^If you mean an angel as in 'angel in a children's nativity play' then yes she definitely does!Elsa looks more like a genuine angel than Candice or any of the 'Angels' do.

^I'm going to direct you to my very first thread on here - back when people had opinions and discussed things more than 'I like x, I hate y, why wasn't z in the show?': http://www.bellazon....__ surrealisimo Halcyon days...Now I need to get started on the ridicule over demented costumes........that's the fun part..
^Yeah, I kind of like the 'Sailor Jerry' attempts on her arms, but it would have been much cooler had they put more time into it and gave her sleeves, or covered her completely. :brows:^I'd might have gone for that if the tattoos were less fugly
^I think she's very pretty too, by the way - but I agree with Mr. icon regarding her lack of personality in shoots. I do, however, think she may just genuinely be 'the shy one' rather than that being used (in terms of VS vernacular, and forum debates) to justify many of their models simply being plain old boring!Doutzen is one of those super popular models that I've always been ambivalent about. I can't sense a personality in her photoshoots so she's hasn't come across as being particularly memorable. Also, I think that she has the nose/eyes of a young girl. ............!I wasn't sure if you meant that last bit as a good or bad thing.. probably the latter
She is a doll though, like Emily D

Victoria's Secret 2012 Stop Motion:
In case you guys didn't catch this being passed around: I encourage everybody to watch this. In a way, it's better than the actual show. A ton of chaff, that would have made it to the live action picture, was removed. There's a surreal feel to the whole thing: Enjoy:

PS.
I just lost one star- within an hour after saying something about leo dicaprio. It's like an automatic response mechanism over here ![]()

They have features- nose, eyes, and lips like small girls. Indeed, like a doll. I guess that's what makes them quite exotic looking, and a bit too exotic for me...I can understand though, how people find that look special.
I love that softer body type too, but that super toned 'comic book' body on the right woman drives me wild. Doutzen this year was the most in-shape appearance I can recall since Marisa, who I dearly miss. Constance is one of those models who 'on paper' is really attractive, but I've never really found interesting enough to follow. Toni Garrn is another like that.
It's odd-I was thinking about this after watching the 6:30 clip. Hilary Rhoda is in her mid-20s but now looks like she aged 9 years since 2010. I think part of it has to do with the fact that she toned herself with diet and cardio so much that her body fat % declined and this heavily effected her face. Her face is looking bony.
What do you think? I think, because of this, she looks so much older as of late.
You liked Marisa? I liked Marissa's athleticism but I found her kind of rough in appearance- and probably due to her body fat % too. It was making her face look too bony. She looked better when she was less muscled.
Doutzen has a six pack, btw, which is a bit much in my book. But unlike Hilary and Marissa, her face looks the same as before.
Anne V. is also someone else whose look has clearly changed compared to 2010. She lost weight, and her face changed with it. I liked the old (more curvy) Anne better.

A few notes before I get to you Baron.
-----------------------------------
I'm watching the stop-motion, and urge anybody else to observe it and to record what they see. I'd love to see other points of view:
-Candice looks exactly the same as last year, which is a good thing
-Karlie's 'Disc' is in fact attached to a spinning mechanism- the effect from the rear is that of a rotating hypnotic image.
-Doutzen does some magic stuff with the black disc that she's waving with her poodle outfit. This certainly required some practice.
-Isabeli looks really...sexual...as the snake woman.
-Barbara F's costumes are both great, and she has beautiful and very intimidating eyes. This is the first time I've seen her, and I've already bookmarked her thread.
-Liu Wen's body is a bit too powdered when she's walking as tattoo lady.
-Rhianna is an attractive woman.
-Behati is gorgeous in the white corset, and has won me over.
-Constance's blue wing outfit is more awkward in motion than in stills. The wings are just too short, thick, and unwieldy.
-Magalena is extremely sexy in both looks.
-Isabeli F. is doing the same rave walk that she did in Monange- The white corset is a bit too big and makes her look shorter than she is, but still, she's sexy.
-Sui Hi is gorgeous but her eyes...don't move.
-Erin H.'s new years outfit makes her look like a bottle of Russian liquor.
-Lindsay E. got massive and rather awkward looking wings this year.
-Isabeli's second outfit, with 4 pom-poms on her back, is terrible
-Behati is a beautiful and funny witch.
-Karlie as the Indian Chief-she blows kisses, and these kisses are not politically incorrect.
-Barbara P. as christmas girl is less awkward in motion than in stills.
-Bruno Mars is very short, near hobbit-like. I'm guessing only 5'4''.
-Justin Beiber is around 5' 7'', and his PINK intro with Jessica Hart is demented- he's dancing rings around her. LOL.
-There is an extremely awkward series of shots that make it appear like Justin Beiber is in fact chasing Dorthearea (spelling) against her will.
-This is all I have to say about Cara's lolita outfit: "Go to Jail. Go Directly to Jail. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200"
-Maud's alice outfit is disturbing, and probably the worst and most out of place VS outfit in history. Her walk, made awkward by the 2-D cutout, makes it even more bizarre...
-Joan Smalls is very elegant.
-Candice and Rihanna almost bump into each other on the runway
-Ale with the Special Bra- She looks really good. Physically, at least. Her torso is a bit wider but also more muscled than last year.
-Adriana look 2:very awkward.
-Behati is good for all 3 looks.
-Toni garn's Poppy outfit is better in motion than the stills. Toni herself looks gorgeous.
-The final get-together: Considerably more chaotic and lengthy than in previous shows. I'm not complaining: Length, in this context, will never be an issue...........

Yeah, that's the problem- time. Also, I take a risk with every book that I have, as it might not deliver as much usefulness as I had previously anticipated. The ones I mentioned were useful, though
![]()
I have them listed now
but really, the time is a huge issue
I also started to create Christmas presents for my family (I find it better than actually buying them) - so I have even less time for reading now
Depends, I get mental exhaustion when I'm in deep thought/under pressure and this happens a lot while I'm working. So I keep advils handy just in case. As for reading, I'm capable of reading for most of a day without a headache, if I need to.Reading for a whole day is okay - but when there is too much information from all around, my brain collapses. That´s when cottage helps. Nothing is better to clear my head than plastering, chopping wood or creating furniture / other things.
I read a ton of financial filings/journals/screens etc., and my challenge is sorting the wheat from the chaff, and finding discrepancies that can be exploited. Other than that, I read for real-world codified knowledge, and I never read fiction or literature books. I prefer academic organized texts and texts written by people with professional experience.... above all, but even these I try to vet. All nonfiction that I perceive to be useful is game for me. So that psychology book is still on my to-do list.
Recreation: The only ersatz fiction and literature that I read are from comic books, and I don't even really read them. I just download the pdfs and quickly scroll through them. (I last read a Judge Dredd comic after seeing the film). Other things that I consider near-fiction is the newspapers, as it's mostly bullshit/not important/excessively short term and I have to sort through carefully to get factual information. I periodically check out pie-in the sky politics, sociology, and current issues economics books, which are also mostly ideological bullshit/flowery speculation but they allow me to get a feel for the 'zeitgeist' and the current issues that are pressing into society.
Come to think of that, I haven't done the above in a long time and I need to find a few sundays to do that....
My final guilty pleasure, and one that I have done all my life is reading military/ war materials for fun. Everything from WW1 to today is game, and I go down to the granular little details (like equipment/battlefield communications up to tactical theory/org up to strategy/geopolitics). I try not to waste time doing this, but sometimes I cannot help myself.
I read a lot of fiction literature as well. Especially from Terry Pratchett and Chris Moore, I love funny and witty books. But I have not read one in like ages - for now it´s all non-fiction literature or Spanish. Hell I need to practice more.
And then there´s TV and my favourite National Geographic Wild, Spectrum, Discovery, Animal Planet, National Geo
so-many-great-documents! And then, of course, real life. So many things to do, to learn, to enjoy.
Really, why can´t a day have more than 24 hours Andy?
I know you´re a big "war" fan
do you like WW1 more than WW2? I mean from literature and interest point of view.

It would be easier to list the fish that I don't like than those I do
. I'll work on it though. This would be a waste in the 'Food' thread, so I figured I'd post it here
. What are your favorite seeds and nuts? You can include roasted, seasoned and unseasoned separately or raw only if you want.

Surely that would bring out groups of people with torches and pitchforks

Definately hadn't seen that ed before, but it's great ![]()

I guess we'll see the 2012 show come the first week of December....hopefully somebody will post a download for everybody. Personally, I don't watch television and prefer to get VLC files.
^Irrespective of whose catwalk it may be, Magdalena tends to own it whatever! She's my HF queen anyway, but she effortlessly segues into VS with aplomb.
She and Karlie have..lost weight, have you noticed? I think they should regain it, but I can see how stress would work its magic.
^Yeah, it's not for me. Doutzen looked pretty (and her bum was in fine prominence), but I don't realy like that type of figure. Erin is quite athletic too...
Candice has the only angel body that I like. She's shorter than old-school VS, and wouldn't fit in with the old crew.

I like Liu Wen. As far as Chinese models go, I prefer if they look like her. She's accessible to both western and eastern audiences, which is a core strength.
^If you mean an angel as in 'angel in a children's nativity play' then yes she definitely does!

This is an interesting link, I can see how you are working with your masters...:-) I am certain that the designers behind the event have artistic or even philosophical references in mind. And comedic, of course..

Doutzen doesn't come across as particularly shy, but rather just an ordinary person.
Until then...
I was going to post these on a more 'public' thread - but fuck them! Surely the answer to the VSFS 'November Outfit Dilemma':
