Yeah...I feel the same way but since Ms. Cop doesn't like it I guess I'll stop thanking her for all the wonderful things she posts on the SoA thread
and I'll stop saying how much that little baby looks like Mr. Magoo..... cause he totally does, I swear... the nose.... the squinty eyes.... he's all bald.... Magooo.... Magooo!!!! Okay, I'm tired. I'll stop now.
and I guess I'll keep to myself about how Juice totally needs to fix his friggin' hair >_> although LMS and I might boycott until he does, so maybe I'll just write "Bring back the mohawk" at the end of every one of my posts.
And I'll stop posting about SoA now, since this is not the thread for it and the whole post will be requested to get moved to the other thread
Point is.... I think it's nice to say thank you when someone takes the effort to post things to share with other fans, and while some aren't fans of the candids some are nice, pictures of them eating are a bit overboard... but I enjoy some of them. And maybe the "She's so pretty" posts aren't really necessary (I'm guilty of those too
) but let's face it, you get attacked and cause big mess if you go in and say "OMG! She looks like crap in those!"
But some discussion, maybe, like, Well, I love her hair like that, or she looks stunning in that dress aren't so bad.
Just my opinion.
Bring back the mohawk!
DOWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN WITH THE HAIR, GO WITH THE MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

with all that said Danni, maybe they are new comers, and Not comfortable with saying anything but a thank you or posting a emo, now if they have been here since the forum started and all they post is thank yous and emo's well, ermmmmmmmm thats another story, i just DONT get how one can have a pro that long, and not have ONE damn thing to post ![]()

I think what Cop ( Or maybe just me ) was trying to get at, was there are people who are like religious followers of certain topics who are always grateful, I get that. But when someone who has never posted in said topic, etc. Just suddenly rights "Thanks." Or posts an emotion-icon on its own, doesn't that just seem like spam? Especially when they never post on said topic again? People on here complain about duplicate threads or similar topics being pointless and taking up to much BZ hosting/service, yet pointless comments/spam is okay? Like Limey said once, if people haven't got some decent to say/post. Then don't do it?
*Hopes that said comment won't cause another page debate* :knives:
let the pages of debate begin. lollllll
I agree with LMS (big shock I am sure). if it is someone that is new, I can understand that, but someone who ahs been here awhile and that is all they do, well that is odd.

No.. It's people who have been here months + years. ![]()
That & everyone knows I'm a perfectionist. I hate when I start a topic/go on my fav models topics. To see people who write like 5 years olds commenting all the damn time. ![]()
Rude.. I know. Sorry.

its the nature of the beast, just cause we make a topic, doesnt mean it will remain flawless lolllllllllllllllllllllll

well, as long as their are topics people will comment. I know, you would rather it be more insightful comments that can elad to a serious discussion, but that will come. But, i can understand that you put in the time and thought on making a topic you think people will discuss and all you get is "wow, cool" and that can get to you
^ I know, but I feel like doing this...

All because of a stupid...

Thank you Danni for clarifying it.
and can someone do something about Movie SP?
all he is doing is making topics and putting up links for illegasl downlaods of movies. Don't want BZ getting nailed for that.

^Regarding this debate - I've always just seen it as plain 'good manners' to say "thank you" for certain posts. Like has been said about the male model forum, I found that the lack of any kind of response I was getting on the 'Other Females Of Interest' threads I contributed too led to me simply not bothering to post in them anymore...guess i don;t see the big deal in complimenting on pics psoted. i eman tey are here for us to enjoy right? seems like we are suppsoed to comment on them.

It's not just about thanking people for photo/video posts either - I like to acknowledge members who have taken the time to enter a discussion or debate (whether I agree with their point or not!) because at least it shows that people are reading what's being said. There's little worse here than making some sort of long post and then getting zero replies.
On Behati's thread at least I try to collate as much information I can - in regards to the publication/photographer etc) to give to those who follow it. Sometimes it's to my detriment, as then I have given all the pertinent info to those who then repost on other forums/blogs and so they don't need to credit this source. I go and find things - I don't simply lift from tFS, and it's nice to know it is appreciated (I'm not saying I'm alone in this - just writing from my own experience and point of view).
There are members here who I don't bother to thank now too - mainly because I know that the above is all they do, plus they never recognise anybody else's posts here either and seem to operate in their own bubble. I look upon this forum as a community, and as such it's good to communicate and encourage. I was so thrilled when I was gifted my own thread, and I've always considered it a massive compliment as I know many members want (and deserve) one. Because of that I've tried to be courteous to everyone whose path that I have crossed, and to thank them appropriately - until a point when you know it's not worth your time: I don't get the 'fastest finger first' type approach to new pictures, I thought Bellazon meant more than that? Just to get in a new shot and not say or do anything else seems a bit, well, pointless? I like to give and receive (
) as you only feel the benefits of it when you contribute too.
Anyway, that's me off of my high-horse. It's not just Joe who can ramble or Limerlight that can consider themselves the fulcrum of the forum!!! ![]()
^I raise you a Jolie <_<

^^
thanks BAron, and that is sincere. Tha was very insightful and exactly how i feel too.
I know i am not the biggest contributor on ehre when it comes to psoting pics or finding newsworthy items, but i do appreciate and enjoy the people that do get them and psot them, and i do my best to show that appreciation on the threads that i like. Yes, sometimes i may go voerboard on it, but that is because i know thaty that particualr person has really put in alot of effort on it and i want them to feel that at elast someone does enjoy and appreciate it.
And as you said, getting ZERO response would also cause me to stop posting things if i thought people just didn't care.
and also, let's face it, if we did outlaw saying "thanks" than we would have others up in arms saying that people need to show appreciation more. lolllll Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

That's real clever, trash the one person who actually knows the creator and can get info and pics early. Genius!

AMEN TO BOTH BARON AND SWEET LU, nothing WRONG with saying thank you, knowing that person when out and looked to find said pictures, videos etc.
BUT to play devils advocate, i DO see Dani's point of the pros that only go around and post thank you's. that is a bit odd, i agree

nobody was bashing anyone. it is called joking around.

Lol, Joe, what an eposit all gets so complicated at some point
but I get it. I think I expressed myself wrong - I meant what part of body (including the face) is the first one your eyes go to - apart from the top 10 of course, which I wanted to see too
As for me - and women - it´s different with models and women in reality - when I look at models, the first thing that my eyes go to are hips and the whole area there. But in reality, and this applies for the men too - the eyes are the most important things for me. Just THEN comes the rest of the body - but eyes are vital. They don´t have to be pretty or beautiful (in the way people consider pretty or beautiful) but they have to have... something. Some deepness about them. You know, sometimes you look people in the eyes and all you can see is some kind of weird glistening and your own reflection, and sometimes you look people in the eyes and see... the whole universe there
![]()
But I wholeheartedly agree with you about smile
smile is very important, and smile in the eyes too
once you know a girl who smiles with her eyes, don´t let her go
Oh, well, when you put it like that, then eyes are most important to me too then
. That's a great point about the reflection too as some can have pretty eyes that seem kindof souless or vacant
and others have eyes that as you say show the universe
.
When it comes to models' looks, if its commercial I tend to start at the face and then also the hips are second for some reason and then if its high fashion I see if she has some kind of energy in the pose, especially if she has some life and energy in the polaroids. In regular life, I've already had the woman of my dreams physically, but the love of my life was above average though not amazing in looks but I would still choose her all over again. Long story short, in regular life it starts with the personality for me, so that only emphasizes the importance of eyes on the physical side even more I guess.
