One of my favorite insights from a Quantum Psychology course I took:

- Emotions never disappear; they just get transferred somewhere else or are deleted by expression or assertiveness.

@frenchkiki  check you pm!

On LT relationships:

90 day- relationship activity cycle (repeat it over and over again, and refine it)

30 day sex activity cycle

Kind of interesting that there is a men's version of feminism.  I have heard of the men's rights movement but it was very small and weak, and disappeared in the 1990s.

My personal awareness largely stemmed from observing  and then rebelling against my mother's behavior growing up.  She was on the manipulative side.  I was also an agnostic.  Then I had a long term relationship with much more mature woman who ran circles around me.  This was very costly but highly educational.   I was always aware of Dawkins and the other scientists (Jennka and I used to talk about it on this forum).  But I never learned the details until recently.  I was only aware that the woman has biological impulses that control her behavior and if I run into this issues, I should be defensive.

But last year being defensive cost me some unwarranted stress (due to conflict with some women).  Simple deduction is not enough to get through some social situations.

In psychology:

- Being naive is high morality plus lack of shrewdness.

-the opposite of Naive is to be conman/criminal-like.  It's low morality plus high shrewdness.

Would you like to continue this in the intersexual thread?  I got stromboli to post there.  I'm interested in discussing humor.

-Some other great insights from Quantum Psychology  and Male depression:

-The maturity level of men is actually much lower in certain areas than in previous generations- most of this is due to the demands of higher education and career, which stops the inclusion of rights of passage and time to develop general intelligence.   Women are also being effected negatively as well and certain aspects of their mothering role have deteriorated in quality.

-Anger can be erased by channeling the emotional energy into assertiveness and work towards solving the problem.  It can be source of great energy/accomplishment and that is also why many women still have sexual attraction to angry but capable men. (like my dad)  Reminds me of this scene ":

"Your anger gives you great power; but if you let it will destroy you, as it almost did me.."

So Batman is a rageful guy after all!

"There are two complementary energies that men project into the world:

- upper energy (charm, charisma, humour, curiosity, conversation, fun)

- lower energy (mystique, adventure, stoicism, danger, sexual desire). That's it.

- Always consider these two energies and whether or not you are holding back in any way. Awareness is curative.

-Most men in this modern age completely hide the lower energy from the world.

-This is why women everywhere are saying, "Where are the real men?" The problem is if a man is only projecting lower energy to the world, and it is not balanced with all the charm and respect and empathy of a man's upper energy, then he comes across as too forward or even a "creep."

- qualities in a man that compels all kinds of women to adore him - and take care of him - until the day he dies

walking around NYC, shooting criminals and thugs

This is a movie that's too politically incorrect to make today.

youtube comment:

"The disturbing thing is how many Republicans think that this was a documentary."

Some fun stuff:

- Cuphead is based off of cartoons from the 1920s-1930s.  A lot of interesting artwork here.

-Wolfenstein: Colossus and COD:WW2 are coming out in a month.

It's funny that Rose is not being put under the microscope.

It's a shame that only political BS/media arguments bring out energy on BZ

No more passionate conversations and posts about fun topics.

i don't know nothing about the weinstein-story yet, i will check it out.

but the o'reilly accusations were clearly aginst fox news, to hunt down their mvps. they tried the same against hannity, but he took it seriously, fought back and turned to the audience. the same tactics was used against trump in the campaign. hire disposable women who lie for fame / money / whatever.

^It's a very well worn drama in the media- so many politicians get hit with it.  Lots of emotional agitation .   It's  notable that the thread triggered what seems to be reflex responses from prior dramas.  Same drama, different guy.  Same factions arguing against each other. I've seen it xx times !

@Sanni

I think I explained to you why I'm interested in psych as I am preparing for the next stage of my life.   If you don't like my posts in the Love and Sex thread and it causes you anger- you shouldn't read them and let them effect you.

I have a great relationship with my mother for a decade and a half now, thank you very much.  There's no need to be nasty towards me or try to psychoanalyze me in such a terribly negative way.

I'm learning these things in a deep way for future success.   I don't like this anger towards me.  What do you want?
