How's ed? 
How were Dinosaur Jr.? I hear about them a bit, but haven't heard any of there stuff.I went to see Emily Haines sing songs from Fantasies, backed by a string quartet which was nice. Short (only last about 40 mins), but nice.
I'm still waiting with baited breath for Emily or Metric to stop by my neck of the woods. 
The gig was good, but spoilt slightly by the crap sound at the venue. Cleaner sounding stuff like Fleet Foxes or Vampire Weekend is alright (ish), but anything grungy just sounds like a hiss, especially on the floor. With that said, I'm still quite tempted to see Yeasayer there next month.
Anyway, this is probably my favourite Dinosaur Jr. tune and a favourite video too. Spike Jonze!

They said on ESPN 5 ESPN that Brazil already has the next World Cup won and they were saying it really matter of fact like too as though who will come second is the only thing worth discussing. I know its their hometown, but I've never seen such predictions without even knowing who will be there, plus the pressure must be unreal for them to win. Do they play on some special kind of turf/field others would have to adjust to or something

Not that I'm aware of I don't trust commentators though; They're like old people that don't want to be forgotten so they take up a job where they can constantly demonstrate their senility. In any other situation, they'd be declared a public nuisance
