Doesn't sound bad to me. Actually, I was thinking it takes up quite a bit of space too. I just forgot about that once I started using the "end" key
.
Hey folks, I've been off for a while, sorry I left without a note, I swear it won't happen again ![]()
Am back again now ![]()
That said, I want to make clear that both Lu making COP a thread as well as him making a thread not long after receiving a warning was a surprise to me and done totally without my knowledge or consent. Were any of you asked? COP is one of my favorite members, but I don't care for the prospect of a trend of members just starting threads randomly without consulting anyone.
No, I haven't been asked either.
I didn't know members could start a thread without the aid of a mod. I don't think it's a good thing if everyone is allowed to start threads. As I got it, it's a very special treat.
Well, while I'm at it...Would anyone object to me making an SI subforum in General Babe Discussion?
Now, that's a good idea! And long time over-due. Not that I'm a fan of SI in general, but the more scans we get the better! It's rather annoying when people just scan pics of their favorite models and leave out the rest, but of course you can't expect them to scan AND sort out everything AND post the pics in the model's thread. It would be easier for the scanner and the dedicated fans can do the rest ...
I've no objections whatsoever to having an SI subforum, though I was kinda wondering - does anyone think there'd be any mileage in converting the VS-only bit into more of a 'Major Fashion Events' section? Possibly divided into three subsections...Victoria's Secret (inside would be the VS stuff we currently have on the main page)
Sports Illustrated
Fashion Shows (as it appears in 'entertainment and recreation' but moved)
It's just a thought of course, and I only really mention it because the VS section takes up a fair bit of space on the main page and a few of the subforums have been untouched for quite a while.
Sounds reasonable!
Completely different issue:Has there been a server crash or something? I wanted to update the Female Model Directory and half of it is gone!
http://www.bellazon.com/main/index.php?showtopic=12915
I know for sure everything was fine last week, because I added a few models. But now all the links after M are gone and there's no 'edited by'-line anymore which was there the last time I did it!
Does anyone know what happened?
Do we have a back-up of it?
So, I'm coming back to the Female Model Dierectory - I've started rolling it up from the back and it's going pretty well so far, so I wanted to continue today - and it happened again, half of the thread (in the midth of "J") was gone, no "edited by" anymore, nothing!! Lucky me I made a back-up and fixed it right away - but this bothers me, is it a bug? Is it me? As long as I'm the only one updating it, it's not a problem, for I'm doing a back-up avery time, but if someone has added something inbetween it'll be lost!

^ I am pretty sure it is a bug. Perhaps James or Taha can fix it when he stops by.
BTW, thanks for updating the directory ![]()

General update of what's not working
...
Report button - many members tell me they think we're ignoring them as a result of not knowing it doesn't work. I've told many people, but everyone doesn't know of course.
Email Notifications don't work either.
While I'm at it, could you show me how to make a subforum like this? Or show me if there's some general tutorial. http://www.bellazon.com/main/index.php?showforum=67

^ You mean how to create a subform? I will show you when I get home tonight ![]()

Manage Forums--> Add New Forum--> Fill-out: Name, Description & Select the Forum Parent (everything else can be left as is)--> Check off the Permission Levels.
Hope this helps ![]()

It worked, thanks
! And I guess you could make an announcement about the report button not working and to counter the fact that I could also do it, I just like how you do it
.

Leaving the dirty for me, ehh?
So the report button is currently not working. Until we fix it members should just PM a staff? Is that what we want to say?
Maybe we could promote the Site&Forum-Forum too? So they're not brooding about troubles, but just go there and complain, so we know and can fix it. I recently heard from two different sites we - the mods - would ignore them, I told them that the report button might not be working at the moment and they should either PM or go to the Site&Forum-Page if they got something to say and both had never seen or heard about it before, they said ... ![]()
Oh, and while I'm at it, the Female Mod Directory had deleted itself again, when I checked on it today and now I'm trying to repost the full list again, but the server won't let me do it - which is strange because I can post here, upload pics etc. without any problem at the moment ...

I think encouraging members to post issues/problems in Site & Forum is a smart idea. So should the announcement be something like...
"The REPORT button is currently not working. We are working on resolving this issue. Please report any issues/problems you might be experiencing in our Site & Forum section. We strongly encourage all members to utilize this method of reporting, however if anyone feels more comfortable reporting something anonymously please contact a staff member. Thank you!

Ja, after the first break down I did a back-up everytime I added threads, just in case. Haha, finally my archive-mania is good for something other than just supporting the extern-harddrive-branch ... ![]()
EDIT: Since I just found out it happened again - Do you think it could have something to with the post getting too big? Should I devide it into more posts? Like A-D, E-G, H-K etc? Maybe this will help!

Sounds great to me too.
For what it's worth, I've also placed a link in my sig directing people to 'Site & Forum'.
Good idea, Michael!

Uhm, since noone seemed to disagree, I just tried it out - can change to original in a minute of course, if you don't like it and/or think my being too bold ![]()

^I like it! On the few occasions I've tried to update the list, I've found it incredibly tricky to scroll through all the text. Breaking it up into smaller chunks most definitely helps. ![]()

BTW, have we change the rules about deleting accounts?
Glad you like it!
I thought accounts won't be deleted anymore?
