^ Touché! (Y)

Most models I am indifferent about. I have not yet developed feelings of like or dislike towards them. Karlie (your avatar) is someone I feel neutral about but it is more on the "like" side.

The female models I have a higher liking for include: Amy Hixson, Gisele, Adriana, Karolina Kurkova, Oluchi Onweagba, Marisa Miller, Valentina Zeliaeva, Valeria Avdeyeva, Lily Aldridge, Daniella Sarahyba...I will keep the list short

Who are some of your favorite models?

Can someone explain to me what this list is about? I'm reading the posts but I still don't get it

I can recommend you books too, but I'm not sure what type you like. :-) Most of the books I've read have been boring for most, and all have been nonfiction. What did you get out of the whole classics minor? I mean, besides the ability to talk about classic literature?

I rarely read fictions because I do not have the patience for them

My interest in the Classics started in the 6th grade. We were learning about Greek civilization and mythology. Totally feel in love with it!

I was referring to you, as you had obviously felt strongly and had thought through the topic. Yes, humans are 'fight or flight' intuitive creatures at the most basic level and the analysis/judgement facility is developed through civilization and training.

Yeah, I tend to analyze and ponder on things. Sometimes too much and to the point it is automatic :|

In life there are rarely absolute answers or solutions. It varies person to person. What might work for one person might not necessarily work for someone else. Each person needs to figure out what works best for them. To each their own!

Yeah, it's important not to see such things as a secular religion of sorts, and let it totally dominate one's life so that when all is said and done, this singularity is realized to be all-consuming.

I like how you referred to it as a secular religion

^ Most people seem to either like/love or have feelings of love-hate towards VS However there are a few rare ones that just dislike the brand with a passion!!!

BTW, how have you been? You were recently on holiday, right? Where did you go? How was it?

Shit just happens, no matter which colour you are... that´s what I think

I agree shit happens to everyone---some more than others. We do the best we can to progress

BTW, how have you been?

Damn busy with work, but it´s finally over and we all get a little rest in work, so I can dedicate more of my time to BZ

how about you?

I am totally on the same boat as you. Work is generally busy for me but it is extra busy during the Spring and Autumn. It is a little better now but still a long way to go. It doesn't help when my seasonal allergies are also acting up. The crazy and unpredictable weather has made it quite unbearable this year

Glad you are back. I missed you!!! How was your weekend?

I know, people are just freaky when it comes to VS. Though I hate the photoshop overkill, they have a great taste in girls

Oh, I've just been in the countryside with my mom for a long weekend - nothing special, but it was lovely. I'm always visiting friends in the middle of nowhere for I can take my dog and cat with me without problems. It's like my second home. Funny thing, we've never been on holiday together since I was a kid. But I had told my mom so much about the place and then just decided to take her with me. Since she's usually spending holidays in mid- to upper-class hotels I wasn't sure if she would like it there, it's rather basic. But she loved the place and my friends and is already planning to go there again

My weekend... we went to the woods after very long time, and well, I don´t remember half of it and still getting sober and I´m like "No more alcohol!" how about you?

The weather is quite crazy here too though. At first it´s hot and sunny and then it almost freezes it´s insane!

VS does generally have decent taste when it comes to models *cough*Barbara*cough*. One thing that confuses me is why strong catwalkers suddenly cannot walk properly on the runway at the VSFS So many of them walk like they have never done a runway show in their life! Very bizarre.

Is this countryside location in Germany?

Ahh...the fabulous woods

I totally understand what you mean about getting sober and promising yourself "No more alcohol!" Then comes next weekend it is like, same shit different day

I stayed home most of last weekend b/c I wasn't feeling well, but I spent some time w/ my mum for Mother's Day. Did you spend time w/ your mum on Mother's Day?

No, but I called her I´m not very family girl, I don´t enjoy spending any holidays with my family - and my visits are very rare too I know it´s not the best thing to say - but that´s the way I am. However, we call each other almost every day, sometimes it´s exhausting

Do you spend much time with your fam pinkie?

I totally understand. I am not much of a family person myself. Mainly b/c I chose not to be close to them. They are toxic people. I live w/ my parents due to financial reason but I avoid interacting with them as much as I can.

There is this assumption that all families are loving and perfect. What people don’t realize is families consist of people and people are imperfect. Also, most people have personal issues they bring to whatever relationship they are part of

Btw, love the new set

Olá meu amigo? Awww…I am your fav!? Life has been treating me the same-old, same-old. It was extra busy at work for awhile but now it is just “normal” busy I am also dealing with allergies. Worse this year than in previous years because of the wacky weather.

How have you been? Anything exciting happening or about to happen (like a holiday)?

Thank you, glad you like it

Oh my - toxic is exactly the word I was searching for absolutely agree. Although I love my family (my parents really did everything for me) I try to stay away from them as much as I can - so the meetings get more precious and we don´t have time to argue when we see each other only occasionaly Also, my family is a circus, we really are everything but a "normal" family. My parents are separated, now divorcing, my father has a child with another woman, and that´s just a bit of it all. I visit both of my parents and love them still, but I decided to focus on my own life more. They are both adult, so they are the one to deal with it all, it´s not my business.

When I was younger and all the circus started, it was really hard to realize my parents are not perfect super humans I took them for. Once I realized it everything was much easier and our relationship got actually better - more open and adult. But I always try to remember all the good things they did for me.

Freud has an interesting and (for me) true view on families - that those are actually our parents and siblings who cause all our neurosis and misconceptions in our lives they are also those who can cure them. But that is natural, because for the young child, family means everything.
