much more popular and well-known than those mentioned of course.

Issues

1. It would take a LOT of work. Example, how do you separate the discussion about something specific from general discussion when a thread is already so large?

2. Starting someone with a subforum and everyone commenting in those sections is one thing, dissecting a 500 page thread into multiple parts is another (especially when many here don't label posts).

Miranda

1. I'd say Miranda is absolutely not popular enough by the measure of that original standard popularity (how popular those were when their subforums were made).

2. If she got one, Isabeli fans, Balti fans, Marisa fans, Poly Fans, Zimmerman fans, Inguna fans...would probably all want one too . Cintia's fanbase is probably not too far from hers (and she has a wider range of work).

3. And in a couple years there will likely be another Miranda (Candice Swanepoel, Tori Praver... ...Cintia...) might be where she is (especially if 1/3 gets a famous boyfriend too, NO OFFENSE :| ) and warranting a sub-forum as much as she does whereas the next Gisele, Adriana, AnaBB ect. (popularity wise) none knows .

Izabel

Better chance, but overall, (see Miranda)

Bar

I'm not sure Bar is as popular as one might think as most of the posts are from few faithful fans rather than the massive following that the Adriana's and Laetitia's of the world have. And even if it were I'm not sure her portfolio is varied enough to warrant an entire threads for each area (Runway for example ).

Other Candidates...

If it WERE to happen, Doutzen........or Laetitia would be the closest thing, but probably still not close enough. The issue being that those carried over from the mother site and if we started BZ today, most likely wouldn't have any so the likelihood of starting a new one is very slim.

My Advice in the Meantime...

My personal advice would be for people to label their posts with as much info as possible (photographer, date, magazine, designer ect.) so that it is just easy to find in a search. So if you want to find "Adventures Josie Maran and the Fat Pig and Cow" by Terry Richardson, it will be easier to find that way .
