LMS you´re my hero
thank youuu so much, you know how much I love her ![]()

Check out this comic Jennka - really cool use of physical/lighting/textural effects (Y)
http://www.comicsalliance.com/2012/03/01/m...aper-deadlines/
Whow. This is the most simple and most genious thing I´ve seen in a long time
thank you for that link donny. I´m still amazed. And all you need is a pencil and great mind
Sometimes I feel like I´m craving for some simplicity in this world - everything seems so pre-combined, so difficult... this is like a true gold ![]()

^Yeah, she has a model sister - Poppy. It was more that the family were part of London "society" and were very much in the know, which kind of hinted that the sisters were only models because of being part of that scene... I'm on the very precipice of my knowledge of such matters though so I'll go no further!Ah, so it's like akvavit? A 'homebrew' (or moonshine!).
Red wine, of course, is my preferred poison above all else though...
Oh, I did not know that. So they´re rich and known, right? In that case I understand your scepticism at the beggining... I´d be the same lol. I checked that Poppy thread but got quite bored - however when I watched vids with Cara and hell - she is so genuinly funny that she really got me hooked on ![]()
akvavit... might be. You do not have such thing in UK or Argentina? A home made alcohol with 52% of alcohol? Here it´s called either "slivovica" when it´s made of plums (plum - slivka), or "calvádos" when it´s made from apples, or "marhuľovica" when it´s made from apricots (marhuľa) and so on
When talking about wine, this weekend our neighbour brought a home made cherry-wine. I´m not a wine fan at all but it was quite delicious. What do you think about cherry wine?

Ah, so it's like akvavit? A 'homebrew' (or moonshine!).Red wine, of course, is my preferred poison above all else though...
I take a little vinegar and Hawaiian punch myself
.
vinegar and hawaiian punch? I need an explanation! ![]()
Was that magpie overpopulation by any chance created by the depletion of their natural predators or someone introducing them to a non native habitat? I must admit that squirrels here aren't friendly quite as friendly other places I've been and heard of and are naturally a bit camera shy, but I was able to sneek up on this one with my ninja awesomeness stealth.
I call him, Nut Lover no relation to Fruit Lover of course
.
This is my little Snooki. Obviously my first course of action was to change his name after the emergence of another
but he wouldn't hear of it and won't answer to anything else. He might also be able to do something about that magpie problem I'd think
.
Joe, that last pic... what the hell is that? ![]()
But Nut Lover is lovely ![]()
as for that magpie problem - I do not really know. There are just some years when they are overpopulated and years when there is few of them - I think it depends on the weather, and especially on the winter weather. They´ve always been naturally habitated here in Slovakia, as far as I know. They´re also very clever, as all the crow family members.

Ah well a good old Scotch it shall be, as long as we all get our drink onLOL well, he's the true woods man then, no doubt I would seem like such a girl next to him
No offense once again
Atta girl Jennka, at least your not the type to worry about her nails so much gotta get the hand dirty at times right?
Love those cats, just make sure they take it easy on the bananas
And oh wow
Thx so much for the cottage updates that place is looking absolutely fantastic. The rails turned out amazing, love that style of choice
Lol, yeah
I never worry about my nails - actually their fast growing is quite molesting for me (my hair and my nails grow really fast) because they´re quite impractical when one needs to work
so I just mostly cut them to the lowest length possible (but not absolutely, I still need them to scratch fl´s back lol
). I´m actually fascinated by someone´s interest in "beautiful" nails
I understand if someone takes care about hair, or skin, or teeth, but nails?
I also never wear rings - since my father showed me how much they can hurt when I was 15... never more. I might be the worst consumer, lol - I never buy cosmetics, no make up, no mascara, nothing, I have one shampoo for more than 6 months, I stopped dying my hair 3 years ago... and I only use white vaseline for skin - and cold water. If all the women were like me, fashion world would fall lol.
Thank you so much for the compliment, really
it feels so wonderful to know someone likes it ![]()

Aaawww
thank you hun
those are all so cute!!
This weekend our kittens were especially cuddly - it seems the more they growing up, the more cheeky and cuddly at the same time they get. Marcel is already brave enough to walk in the house, sprawl about right in front of the fire place and look at you like "scratch my belly pleaaasee" ![]()
Too. Damn. Fluffy. :persuazn:

Oh, i love that cute baby Munchkin ![]()
I hope I can get one some day ![]()
I'm in love with this breed, their short legs SO cute ![]()

Has anyone you know tried eating them
? I only ask that when a non poisonous something is overpopulating of course. I don't know what that thing is, I just thought it was funny ![]()
. As to the vinegar thing, I just like drinking it
. I take it you don't
?
I'm glad you like Nut Lover though
. Here are some babies as well that I'll pm you some time. There's this show called "Too Cute!" on the Discovery Channel, Nat Geo or Animal Planetthat you might want to check out or tape some time if you haven't seen it. They focus on a different type of animal every tiem I think.

^I think it's an ABOMINATION!!!akvavit... might be. You do not have such thing in UK or Argentina? A home made alcohol with 52% of alcohol? Ja - no, really, everything has it's place it's just not really 'wine' to me. I mean the process is the same I suppose, but, well... ![]()
Actually, when I went to that wedding in France last year it was in Calvados and we drank a lot of cidre and apple brandy.
Yeah, I can't think of a specific word for homebrew - except "homebrew"! Although that tends to be used more for homemade beers. When I was in Sweden akvavit, and 'snaps', were very common. They tended to be grain alcohols flavoured with dill or caraway - but always around 40/50%... Funnily enough 'slivovitz' was a drink I had a fair bit of in the US. It was on this "Wheel of Fortune" at my local bar - $1 a shot, but you took your chances. That was one of the better ones!
Oh, and I saw this shot of Daria by Cass Bird - you've probably seen it before, but I thought it was nice and you might appreciate it:

As for Cara Delevingne the little princess, her background is rather interesting. Her last name was notable in fashion since the early 1900s. She has a pretty face, and distinctive at that. Her only problem is physical stature and form- she seems to be at a petite 5' 7'' or so.
Her sister, Poppy, is another member of the idle rich. She's famous for attending lots and lots of parties and doing the odd photoshoot. She reminds me of Sienna Miller.
Did I mention the fact that she's an aspiring actress?

She's taller and much more mature looking than her sister. In fact, I'd rightly say that she looks a lot older than her 22 years. She looks older than me, LOL.
BZ
I think Cara is prettier than Emma Watson.
Stella Mc Cartney – FW 12 Paris backstage
BTW, I saw one video of Cara and you're right: She has charisma and presents herself well! Her voice is regal and, judging from pictures alone, completely unexpected !:-D
She seems 'street smart' and rather comfortable. I surmise that Cara understands the situation. She's been positioning herself between Arizona and Karlie recently. Getting photographed with them and so forth. That's how I noticed her. Smart move on her part. ;-D

I go to cinema from time to time, but just like you I have lost the main interest in it three or four years ago. It somehow merges into each other, all these movies. They no more catch my interestthey no more can satisfy my needs nor my questions (besides Disney or fairytales which are my huge weak point). Books, on the other hand, have so much to offer - damn. Recently I started to read Black Holes from John Taylor - an older book but still very valluable because of its content - and Sigmund Freuds´ Psychoanalyses, it opened a whole new universe for me
I have another two books in store - A man who mistook his wife for a hat and An Anthropologist on Mars by Oliver Sacks but at first I need to finish the books I´m recently reading.
The last few books I read were three about investor-centric forensic accounting, a book on failed mergers & acquisitions and two books on organizational structure. The forensic accounting books were pretty exhausting to read but the rest were fun. And I finally started 'thinking fast and slow'.
I really, really recommend this must-read. Do you remember?:

It's valuable and lucidly written. He extracts all the important neuroscience conclusions- his life's work- about fast thinking (intuition) and slow thinking (logic and analysis) and adapted it into a very presentable format. Kahneman and his staff did a great job here. Kahneman's academic papers were always a 'must-read' for decision makers and this just makes gasping his work and thus, behavioral economics, so much easier.
I think you may get more out of this than even Freud, Jennka!
BTW, when do you find time to study, Jennka?

I wondered if you saw 'The Thin Red Line' (also based on a book by a war veteran). It's considered either the best or the third best Malick (former US ivy league academic philosopher) film and a very innovative production by itself.
As for the critical parts of the essayist's bit that I gave you:
The Thin Red Line opens with the image of a crocodile crawling into its lagoon, then a voiceover asking

I don't fully agree with Malick and his themes. But I am aware of the fact that I know little about nature, Jennka. I never learned how to appreciate and value nature. I have spent very little of my life in it. But I am open about it, because it is area that I am ignorant about. There is this line from the film:
Captain: Have you had anybody die in your arms sir? Have you?
Lt. Colonel: ...<>...This has nothing to do with cowardice or inefficiency. ...Look at this Jungle. Look at this jungle. Look at those vines, the way they twine around, swallowing everything. Nature's cruel, Staros.
I agree completely. If you asked me this question when I was an 8 year old boy I would have said the same thing. 'Nature's Cruel'. Even as a little boy I could see selfish nature of others. Some more selfish than me. Some less so. Some had native aptitude. Others had smaller amounts. Some were temperamental, petty, and pathetic. Others were less so. Some were even noble. Then of course, there's that complex, interconnected environment that shapes and molds us independent of our own decisions.
'Nature' more often than not, robs humans of light, knowledge, and life. I believe this.
And I don't see wars as an act of self-destruction or a failure to communicate, Jennka. I see some as high risk social responsibility and an integral component of the painful evolutionary process of humanity. What is the goal of human evolution? I believe that it is self-actualization, self improvement, and productive achievement. It would be ideal for the leading nations- with the most powerful weapons and organizations...to 'manage' humanity and intelligent life towards a better direction. Just a principal, rather than a reality, that I believe in.
So I don't blame people for 'trying' or 'dying' for it.
As for nature, I have little positive impressions of it. I don't think that..outside of its capacity to serve man...that it's worth a single penny. Neither nature nor animal or plant life.
What should be preserved and fostered are human lives worth living and that alone. And most important than 'life'- the lives left standing must be worth living. You know, when you talk about how happy you feel in the wilderness- ...I must say that I feel the same way. But I have felt this only when I am surrounded by skyscrapers blotting out the sky...
