Hi everyone.. I'm still alive! Damn its been a while, and i want to apologize for my absence because it couldn't have come at a worse time I know. Worst Mod ever But I've had a lot of personal problems lately and i really needed time out to take care of them.. But im back now, sadly not everyday because ive got a full time job now and there's times where i just wont be able to get on but i'll give it my best.. so yeah

So, I just wanted to leave a note I did a dive into the Model ID section and archieved a whole lot of old topics without any answer yet. I've done it till june 2010, that's page 60. In total we are now about 10 pages shorter (topics archieved), haha, as if that would matter

Anyways, I have this idea, what do you think about it: wouldn't it make sense if there was a section similar to the archieve one for threads that still need confirmation? Like some people say it's def. this or that model but the creator of the thread doesn't bother to confirm it? Of course this would only make sense for the topics with only few pictures. But it would be a way to move all those topics to one place and keep the actual ID-Section a bit easier to navigate. Also I strongly got the hope people will make an effort to review the topics that still need confirmation if they are in one place. We could also loosen up the rule of confirmation somewhat , like say the pic in question is Doutzen and I KNOW it's Doutzen and post a link to that picture from Doutzen's thread? I guess that would be proof enough, yes/no? If soemthing is confirmed we could send a short note to the creator of the thread before moving it to the previously id-ed section ... I don't know, does that make sense? Sounds reasonable?

I mean we can't PM every one that made a topic once to confirm he's read the answers. This way around it would be easier, I guess ... and we could finally get rid of all ID-ed but not confirmed models ...

Guys, strange things are afoot. It seems we've had a few cases of topics randomly disappearing from various parts of the forum. Pretty has fixed several and I've fixed a couple more, can anyone shed any light on it?

We also have several of the old pictures somehow being turned into porn pictures . I've got complaints from members saying several of their old model pics have now been altered somehow.

Also, am I the only person that sees every Model ID thread from page six or so on back as read ? I haven't gone through every page, but it seems that way for several pages back. It seems inconceivable to me that I've clicked on all of them.

^ any image hoster in particular? Its not inconceivable that they run low on space and then start recyling old URLs which change the pictures.

That happened before the update as well, I deleted a bunch of pictures turned into strange things in the very beginning of my being a mod

Mad, can you take care of that "attach picture"-issue? Some members aren't able to attach pictures to their replies ... no idea what the problem might be

Maybe it could be attached to Art&Literature, like the Fashion Photographer subforum there?
