@ Layla, I hate to brag, but I'm an ace at capitals , though not their spelling and I thought you said she had a version of "Love is My Drug" :| . But their song is a remake though, Jamie Fox sang the original in the early 90s when no one would take him seriously as an artist LINK.

Ahhh now I remember. These are 2 different songs, it's just that their titles are so similar! I think Leighton's was "Your love is a drug" and Ke$ha's "Your love is my drug"?

And donbot, thanks for sharing, though I must admit I didn't like the Hey Ya remake . Thoug I wouldn't say it was 'bad' of course. But then I generally dislike remakes of hip hop songs (though it wasn't rap of course), especially when they say certain things like in this case "you think you got it, ooh you think you got it" sounded kindof unnatural and strange . Though ironically I dislike remakes of hip hop songs the most when hip hop is the genre that samples the most.

It was probably about Taylor Momsen aka Cindy Lou Who/Jenny Humphrey the lead singer of The Pretty Reckless. She's so rebel I guess she does most of these crazy things for attention which is sad. Because her voice is quite good yet she makes everything possible to make people not like her (generally). She turned 17 a few weeks ago and this week she made it to the news for showing off her breasts (with nipples covered by pasties(?)) on the stage. And she wears underwear and stripper heels as her daily outfit and well, she herself described her own style as "high class hooker" look into Baron's thread we discussed Taylor/Jenny a bit there

When Tyra was casting her she said "shes beautiful but doesn't look like a model" - which i didn't understand but now i get it, i can't imagine her doing editorial work , shes very commercial. She's doing a lot more acting though- apparently she just booked a Cheerios commerical

As to the Top Model girl, slight bias against her because I found her extremely cocky (especially for someone who made one of the most bonehead comments in the show's history, I hate that I can't rememberig what it was ). But she came off to me is vey arrogant and also very annoying even aside from that :| . As to her looks, she's cute I guess, but doesn't interrest me much. I love the gif though . But, vanessaaa, as to not understanding the statement of 'pretty but doesn't look like a model', it can be somewhat tricky, because usually they mean they either don't look like they could be believable in high fashion or even in the context of commercial fashion their poses don't look professional in a way that someone would think they were a model if they didn't know they were. In an everyday kind of pictue (polaroid, candid ect.), to some people, someone with a more commercial kind of look would have to put more into the pose (some expression, fire in the eyes ect.) to come off as looking like a fashion model opposed to just a girl smiling in a picture if that makes sense. Of couse, one of the many problems with ANTM is they don't seem to acknowledge that there are various niches in the industry, as in everyone doesn't have to be high fashion and everyone doesn't have to be commercial.

We have all these 'classic' lollies (candy?) in Australia that every single person would know and recognise, but I genuinely have no idea if it's universally the case or just within our shores. I don't think I've ever seen or heard references to them in any movie or tv show, which made me wonder all the more. So - how many of these do you know?
