*none on thin ice, though yes cookies help*1. I guess it isn't a huge deal, but am I the only one that hates threads with "so and so lookalike" ect. in the description
. Then most of the thread becomes about people giving their two cents about whether they look alike or not or how the one they like is way better or well, maybe they are a little alike ect. and 98% don't look that much alike anyway :| .
2. Even though there's no rule about crediting sources here, I really wish people would stop reposting other people's scans
. Oftentimes scans are even reposted in the same thread 5 some odd pages later :| . Crediting scans is reasonable I think...
Both motions seconded by moi.

Thirded by me.
So many reposts and what not
:yuckky:
I can understand if it's pages like 25 or so later then ya it happens, but as joe said some of it is nuts ![]()
Totally agree, Joe. Especially with the crediting of scans.
I know I don't scan stuff anymore because my scanner broke a long time ago, but when I did, people reposted them without creditng me...sometimes taking off my tag too!
It takes more time than I think people realize to scan an image and edit it to make it look clear. Not to mention the money to buy the more expensive mags the fashion freaks like me do. Excuse my scan rant. ![]()

and the same thing happens to people that make gifs. people will jsut ake and repost, not just here but in other sites and never credit the originator.

I always include sources if I know them, but in my experience even that can be something of a minefield. Once, I posted pics giving credit to who I thought was the original poster, then received a massive rant via PM from another member, claiming the pics as their own and accusing me of all sorts (I should mention that it didn't happen here at BZ, though it probably goes without saying since nobody around here takes themselves that seriously). I can certainly sympathise with those who take the time to scan images or create gifs but equally, I'm not surprised when people shy away from giving sources. It's the internet - you can't win either way. ![]()

I guess it´s something like a siamesse twin, isn´t it?
^Can't help think of this.. (any Gervais/Merchant/Pilkington fans in here?
) ![]()

Obviously photoshopped....Obviously not
....
:|
well, the photo looks photoshopped anyway, and I'm not talking about her bust size but her waist.... the boobs-waist ratio looks incredibly unreal.
(any Gervais/Merchant/Pilkington fans in here?
Guess not ![]()
I never took you for a gamer, Joe.. what's with the Cloud avatar? ![]()

Jennka - I guess, though in the pic, they had a pregnant belly
.
Layla - Oh, yeah, definitely some photoshop with the waist (even though it is stil very small for the boobs in the vid). But I thought you initially meant the weirdness could be explained away as photoshop ![]()
. Seems the boob discussion took a dark turn for everyone didn't it
?
donbot - Sorry there
. I had never heard of them, but since youtube freezes my computer sometimes, I was trying to download it instead, but I was able to load the first few minutes and it was pretty interresting
. As to the video game thing, Well, you're right about me no being much of a gamer
but I must admit I'm not much of one myself, but from watching others play and seeing some sequential videos I came to find the storylines of some games (Silent Hill, some of the FF, Astro Boy, Bioshock ect.) and I found myself intriqued with the stories and characters even though I have no playing time, patience or talent myself ![]()
.
Random
question, what movie have you all seen the most times
?

^Hooray! The sign... ![]()
You know, it's probably It's A Wonderful Life because I can pretty much guarantee I'll watch it once a year at Christmas!
Although I do remember a particular turbulent period when I was staying with my cousin and Grease was on repeat for about a week! ![]()
Altogether now:
![]()
^Not even heard of Ricky Gervais? ![]()
He and Steve Merchant created The Office and Extras - two of the best comedy series of the last decade. ![]()
That clip was from a radio show they did in London for a few years with another guy Karl Pilkington. After that the three of them went on to doing podcasts, which have gotten a ridiculous number of downloads worldwide. Hilarious stuff.
That's pretty cool that you take an interest as a non-gamer. Some people don't seem to recognise video games as a valid/credible storytelling medium at all. Props for the Bioshock shoutout

As for the movie question.. geez, I don't know which one it would be. Some of the movies I used to watch loads of times (some of them - don't ask why
): Aliens, Terminator 2, A Nightmare on Elm Street 3, My Cousin Vinny, Weekend at Bernie's, Child's Play, A Fish Called Wanda

Altogether now:
, I figured you'd appreciate your sign going to good use
. And yeah, you probably represent a large number of people with the movies
. Though, not to be a shock junkie, but I've seen neither
. But at least I've seen some of the Wonderful Life and not having seen the whole thing is moreso a product of company distration and coincidence

Well, I vaguely know of them, just not by name if they're the guys that created the Office since the Office just happens to be one of my favorite running comedy shows. Only, ironically I like the American version despite the "awkward humor" and I hear the original version has 3X as much awkwardness so I kindof avoided it
. But I guess I should give it a shot
. And glad you find my non-gamer appreciation cool
. I've always thought the writing in comic books and video games was vastly underrated
.
As to the movie thing...OMG, The Waterboy  ![]()

Randomquestion, what movie have you all seen the most times
?
Mine's probably Ghostbusters, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future or The Princess Bride. It's very rare that I'd throw the DVD's on, but whenever one of them comes on TV, I always end up watching the whole thing. ![]()

DoNBOT SHUT IT= its not called crazy, it's called Taste love. just cause i think Marisa is one of the most overated women doesn't mean i think she's ugly. shes pretty but i don't get the hype whatsoever.
If i compare her without makeup to say Candice...its just a fail.

FREAKING HADES, YOU BOYS AND THE LOVE OF TA TA'S ![]()
![]()
^I don't care if you like her or not - that's your choice ![]()
I do think you're crazy for thinking her body is disproportional though.. sounds as though it's not an objective opinion ![]()

I can understand both sides. On one hand, I could see one seeing crazy as a strong word although disproportional is indeed an opinion. For example some say Candice's hips are disproportional to the top half ironically, but disproportional implies that there is a factual standard to what proportion is and there isn't of course. But I can see seeig crazy as being a bit strong of course
.
As to the comparing faces, Marisa didn't become popular for being considered the 'most beautiful' so you can compare her face with a lot of models and say they're prettier. You could even compare some prettier everyday women's faces to put either to shame
. But all in all, they have different appeals. Marisa isn't as pretty, but then on the flip side I'd say Marsa's superiority as a spokes model is no smaller of a gap in that you can ask her about any random subject on the spot be it sports, business or politics and she nails it (much like Cindy and Tyra) thus gaining credibility with a demographic of women most models can't whereas some were very disappointed with Candice on the flip side in that capacty. So they both nail their own niches which is why there are so many models
.

^ I agree with Joe ![]()
