I didn't see that particular game but quite honestly, I often feel that way while watching England, even though recent results haven't been too bad. International games can be such tense, low-key affairs, especially when a place at the World Cup is at stake. You'll often find that teams play to not lose, rather than to win. It's an effective and legit way to play, but it's certainly not fun to watch.

Playing to not lose is indeed not as interresting as playing to win. I guess I can understand since there's so much at stake and so much pressure, but still . Did you by any chance catch that last Ajax vs. Barcelona game? Hopefully that 4-0 didn't look as bad as it looked on paper . I've actually really come to enjoy women's and college soccer . The women seem really tough and serious about it too. That's not to say that the men aren't but its just interresting that there are so many feminine looking ones who don't seem to think twice

about being knocked down .

Hmm interesting ice cream make-up there sir, I shall keep my eye open for such a style since it's staring to make me drool a bit here already The baking though is a pain in the butt with substitutions so I give you props for getting that down, especially with the cookies I must say those are not the most conventional methods I hear about to keep pests away from devouring your crops but I guess whatever works to keep chemical use out eh?

Baking can be somewhat of a bugger in that if you don't get it right, its not as easy to fix as other things. On the other hand, it is rewarding when it comes out right . I would suggest some name brands, but I'm not sure whether that would be spam. There are some great cookbooks out for people with allergies though. One is called the 'Intollerant Everything Cookbook' or something like that. I'll try to get the exact name.

The animals are a work in progress although its improving. To me the best thing to do with insects is to mimic what we see in nature. In nature, you don't have someone spraying plants with insecticide and the same plants survive because the bugs, larvae (lacewing adults and larvae eat pests) and animals that eat them are there to keep them in check. In nature, the plants that attract them are already there, but we have to plant them to attract them. For exampple, Queen Ann's Lace attracts assassin bugs who eat aphids, whiteflies ect. Daisies attract hoverflies, Angelica and Dill attracts ladybugs. Marigolds, sunflowers, cornflowers, lavender ect. all attract beneficial insects. Some plants repel mosquitos and other attract bugs that eat them. Of course, oftentimes people just see insects and spray them all. Aside from getting chemicals on the food and killing beneficial insects, the pests quickly develop immunity to the chemicals anyway . There's also non-chemical based sprays that are effective like plant oils, garlic sprays ect. You can even buy some predatory bugs like beneficial nematodes that act as parasites to pest insects. Its worth mentioning too that some insects prey on plants because they are already sick and they are often weak because they're not having their needs from their natural habitat met. Sometimes just mimicking plant's natural habitat and keeping them healthy boosts their immunity. I used to do the chemical thing, but had somewhat of a Scrooge experience on that end and now find the natural way to be more effective at face value.

^ Ha, yep, with baking you need to follow a recipe with no major fudge ups or else you got yourself the makings of a dessert disaster and some grumpy folk who didn't get there sweet fix Luckily there are plenty of websites I know of if I ever need to bake with certain ingredients out, one lovely thing about the net eh?

Hmm, great idea there sir Honestly that mindset there has to be one of the best solutions for a lot that ails humanity at the moment. But of course one has to be careful with what NATURE we introduce to specific areas or else we have our self another man made problem.

Yeah, with sauces, you can always add a little more of something to make up for putting too much of this or that, but with baking there's so much time and resources already involved. There are a lot of great recipes online though. Of all the things that are sketchy online, if you just want to know how to make a basic recipe, you can get it pretty easily .

I can't stress enough (well, I probably could) how much I frown upon introducing foreign species to another environment. We can just narrow it down to say, it just doesn't often end well . Killer bees, different mosquitoes goes without saying. Many species are also extinct or endangered as a result. Aside from the introduction of dangerous organisms, I don't particularly think it has the same effect on the life of the every day person as chemicals and pollution since our bodies can't adapt to them by contrast, but still important. Thankfully, with natural gardening, the goal is to simply attract beneficial organisms that are already there rather than introduce foreign organisms. Usually someone gets the big idea to import something to kill fire ants and that's where we get in trouble. Every region already has what it needs. For example, in North America, lady beetles and pirate bugs are already in the neighborhood in large numbers. By adding plants that they like, one simply invites some to their yard. Every country, city or region already has large numbers of beneficial insects in their area and native plants available that attract them. Unfortunately, they're often sprayed along with the pests all while the pests develop resistance to the chemicals anyway. Aside from inviting predatory insects (that are native to the area), some plants repel pests on their own. Lavender repels ants, Marigolds repel whiteflies, rosemary, garlic and chives repel a lot of things. Then some plants benefit each other just by being grown together. For example, onions and carrots grown together help each other to fight off pests. On the other hand, some things hurt each other. For example, parsley is known to actually greatly harm lettuce when grown too close to it. A lot of pests also feed on weak plants, so just keeping plants healthy will also naturally make them more immune to diseases and pests. Crop rotation confuses pests too.

I found that Adriana butt picture by accident. I had no idea it was her all this time . Its interesting that she's considered to be part of the post supermodel era and its true that the time of fashion models being household names or like regular celebrities had passed, but looking at her body of work overall, it seems that she really accomplished a lot. I wonder if she had been American if she would be a household name. I wonder that about quite a few though.

^ You said it best sir, each area has it's internal balances to control and keep equilibrium within a given ecology. Mother nature has everything you need to keep what pest you need out and keep those that are beneficial to whatever you might be growing. That's what I had in mind back when I was growing my little garden here at the in-laws 2 seasons ago. I used no pesticides and implemented certain techniques to attract welcomed critters and capture the rest or at least deter them from eating plant A but eat plant B instead.

Nice one ! And great pics . I figured they would like it out there since they love the cold, mountainous areas, but didn't know there was something so simular there. I really don't know too much about European animals compared to African and North American, so its always good to learn more . There seems to be a wide range everywhere. Of course, it goes without saying that they aren't the fastest and thus are extremely appetizing to lynxes, bears, birds of prey and wolves. They do have their amazing digging skills to bail them out though, as well as their tolerance for great altitudes. Even aside from that, they don't go down without a fight as they are capable of delivering devastating bites to predators when all else fails. Is the Eurasian lynx in strong numbers over there? In the marmot's area over here, they prey on hares mostly, but love trying to get a paw on one of these little guys though.

The lynx (lynx lynx) in Slovakia I thought was listed as endangered species (and I´m sure it is still, but I found this info on wiki:

Na Slovensku sa v karpatských pohoriach v nadmorských výškach 800 až 1000 m. n m. zachoval a zásluhou úplnej ochrany po druhej svetovej vojne sa jeho početnosť tak zvýšila, že začal prenikať aj viac na západ, na moravské územie. Nachádza sa vo väčšine národných parkov Slovenska a v ostatných chránených územiach.[12][13]

Translation:

The population in Slovakia in Carpatian mountains and altitudes of 800 to 1000 m.o.s. is secured, and especially thanks to total protection after the second world war they have risen in numbers so much that the lynx started to migrate more to the west on the Moravian region. You can find him in most of the Slovakian national parks and other protected areas.

Which is a great thing though it´s very rare to see him, lynx is naturally a very shy animal.

Ah, yes the dog. Wouldn't we all love to know what they're saying ? Great points about chewing and I will have to try this waiting between thing. That was definitely a big weakness of mine. It also helped me to find out that food is more enjoyable when I chew it anyway . She's definitely a 'tall glass of water' as the southern expression goes and surely one of the champions of the 'post baby' body and seems to be as good as ever . There are so many fad exercise programs out there, but she should probably put hers on the market .

What does "tall glass of water" means?

She always says it´s mostly due to her great genetics, and exercising and keeping herself fit even during pregnancy - she never gains much weight so there is not much to lose when she gives birth

Joe,

I found this elegant emoticon that could probably become a permanent addition to the forum:  Call it Cult Icon?

And come to think of it, we could use a 'starry eyed' emoticon as well.  Maybe something with hearts for eyes, and a rainbow behind its head:

Well, they're of course random acts of my divine goodwill and thus requests could turn awkward if say, someone on the verge of banishment were to ask. That aside, It does appear that you and I are both  without  . Believe it or not, there are some restrictions based on both size and format. I have a popcorn one that meets the size requirement somewhere. I have one with the hearts that is in our standard format too, good idea on that one.

It is a southern U.S. expression for tall woman (generally meant in a flirtatious manner) ex. 'ummm...you're a tall glass a water ain't ya?' Or of course, referring to the person in such a way to someone else.

What is the size and format limitation?  Maybe your popcorn gif would be better suited.  Mine appears to only be slightly larger than the ones currently in use.

As for the starry-eyed emoticon, in my mind something that conjures up impressions of Starry-eyed anime would work the best:

Love this one:

I was going to do scariest movies of the 21st century, but realized there were too many candidates I haven't seen. On top of that, some are more gross than scary. Instead, Muppets that still scare the crap out of me . Strangely enough, I always found most actual horror movies to be more gross and funny than scary. That said, these guys creeped me out big time.

Well, some refer to men's chests as boobs or 'tits' too and some men are called beautiful ect. Its all relative to one's location and experience. I always here it referring to women likely because A) Men are probably just more likely to initiate the flirt I guess? B) Tall women probably stand out more than tall men do. Of course, being 7'0 gets everyone's attention, but in terms of what's relatively common, a 6'3 woman is bound to get some attention as being particularly tall and if she's attractive and in the Southern U.S., she's likely to be called a 'tall drink of water.' It goes without saying that not much is only for one side 100% of the time aside from 'cycle' or 'period' though. On a different note, I forgot to send you my condolences about GG . I know it was the only scripted show you liked. I know you're into nipples now and I would post you some, but I don't know what host to textlink from. You could probably try the Lara Stone thread if you want .
