oh, and Bratislava it´s the capital of Slovakia, and it does not actally have a hilly countryside (not like our Tatras has), but yeah, some places (and still there are many of them thanks god) are green and beautiful even if it´s a city.

We went to look at one house in Tonkovce, Novy zivot (it´s a village near Bratislava) and it was wonderful. Peaceful, nice house and quite a big piece of land. Exactly what we were looking for

Well, vanessaaa, ironically I have "Toddlers and Tiaras" as # 1 on my list of worst shows ever and also think child pageantry should be outlawed universally . But as to the pianist thing, by 'scary', (I hate that I couldn't find a video ) I mean they come out and sit in their big gowns and play with a lot of classical concert level intensity all while maintaining the pageant smile the whole time (as if losing the smile will cause a point deduction, hehe ) so the combination of the frantic playing while maintaining the Barbie smile through the whole thing makes them look kindof crazy .

I don't know if I've ever actually seen an episode of Stargate. I remember watching (and enjoying) the movie though, so maybe I should give it a go. Is it one of those shows that you can drop into at any time, or would I be lost?

With the exception of the Baron's latest post in The Odditorium, I really can't think of anything scarier than those beauty pageant kids. Imagine one of them coming at you with a knife *shudder*. :| :| :|

Joe, we finally have a Polish version of ANTM. Yesterday there was the first episode with photoshoots for the 13 girls (well, 11 in fact as the other 2 worked for a photoshoot for "Glamour" which was a "gift" for the best accomplished task for one of them.... and the one who won it got to choose the second girl...nevermind) and if you want to see the results, I'll give you a link:

But I wouldn't be myself if I didn't add some comments to it (btw if you click a girl's name in my "review", it will link you to the "before and after" photos of them)

1. Beata's photo was voted the best one, and I agree. She somehow reminds me of a Dutch model, whose name I can't remember (I'm surely not talking about Marloes... or Lara or Bette for that matter )

2. Zuza acted like a bad girl in the programme, was the only one who got a scorpio for her photo and she didn't even use it?!? I mean.... she was so mild on this photo....

3. Damn Emilia, I hope she will be eliminated in the next episode. First of all, she "rebelled" for the second time. In the last week's episode, she would be almost kicked out (I haven't seen that episode from the very beginning though ) but I remember all the girls were dressed the same for some task and she had different clothes and... Idk, she was weird. And yesterday, she cried and sweared a lot just because she didn't like the haircut she was getting (which was waaaaay better than her disastrous hair she had before; you don't really see it in this picture, but before she used to have a weak looking wavy hair of a shitty colour ). btw, she has such a childish face for a 23-year old mother, right?

4. Paulina Przech came to the casting as the "Paris Hilton wannabe" (as Joanna Krupa described her) with overtanned skin and platinium blonde hair (something aka Gaga's Poker Face days) and they didn't accept her at first but as some girl resigned, they took her to the programme. She is not so interesting though but her make-over made her look somehow classy.... and what I hated about yesterday's episode, is that her disgust and fear from posing with those ugly insects led to her telling a story of her life in 5 minutes ok, it was terrible, because she said her mum died in a car accident when she (mother) was driving with her and her brother but did I really need to know this? It's not insensitivity, it's just that I hate it on all these tv "talent" show the need to share their private stories. Or maybe tv forces them, anyway, I don't like this melodrama.

5. Of course they made Marta, a go-go dancer pose with naked breasts

I just got back from London, i saw a basketball game between the- LA LAKERS && THE MINNESOTA WOLVERINES, the la lakers lost . We had cort-side seats and were sitting literally like 2 iinches away from the Lakers, it was so cool! Ashley Cole (Miss Cheryl Cole's ex) and James Corden (from Gavin and stacey ) were there and i got photos with them. Kobe Bryant was sitting across from me && we asked him to pose for my camera, we were the only ones who managed to ask for a photo because of all the security. I was the only one who got a pic with Ashley too cause he had bodyguards as ppl were shouting abuse at him.

And Joe, I wouldn't advise you to watch PNTM :| check the photos and that's it.... the programme is idk, I watch it out of curiosity/because I love modelling. But there's too much of "reality tv" to me..... a different tv channel here had a much better programme about modelling, called "Supermodels" (where Ania J. once appeared) it was kinda like a documentary (imo) and showed this business better.
