I have had to let men down because of being complete jerks... I have hung out with men that I wasn't attrative to just to see if they might be someone I could be compatible with in other ways Strange thing is there are completely unattractive men that still can be complete jerks.. You would think they would try a little harder with at least being nice if they have nothing else to sell. There are more people that look at looks before they get to know the person and if you don't have the looks they don't let them have a chance, being a jerk or really annoying will leave anyone lonely.

That's why I wouldn't be offended by anyone telling me that they like me.

I try to be nice to everyone. I think I would tell them that that was very kind of them to take all their guts together and tell me that. But that I liked them only as a friend and sort of was in love myself or something like that...

Sadly, I think your right. Beautiful people can get away with more.... seen that happen. Especially a really attractive person and a horny man, you would be surprised what men do for a beautiful person when they really want them.

I've been wondering this from kind of the different way around. I mean, if I like a guy, and he's out of my league, and somehow he realizes or finds out I like him, does that make him feel disgusted or insulted?

One time, even though it was just a rumor that leaked, there was a guy who was definitely better-looking than me and he thought I liked him. The next day, he treated me like shit and ever since then his friends and crap having been making fun of me AND him behind my back, and to his face.

The issue with me is that I don't think that looks are important, its more to do with whether they were being a gentleman about it, be it from a guy who is super hot or a guy who is disasterously ugly. I would appreciate it if a guy approaches me in a respectful manner and start a nice conversation with me, he also has to be polite. Because then if I am really not that interested I could decline his dinner date in a polite way rather than saying something rude to his face (even though you would probably want to do that if a guy asks you an incredibly crude question so that you can go and get with him..... :yuckky: )
