Yea, all I know is the top model chick

Joe, today was such a good day for our sport, at Olympics!

we got 2 medals. One of them in speed skating, bronze (totally unexpected! We won with U.S. ) and the other one-golden, in cross-country skiing-30 km, which was expected, but my God, the emotions were :shock: and yeah, that was just the second golden medal in the entire history of Winter Olympic Games for my country

I'm so happy

And what about you? I mean, did everyone you hoped to win, won?

Actually, this is my first time watching the Winter Olympics . To be honest, not only are the events (skating, skiing ect.) not that popular with southern black people in general, but doesn't have the overall commercial visibility in general here that one would expect . Like when I would try to get updates on ESPN the next day after events, college basketball was the main story :shock: ....And the only person I knew in general before hand was Apolo Ono only because he was on Dancing With the Stars .

BUT, I did come to like many of the events more and learn more . There was terrible tragedy of course (the young man dieing and the skater's mother dieing) and there was triumph (the girl skating after her mother died as well as seeing people's pride in their countries in general). Also, the opening ceremony was most lovely and the girl that sang "O Canada" in the beginning sang with the utmost emotion and vigor .

I learned about sports I had never seen and it was an all around good time. Though ironically the theme I liked the LEAST was the Lyndsey Vohn coverage :| . It almost seemed like Lyndsey Vohn and the Winter Olympics at times , but other than that, I'll be looking forward to it the next time and maybe learning some names for when that time comes .

Don't usually watch hockey but the 3rd quarter and overtime of the USA vs. Canada was quite nice ! Aside from US losing of course . But it means so much to Canada its hard to begrudge it to them .

Oh no Layla I feel bad . I love Valentina I really do but... ...On the bright side she is one of the nicest models I know and her humility for someone so cute and successful is very refreshing .
