I suppose that you don't like Cara?
What is immediately apparent is how much shorter she is than other models...![]()
I liked Cara (called her lil' princess) when she first appeared on the scene but unfortunately I tired of her modeling quick..(not enough range). And she does silly faces too much. I heard from Baron that she is heavily promoted in the UK style scene for some reason. (?)

But lots of attractive women do that. What did she do to brand herself and get singled out? Do you know? It's clear that she has received a lot of help. ![]()

*For some reason: --->that's what I wanted to write then I couldn't edit the post.
Hmm I guess social media helped her?

I've known her for a long time Mahi. I'd rather not sugar coat it- she's lost some interest in the forum like Baron did. It's only natural and inevitable. I've also been finding this forum to be less fun than it used to be, and my interest in models has matured & moved past its peak :-/
We all reach this moment of boredom in particular times,I know other known members here who told me also that they lost part of their interest in BZ,to each his reason. As for me I lost interest somehow lately, but for some reasons related to my kind of posts,I only like fashion when it comes to styles not the models at all,I only look at the clothes and designs and love all models and don't prefer ones over ones, but the forum isn't about styles and clothes,it's particularly about models themselves.
Loyal members, such as you,Jennka , Baron and others [i love BZ too]always find their way back and work it out ,never give up hope in BZ and never stop loving it,BZ is like home as I and Jennka previously expressed.

Per your request, I'll write down my review of the 21 hour audiobook for 'Thinking Fast and Slow' .
.
+ A Must Read- it essentially summarizes and simplifies his life's work for the general, non PhD in psychology audience. All humans should read this or be familiar with its research conclusions.
+ About 30 aspects of intuition- most centered on judgement, statistical thinking, logical errors, false perceptions, etc.
+ A unique read/listening experience- Most of us have never read a book about how intuition works.
+ I knew about 50% of it and a lot was common sense explained. But for myself and many readers, it must have been the first time they've seen it in organized writing and backed by many scientific studies.
+/- Kahneman's work is much of the foundations of the field of 'Behavioral Economics'. Personally, I'm not too impressed with this young branch of economics as it hasn't produced much research that is useful. Most of it sums up to 'good to know' advice. A lot of their insights revolve around mass behavior in the economy and financial markets.
+/- He won the Nobel Prize for prospect theory, and it only gets one brief chapter. He doesn't go much into why it was chosen and why it was important.
+/- It's not his fault that his explanations get weighty and dry sometimes.
- It's almost like a quasi-textbook/book so it's bloated with nonessential information about his scientific experiments.
- The PDF is 430 pages, and I'm guessestimating that about 100 pages could have been edited out.
- There is little mention of evolutionary psychology, and how it relates to human intuition. If he would bridge the psychological experiments with genetic programming, then much of his research conclusions would appear less clinical.
-When Kahneman comments occasionally about financial, management judgement, and business behavior, he runs on the edges of his circle of competence.

TFS is more about fashion trends, styles, clothes, designers, etc. and I find their 'femmes' forum to be a good source of new material (like BZ). But there is little warmth in that forum- everybody posts from their phones, and most of comments have no personality, are irrelevant anonymous opinions, or are excessively 'serious' about things of little interest to me. I couldn't care less if this or that model will serve this or that brand, designer, or fashion ideology better- even if I was a shareholder of that particular interest.
...so that's why I have zero posts there.

Fundamentally speaking, I like tall, thin, and very beautiful women exquisitely photographed in artistic settings and the HF world does attract many of these women & associated resources. I still maintain this interest, although there is a lack of 'new beauties' to me (which is natural, since I've been interested in models for almost 3 years).
For instance, I have Frida G's, Dewi Driegen, Catherine McNeil, Madison Headrick, and a few others' threads bookmarked this month so I'm still consistent. ![]()

No, not usually, I always use public transport to get to work and walk everywhere else, but I’m taking an evening class at the local college for the next ten weeks and it’s a bit further afield, so I have to drive. I passed my test years ago, but haven’t driven much since, so I’m partially using the course as motivation to get more practice.
Oh wow, I must have watched every ‘Big Bang Theory’ episode at least half a dozen times. There are endless re-runs on TV over here, but it never seems to get old. Wouldn’t it be just great, not to actually be Sheldon, but to live life so completely on your own terms as he does? I actually like some of the t-shirts he wears too, but I don't think you're really supposed to.
The next Red Dwarf series is already being written, I know that, and that the DVD for ‘X’ is out now. Quite honestly, I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. The old ones are still my favourites, but the newest stuff is definitely Red Dwarf in its purest form, just the crew and the ship in deep space with only lager and curry to get them by. Lister's fatherly messages to himself were pure gold.
So how is the experience with driving going by now?
better now?
So you´re a BBT fan? Great to know! I love Sheldon´s T-shirts too lol. He´s also so amazingly straight-forward-in-your-face and so reminds me of myself in way too many social interactions
glad to see there´s actually someone even worse than me when it comes to this
I seriously love their world. I guess one part of me is kinda nerdish in this sense because I would immensely enjoy almost every activity they mostly do. I´m not a scientist, though.
As I wrote you in your thread, I have finally seen the Red Dwarf X series!
And I just could not be more thrilled about it! I enjoyed it so much, and Lister´s fatherly messages to himself made me laugh like for half an hour
have you seen the deleted scenes from Lemons episode?
LOL!
I'm sort of getting there, but very gradually.
She's definitely doing well for herself though - you wouldn't necessarily know her name if you weren't a close follower of pop culture but you'd know her face. She's in pretty much any UK magazine or newspaper you’d care to pick up at the moment, plus 'best dressed' lists, many a billboard ad (H & M, Burberry, you name it!) and plastered all over high street shop windows.
Hmm she seems to be establishing herself quite well! I haven´t checked her thread recently at all - no time ![]()

Some pics first
Holey wow, I had no idea her eyes were this blue
Her eyes are amazing, aren´t they? ![]()

And on a side note, I just love the bear story
![]()
Oh, nice to hear ![]()
and all those pics are pretty impressive, Dave. How much time does it consume? Is it difficult to build it all?

Hell I´m so late. Thank you ![]()

I have an immense collection of books that I've never read. Just off the top of my head- and of course, what I want to read next will change.
April 23 release; Kharkov 1942: The Wehrmacht strikes back
I'm definitely going to read this 100-page executive summary of this great battle. The author is a military expert that uses all of the best sources available and I've learned much from his writings. He possesses a high standard of objectivity/analysis and thinks like an armored military strategist (which he once was, actually).
Psychology
Thinking Fast & Slow. My goodness, I read 1/2 of it in 2011 but never got around to finishing the second 1/2. When I finish it, I will have to fast read the first 1/2 again.
On Innovation:
-The innovator's solution, Seeing What's Next
-The Innovator's Prescription- Book on the health care industry structure and its defects.
As of late, I've been skimming the headlines of old barron's weekly (investment weekly) from 2004- onward. I'm up to 2010 right now, which is well into the financial and economic disaster that fell on myself and everybody else in the US.
There was that day in October 2008 where 17% of the Stock market's value evaporated after a congressional transaction. It's good to go back and refresh myself with the outline of old financial journalism so I can be reminded of its lessons. With knowledge of the future, I now get to see what calls in those years failed and what succeeded.
The tone of Barron's was monstrously optimistic in 2004-2006. More cautious/moderate until the summer of 2007. And then gradually more and more pessimistic and wary. This sorrow reaches a high point in the autumn of 2008 and does not subside until the spring of 2009.
Andy, can you explain to me what actually caused the huge economic disaster?
And interesting list of books. As I wrote you, please don´t forget to keep me informed about the Innovator´s Prescription ![]()
I love that look. So few women really pull it off like she can, though. So Nimue is the elf and Nastasya is a fairy? You're right.
![]()
They posses this very ethereal kind of beauty, like they could dissapear if the wind blows too strongly - like a fairytale
I too love that kind of look.
How are you going to gain more strength?
For now I´m trying to operate with my own weight (which is not very little, mind you) - I would love to have stronger arms and to be able to lift myself up - so I´m doing these... how would you call them, when I hang in the air, holding on a bar and trying to "pull" myself up only by using the strength of my hands? We call it "zdvih" by I have no idea how does the english word look like.
Also another one, that you often see in movies with army attendants in it - you "lay" on the ground, with your legs together, and you´re trying to lift yourself up using your arms, and then down, but not to touch the ground, and up, down, up, down, again and again
I love that exercise.
What else? I usually do various kinds of sit-ups or exercise with legs.
So did I. So you never got one? I never did, either. A few years ago, I won a giant panda bear at a carnival game and I smiled ear to ear the whole day. A lost dream fulfilled, I guess....
Oh, that must had been wonderful, I can absolutely imagine how did you feel at that time
and no, I never really got mine. I got some older huge plushy animals like this elephant I loved, but never the one dreamy plushy bear I always dreamed about

You don't know what M.F. stands for
? I like your taste in herbs
. They taste amazing, smell great, can heal, enhance memory and have countless culinary uses. I love tarragon, basil, coriander and several others too as I imagine you do as well (that is loving others even if not those). What I wanted to say though was how difficult would you say the Slovakian language was to learn? Admittedly, it wouldn't have the most practical application in my day to day life seeing as how the few people I know from there all speak English and I wouldn't have many opportunities to use it, but I am looking to learn some new languages. My first new conquests were Polish and Chinese, but I found them somewhat difficult somehow
M.F.? No
enlighten me!
Herbs are amazing. Recently I have made myself a tea from dandelion´s leaves and it tasted great ![]()
As for the Slovak language... that is a hard question Joe. For me as a native speaker it´s hard to tell if it´s difficult to learn or not. I guess every language is hard to learn when you´re not a language freak and especially hard when you do not live in the country at least for a year. Not impossible, mind you, just hard.
If I were you - I read that you speak Spanish, Japanesse, Greek? So why not improving those you know (like learning the Japanesse alphabet) and then maybe you could conquer some language that is used more widely than Slovak, like French or Russian or Italian or Portuguesse?

Hey Jennka, the fav female movie character comp is up again and taking noms...If you care to nominate anybody?
http://www.bellazon..../page__st__2640
The fav male movie character comp too:
I´m sorry
I did miss it, didn´t I? These are some crazy times I´m experiencing recently in work.

Haha, I did the same thing with my stuffed animals. I blame disney for all of this...........
I never told anyone about unicorns
I just secretly wished they existed
I also treated my plushy animals as though they were real animals, playing with each of them regularly, so they won´t get the feeling of being abandoned
I once had this book about plushy toys getting alive at night, so from time to time I pretended to be sleeping, and sneaking upon them to catch them in act
they never moved
but I still loved them anyway
Stormbringer was kind enough to post 3 Ale galleries!
So many pics, so many memories
thank you!!
Oh, so you did the same? HA! I´m not a total freak afterall, it seems it was normal to assume such tendency ![]()

^I like!
I´ve read that she´s already 36! She doesn´t look like that age, does she?
Are you serious? She's gorgeous. Definitely see why she'd be donbot's type
Oh yeah, she looks pretty amazing. It´s a shame she did not get bigger while being younger!

Sorry for replying late too. I had a long break in posting and I may start posting again here, but definitely not as often as I used to.
Congrats! There's no better job than the one that makes you happy, makes you do what you love doing, right? Do what you love and you'll love what you do, or something like that haha.
Hm, I guess we do not need anymore to excuse ourselves from replying late ![]()
My life is such a mess recently.
Ah, I see
Do you like smoking? Because some people I know say they'd quit million other things but not smoking, as they like it too much.
I like smoking - it´s a kind of habit when relaxing or being angry too much - it does not help, but the fresh air does its thing and cleares my head a little. Sometimes I can go for a whole day without a single cigarette, it all depends on the occassion. When I drink, I smoke - that´s a rule. But I have experienced drinking without smoking several times and it was ok as well. I can imagine I´d quit smoking when I feel like it - I don´t feel the need for a cigarette, nor am I nervous when I do not smoke. I guess I´m only waiting for the occassion to stop ![]()
There is this black comedian Loni Love who frequently appears in the talk show I watch called "Chelsea Lately" and she said "you white women get wasted and faint so often while drinking cause you don't eat" or something similar. I think the discussion started from something fast-food related? Anyway, I see she's got a point. I know people who visited Ukraine and they said they had so much fat and slowly-digestive foods that NOT drinking alcohol can cause problems.
Yeah, alcohol can help to digest, that´s for sure - experienced
the thing with drinking alcohol is that before you start, you have to eat (at least an hour before) something greasy and fat, it helps hell a lot. Exprienced too
it´s not very healthy, but it helps you not to get drunk so quick and one does feel better in the morning.
If somebody asked me if I lead a healthy lifestyle, I really don't know what I would say. I guess I fall for 'healthy' category more. I, just like you, take stairs; don't like elevators and rarely use them. I even use stairs when I visit my friend who lives on the 10th floor... I don't visit her too often though
I drink green tea almost everyday. I don't smoke, don't drink coffee (don't like it). I get fair amount of sleep. I can't remember the last time I ate fast food. Then again, I don't always eat 5 meals, I eat too little, I eat a lot of chocolate. I don't exercise regularly
I want to start swimming at least once a week. Of course I could do that all year long, but when you see the weather, and then think it would take more time getting ready to go AFTER swimming-blow-drying hair etc than the swimming itself I lose motivation. In summer you can go out with wet hair and nothing happens and now... glad it's getting warmer. Not a real spring yet but weather forecasts say in a week it's gonna be +20
Oh yes, we´re experiencing some summer days here as well! So glad the warm weather is back again ![]()
I think you live healthy enough from what I see. I don´t drink coffee either, never got the taste of it. And love love green tea!!

That's good, I'm definitely like these 'other women' then
I shower 2 times a day so when I go somewhere where there's no warm water I feel weird haha. Plus, when you live in the city, don't you feel like you're doing others the favor by showering? I don't know how it is in Slovakia, but many people here have serious problems with hygiene :| I 'get' it when people come back from work-it's expected that not everyone will be 'fresh', especially in summer. But when you use public transport in the morning, and during winter you can smell people before you see them
oh my, arguments about bills don't work. One can take a really quick shower. Besides, how long does it take to refresh yourself? Seriously.
I guess I´m the weird one here ![]()
As far as the public transport goes, I mostly experience very heavy perfumes more than bad smell (and it´s very hard for me to cope with the perfumes, once I had to go out of the tram because I was getting way too sick. I needed to breathe deeply for like 2 minutes before I was able to get in again). And as you write, it is natural for people to smell worse when they leave work, but for now it´s not been very tragic. I agree with you that a quick shower is the easiest thing to do, so I don´t understand why some people won´t take it, especially in the morning ![]()
Hmm there were maybe 2 or 3 lip products I bought 2 or 3 times, I like to use different ones each time. For the brand I like, I'd say NIVEA's lipsticks are really good. Too bad they don't produce a new lipstick for each season as they used to, or that some are not regulars. I still remember their peach and banana ones
NIVEA's got nice smell and leave a natural color or a bit of tint
depending on the model you chose. Maybelline is another one I like, and their coloured lipsticks leave a strong colour for a long time. AVON's last a bit less but are also good. There are of course other brands I use/used to use but those 3 are probably the ones I take most often.
I feel like such late bloomer with cosmetics-recently I bought a lash curler (very cheap, otheriwse I probably still wouldn't have it) and it really makes a difference. My eyelashes don't leave smudges on glasses anymore, as they sometimes would.
You keep it simple, don´t you? I like it ![]()

I´ll see to other posts later, I promise ![]()

Thank you for replying ![]()

What's funny is that I like the smell of coffee, I like coffee cakes as well but the coffee itself is too much for me.
As for the weather, it's soo good
no need to take a jacket when leaving home, and if you take one you regret it cause there's no use for it
unfortunately now that I look outside the window a strom is coming and I should be leaving my house for about 2 hours... don't wanna
it's warm but I think it might be raining, plus I don't feel like being outside during storms, I can already see flashes ![]()
Healthy enough? It could always be better! Fortunately, I have been to swimming pool 2 times already this month. And I am considering buying rollerblades-I have an old pair but it's not good anymore. Plus, there's this cool thing in my city, from what I know it exists in other foreign cities, too; it's called Nightskating and basically it means that on Thursdays, ever 2 weeks between April and August (or so, I'd have to check the website) there is a tour for people who want to skate at night on the streets
it goes for about 2 hours? From 9 PM or so. Once I was coming home by bus around 10 PM and saw this huge group of people skating, with police escorting and so on
it's not like we even experience traffic at night but particular streets are 'closed' for cars and buses for several minutes so people can safely skate on them
when I happened to observe this I think the bus couldn't drive for 10 or 15 minutes!
yeah, I definitely want to participate in that at least once but I better train for that, 2 hours is quite a lot. Fortunately there are nice places for skating.
As far as the public transport goes, I mostly experience very heavy perfumes more than bad smell (and it´s very hard for me to cope with the perfumes, once I had to go out of the tram because I was getting way too sick. I can also understand elderly people-they already have problems with moving and walking so showering may not be a 5 minute thing for them. BUT when I see young people smelling bad... that's inexcusable. Once I was in a bus with my mum and behind us was a young man, sitting with some girl. I guess they could be around 25, maybe younger. Anyway, one could smell that he didn't care for his 'personal hygiene' ![]()
so gross, and then I said to my mum: and I bet this guy expects this girl to blow him. Lmao.
Yes, I do ![]()
DAMN, such a big flash appeared and now it's pouring rain so heavily some people from the public transport could go out and have a free shower by nature
to leave or not to leave my house, that is a question.
