Sounds like tomato gazpacho is right up your alley then, wouldn’t last more than a day or two it sounds like too

Oh I completely understand where you are coming from in terms of the house situation and having everyone and thing lined up for you to move forward. But as long as you set it as your goal with persistence in mind you shall be there in no time at all

As far as us goes, all is going fairly well here. Other then a slight sprain to my right ankle everything is very peachy so far We actually saw a house here not long ago but after a bit of digging on the house info we came to realize it had heavy termite damage and asbestos issues I swear, new construction is ideal but can't say the same on the price

He generally posts more during the NBA season. If you're looking for more books in Spanish, there are some good ones in the 'magical realism' genre. It is good that you read multiple books at once. That's great brain exercise . This is surprising to hear about the height thing since you all have a taller average height for both males and females. I guess it is just that then, the average whereas we have a lot of extremes. There are a lot of men under 5'5 and women well under that and a lot of men over 6'7 and women over 6'4 on the other hand. Actually, the average Chinese man is like 5'5 whereas the tallest basketball player is like 7'9 and is Chinese on the other hand. The NBA is somewhat strange in that they have so many that are so tall and so athletic at the same time though. Most people that tall in regular life aren't particularly athletic.

Speaking of countries, strangely enough, your country played a part in my initial quest to learn geography (independent of where animals are from). When I was a kid, I would hear people say, 'Chekaslovakia' and I was like 'what the heck is that?' One woman said, 'yeah, that's that pretty little wife of his from Checkdaslovakia somewhere.' It was after reading that I found out what they were trying to say. Strangely enough, some still say that even though its been gone for 20 some odd years now .

That Bredje has really grown on me as a side note. I can't believe she's Dutch though. I just knew she was Belarusian. There's something about her that makes it hard to stop looking at her . Its somewhat like the feeling I get from looking at a really weird looking model but with attraction mixed in at the same time.

Up is a wonderful movie.

The opening 10 minutes or so is equally beautiful and heartbreaking.. gets me every time

I love how most of that sequence, like much of Wall-E, was done without any dialogue.

Can't remember if I've posted any of Pogo's videos in here before, but you might like this one

I think I am yesterday I had my first Russian lesson, lol. It was very educative and funny, I´m glad I chose this professor as she´s trully a great person, and a great teacher full of energy though she´s quite older, she makes fun all the time and is also very intelligent and educated. I´m looking forward to next lessons! And also to learn azbuka, oh my!!

How are you? I´ve seen your pics on FB - all of them look great!!

Thanks, I had a jaunt over to the Lake District and stayed in a cottage in Hawkshead for the week. Lots of walking, lots of great views and some really lovely birds and animals nearby. I have some more photos lying around somewhere, I'll post a few if and when I can find them.

You're learning Russian? Wow, that's pretty great. Rather challenging too, I'd imagine. I used to be really interested in the Russian language and culture when I was younger, and always wanted to visit. I'd kind of forgotten about it until watching some of the Athletics Championships in Moscow on TV recently, which reawakened my fancy for going.

Where does he post? Only in sports section?

He usually takes part in our BZ Fantasy Football League, but we haven't seen him this year.

Gazpacho is that cold tomato soup, right? Because we do something similar in Slovakia, but it´s a warm soup with rise in it. Fls´mother did it this weekend - I ate it all in one day

I hope so I´m still thinking about it a lot, considering various scenarios, prices, opportunities... it´s a huge thing to get involved in, so one has to think it thoroughly.

You never thought about building your own new house instead of buying one already built? Or would it be even more pricy?

Mhmm that's the one! Oh my that sounds absolutely delicious I don't blame you for finishing off the pot I would of done the same

Best to take your time so you don't look back and have a huge list of "what if's". Soon you shall be looking back at all the hassles and just patting yourself on the back at a job well done

To be honest such a thing isnt common in the US, most people tend to buy either new construction via a home builder or old construction. Not often you hear first time home owners purchasing a plot for a build. Would be nice though since one can choose and eye out the whole process and determine what materials to be used for the home, now as far as price goes that’s a hard one to say since it’s all dependent on the homeowners choices, so yes and no We have been eyeing out “fixer uppers” more that can easily be flipped around in a few short weeks that way we can negotiate a lower price. I'm fairly good about prices for materials so I can easily work with that and have connections with contractors that I know due to Jen's dad so money wise that is our best bet since we can drop down the price and save a crap load on labor and materials. Only drawback is living around construction for a few weeks And you know how dangerous that is for one reason at the moment.

P.S. I love your new set

Oh, and here are my favs from your 2 sets

Do you like Cara, Michael? She seems to get lots of hate from ordinary people out of fashion interest.

Post them, please! Who does that cottage belong to? Btw I´m recently reading a biography on Charles Darwin from Irwing Stone, and he describes the English country a lot - not only it feels romantic but it makes me wanna pack my bags and run to those places

Have you ever considered learning the language? Or you already know it?

I´m very glad for our teacher, she is super-cool, rather older lady but hell, what a ball of energy she is. Very educated, intelligent, funny. For now, I enjoy learning the language and also azbuka, lol it´s a slow process but indeed funny. It´s almost like painting or speaking in hieroglyphics though, it´s a wonderful writing

I wish I could say it was mine, but sadly not, it was just a holiday cottage we found online. I’ll have to try and gather the rest of my photos together soon, before I forget about them, as they're spread over various cameras and memory cards. You guys have some pretty nice countryside in Slovakia too though, don't you?

The Russian alphabet always looks so cool to me, and I really like the way the language sounds when it's spoken. I know a few words, but I'm not sure if speaking it fluently is something I could ever really master. Glad you're enjoying it though.

I'm sort of getting there on Cara, but slowly. She's definitely doing well for herself in the UK at the moment, I haven’t seen a model garner so much attention from the mainstream media since the great Agyness Deyn explosion of '08. Also, further to the video of Cara showing some musical talent (which I think would make a fine addition to Joe's female musicians thread ), I was wondering if you’d seen this vid of Gisele doing a bit of singing?

Glad you like the pics!! I almost saved every one of Marloes´ personal pictures, her natural beauty is out of this world, damn.

And thank you do you like the UP movie?

I can´t simply resist any tomato meal, it´s a passion

Trully hope so this dream comes true. To have my own home, sharing it with FL, and a house, that´s something we´ve been dreaming about for like 5 years. For now, nothing is happening, I still have to meet my father and due to our busy schedules it´s a pretty tough job.

But you have the benefit of living with parents, so that means a stabile home during building your own house. The modern eco-friendly houses are built very quickly, mostly from 3 to 5 weeks, which is amazing if you ask me (of course it takes much longer when you decide to built it up on your own). I think it´s worth considering, especially when you have such connections

He posts in the Klum thread too . He's a prompt pm responder if you want to sent him one though. I could recommend Volver and The Devil's Backbone maybe, but I actually don't like that many Spanish movies since most of the one's I've seen are soap opera types . She may not be as conventionally 'perfect' as some, but I love her face and wouldn't change anything from it. That is true that she can get you with her eyes and lovely form and I love her lips too. I'll definitely check out more of her work . How are the Russian classes coming . Speaking of Russian, I'm looking for a composer with a really long name that starts with R and ends with two fs. I loved the song, but I saw the name from really away and couldn't make it out.

Yes, we have I love our nature, because you get a bit of everything - we have High Tatras (mountains), Low Tatras (smaller mountains, lots of valleys), lots of forests and also places like our cottage is situated in called lazy (lazy small hills with forest from time to time, but mostly covered by grass and fields). So you really can choose. I also love to go hiking to the Moravian Region, they also have amazingly wonderful nature (and great beer )

England, from the sight of it, and from what I´ve heard and seen in various documentaries, is different, and fascinating.

I´m slowly learning to write how is it with learning languages in the place you live? It is considered common?

Thank you for the vid I have seen it, but had no time to watch it really, so I finally got to it now! I really like it Gisele has pretty voice (smooth) so it sounds nice in the song. Of course she´s not aspiring for a singer, but it´s beautiful still. What do you think?

Marloes really is a beauty outside our realm of understanding!

Yessery, I did enjoy that movie quite a bit here As a matter of fact here is something that will tickle your fancy, life imitating art?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4cz7tYoMw4E

Well once again I wish you the best in your endeavors hun Things will eventually work out.

Oh indeed, words alone can't express how thankful I am that the in-laws still have us living with them to this day. Not sure what the hell we would do with out them that's for sure. Well the thing is, the building codes here along with issuing permits can be a pain in the ass so that alone is what would be a huge deterrent for some since it can be overwhelming to get the house in order so to speak. Oh well, we shall keep searching and see what else we find and interests us.

Lol at the vid!! looks perfect!

Oh, the building codes and all the byroucracy around it is what scares me already

Marloes looks like a real life princess, doesn´t she?
