Eating disorders among sport stars under microscope
THE effect on sport stars of eating disorders - such as bulimia, which Formula One driver David Coulthard said he had suffered from - is to be debated by experts in the Capital.
Specialist care providers The Huntercombe Group have arranged a conference for November 30 at Murrayfield Stadium.
Dr Jennifer Davis, chartered clinical psychologist at The Huntercombe Hospital in Edinburgh, said: "Many people who work or train where body weight is a factor are susceptible to them."
