Jennka, the list of books that I have but haven't read is so very long..
mine is extending further every month
now I´m reading Dawkins´ God Delusion, then I have three biographies in list - Darwin, Freud and Tesla, then it´s the Origin of Species from Darwin nesting in my kindle, then Freud´s Moses and Monotheism, and also some new Pratchett
too many books to read. I´m also currently reading Harry Potter y la piedra filosofal, to improve my Spanish. I think I´m really addicted to books.
Magdelena, Frida G., and Edita have been posing a lot for VS recently. That's unexpected. And I think Jessica Hart was finally edged out by Elsa Hosk.
Nastya Zhidkikh is a recent favorite. She is new:

She reminds me of Nimue. She's a truly angelic beauty! Love her face. Prettier than Frida (who is gorgeous) IMHO..
Just Cavalli f/w 2013 - Milan
Nastasya looks like a fairy, she could be easily mistaken for an elf ![]()
Also about exercise- my personal trainer told me years ago that there's no way of losing body fat % by doing sit-ups or targeting specific muscles. All that achieves is a bigger, harder muscle in that area but the 'fat' coating doesn't wear thin.
One has to do a lot of cardio and a person's body-fat distribution is mostly genetically determined. He's right in my experience. Some people tend to store more fat on the belly, some on the thighs, etc, etc. The best cardio is exhaustive swimming in order to eliminate it all.
I do not exercise to lose body fat. I want to strenghten my body and stay fit, and gain some muscles as well. I enjoy exercising immensely, it´s a real fun for me and feel great during it, and after it even more. I also plan to start running once it´s warmer here, and I walk a lot and eat less
I just enjoy the whole process, feel better and more fit.
And I really need to gain more streght.
How would you guys react if you got a massive bear as a gift? Personally, I'd love it and I'd love to see the reaction of the person receiving it. But after the fireworks are over, there comes the problem of storage...
I thought that was a dream of every girl? To obtain such a great plushy bear... at least I dreamed about it for my whole childhood and even now would jump 5 meters high if someone gave me such thing ![]()

I stumbled upon this and had to share...this you as a child by any chance Jennka?

LOL
no, not really ![]()
I never told anyone about unicorns
I just secretly wished they existed
I also treated my plushy animals as though they were real animals, playing with each of them regularly, so they won´t get the feeling of being abandoned
I once had this book about plushy toys getting alive at night, so from time to time I pretended to be sleeping, and sneaking upon them to catch them in act
they never moved
but I still loved them anyway ![]()
btw, like two weeks ago we went to a cinema with fl, and while having sime free time till the movie started, we entered into the Dracik toy store, where I found "toys for discount" becasue they were damaged in one way or another. I bought one little plushy bear for 2€ which head was 3/4 torn off, sew it at home, we called it Vincent and now he sits on our fridge
silly little things that can made my day ![]()

Ha, nice
No pain no gain! Well hopefully those YouTube videos help as there are a myriad of options to choose from so I guess it's just a matter of finding something that works for you. Just be careful not to overdue it and injure yourself.
I have tried another 3 types of exercise, and I like them
pain is still there, but not as strong as before. I also went hiking a little bit on Saturday, it was a pleasant 3-hours long trip to a place called Sakrakopec, where a plane crashed in 1966. If only it wasn´t so freezing, damn. Sun was shining, so I thought it´s gonna be great, but the wind was still strong and when I came home, I was really cold!
Mhmm, that's a huge factor, the ocean. But the mountains, valleys also play a huge role on why certain areas can feel like a blistering summer day and others are socked in by fog. And as far as normal temps for this time of they year, we should be around 20-22 C I would say. Anymore snow today?
Oh, and check this out! I finally was able to capture video of my city in my game Simcity now that the servers are stable. Here is a look at my city called Cliffside. Try and spot the trams
Oh! Those vids are really impressive - and trams, yay!
can you post more of your city? I really like the overall view, the graphic is amazing.

No, it´s Martina Valkova
I thought she quitted modeling but it seems she´s in again - and she really IS a candyeye ![]()

I´ve read that she´s already 36! She doesn´t look like that age, does she? ![]()

That's good to hear, I'm glad everything's starting to work out for you.
Still going strong, thanks!
Spring seems to have pulled a fast one as we’ve got yet another thin dusting of snow on the ground at the moment. I’m starting to take it personally actually, whatever strange and random weather conditions we get always seem to hit on Tuesdays, which is the only day of the week that I regularly have to use a car.
Did you ever get the chance to see those new Red Dwarfs (Dwarves?)?
Noo, hell, but glad you do remind me. I will try today! Now I´m absolutely hooked on watching Fraser, Friends, The Bing Bang Theory, reading Harry Potter in Spanish to practice, and Dawkins´ God Delusion, and as I finally have some more time for myself (as fl is working), I started to exercise once again, which I take great pleasure in
so many things to do.
Do you anything about this new Red Dwarf series DVD, Michael?
As for the snow, I´ll tell you something. On Monday and Tuesday fl gave me a ride to my work, the weather was sunny, warm. On Wednesday I had to go via tran and on feet, so why not screw the weather? It got pretty cold, but it was still bearable to walk in. Today?? It started to snow and the wind was so freezing that when I finally entered my work, I could not feel my thights. Of course, Friday is gonna be the same and (again) I have to travel to work on my own
fl offered me a ride this morning, but hell, it´s way too indirect roundabout for him that I could permit.
So you usually do not use a car?
No, not usually, I always use public transport to get to work and walk everywhere else, but I’m taking an evening class at the local college for the next ten weeks and it’s a bit further afield, so I have to drive. I passed my test years ago, but haven’t driven much since, so I’m partially using the course as motivation to get more practice. ![]()
Oh wow, I must have watched every ‘Big Bang Theory’ episode at least half a dozen times. There are endless re-runs on TV over here, but it never seems to get old. Wouldn’t it be just great, not to actually be Sheldon, but to live life so completely on your own terms as he does? I actually like some of the t-shirts he wears too, but I don't think you're really supposed to. ![]()
The next Red Dwarf series is already being written, I know that, and that the DVD for ‘X’ is out now. Quite honestly, I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. The old ones are still my favourites, but the newest stuff is definitely Red Dwarf in its purest form, just the crew and the ship in deep space with only lager and curry to get them by. Lister's fatherly messages to himself were pure gold. ![]()
^Cara is fast becoming the UK’s biggest crossover celebrity/model since the great Agyness Deyn explosion of 2008. If rumours are to be believed, she’s even about to embark on a singing career. I think I’m still on the fence, though. She’s very striking, but I haven’t yet felt compelled to ‘get on board’, as it were.
Whoa, so really? How does the popularity look like exactly? I´m very curious. We don´t have anything like that here in Slovakia.
I also heard something about the singing carieer. And acting as well. I wish she sticked to modeling... once she starts to sing or act, we´ve lost her
So you´re not really convinced by her?
I'm sort of getting there, but very gradually.
She's definitely doing well for herself though - you wouldn't necessarily know her name if you weren't a close follower of pop culture but you'd know her face. She's in pretty much any UK magazine or newspaper you’d care to pick up at the moment, plus 'best dressed' lists, many a billboard ad (H & M, Burberry, you name it!) and plastered all over high street shop windows. ![]()

I have an immense collection of books that I've never read. Just off the top of my head- and of course, what I want to read next will change.
April 23 release; Kharkov 1942: The Wehrmacht strikes back
I'm definitely going to read this 100-page executive summary of this great battle. The author is a military expert that uses all of the best sources available and I've learned much from his writings. He possesses a high standard of objectivity/analysis and thinks like an armored military strategist (which he once was, actually).
Psychology
Thinking Fast & Slow. My goodness, I read 1/2 of it in 2011 but never got around to finishing the second 1/2. When I finish it, I will have to fast read the first 1/2 again.
On Innovation:
-The innovator's solution, Seeing What's Next
-The Innovator's Prescription- Book on the health care industry structure and its defects.
As of late, I've been skimming the headlines of old barron's weekly (investment weekly) from 2004- onward. I'm up to 2010 right now, which is well into the financial and economic disaster that fell on myself and everybody else in the US.
There was that day in October 2008 where 17% of the Stock market's value evaporated after a congressional transaction. It's good to go back and refresh myself with the outline of old financial journalism so I can be reminded of its lessons. With knowledge of the future, I now get to see what calls in those years failed and what succeeded.
The tone of Barron's was monstrously optimistic in 2004-2006. More cautious/moderate until the summer of 2007. And then gradually more and more pessimistic and wary. This sorrow reaches a high point in the autumn of 2008 and does not subside until the spring of 2009.

Nastasya looks like a fairy, she could be easily mistaken for an elfI love that look. So few women really pull it off like she can, though. So Nimue is the elf and Nastasya is a fairy? You're right.

So did I. So you never got one? I never did, either. A few years ago, I won a giant panda bear at a carnival game and I smiled ear to ear the whole day. A lost dream fulfilled, I guess....

You don't know what M.F. stands for
? I like your taste in herbs
. They taste amazing, smell great, can heal, enhance memory and have countless culinary uses. I love tarragon, basil, coriander and several others too as I imagine you do as well (that is loving others even if not those). What I wanted to say though was how difficult would you say the Slovakian language was to learn? Admittedly, it wouldn't have the most practical application in my day to day life seeing as how the few people I know from there all speak English and I wouldn't have many opportunities to use it, but I am looking to learn some new languages. My first new conquests were Polish and Chinese, but I found them somewhat difficult somehow ![]()

Sorry for replaying too late, Lay
Yes, fl had a fruit/vegetables stall, but it did not go well, so he ended the business. That was... hell, almost 5 years ago! He spent most of his saving on that stall
not a good choice, but afterall, the stall contributed a lot to our relationship rolling on, so afterall... one just has to admit that everything bad is good for something
Lol
now that would be worth a kick in the ass, wouldn´t it
but fortunately, he´s employed! I´m so happy for it. He even seems to like his job, which is even better!

Most posts only get one or two comments but it's good to know someone finds the post interesting enough to comment even if it's only one person. This post sparked of an interesting exchange though.
That was a pretty story and well-written article at that
and a nice discussion, never knew that wearing saree can be so dificult and complicated! It seems like an art itself! Tell me more about that, Tran, if you may ![]()
