- Great point Danni about editing your own topics. I'm completely against members deleting posts though but I think people should be able to edit the titles to their topics at least.

But.. But... It's not like there post count goes down. I don't see why it would bother them. It would also save the whole, repost thing, especially if the owner of said topic is still a regular BZ member. They could delete reposts, e.t.c.. :evil: It would make my life so much easier. Or I could not be a mod/admin but be able to delete posts? I'll have privileges! Yes, that's the word.

If you ignore someone's posts i don't think you should be able to see their post or the fact they're posted at all.

The threads i liked to go to now are spammed by a few No names, and i hate seeing all the posts still of them after i ignored them

I've got another thing ... how about closing Polls that have been open for longer than a year? Seriously i hate when all of the sudden the Babe Polls subforum is full of polls that nobody cares about anymore >.<

Glad someone finally mentioned this. I would rather prefer a timed poll, such as the option to close it in 1 day, 1 week, 1 month. I think that would make the polls more appealing in the end (as there is currently none in sight).

Good point Limer, even though I can't ignore anyone of course . I see what you mean though. In the mean time, I'd suggest using the page down key until something else is available. As to the polls, Pretty's always said that of course. I feel you guys there as I also hate when someon randomly decides to bump a whole page full of polls out of the blue . Its a fine line because it borders on spam, but who am I to say a poller's fun is less valid than a competitiioner's fun? My only problem with closing them though is for a poll, the more votes it has, the more valid it is. The prospect of having as many votes as possible is the best part about a poll to me. For example, 60% vs. 40% of 200 votes is more valid than 50 votes in my book. What would be ideal for me is if either it were closed for comments but it were still possible to vote or it were unbumpable after a certain number .

i have to agree with dani. there is so much senseless dribble from merged threads like she already has a thread or duplicate images on the same page. if your not allowed to repost pics why keep "she already has a thread" and a duplicate bio. i can understand commetns not being deleted but sometimes i see duplicate threads and everything posted in them is already posted in the original thread. I just saw Bruna Boechat's thread and there are four comments with merged thread in them. i can only imagine how mess the supermodels threads get.

Not to be a "Debbie Downer", but while all these suggestions are wonderful, what's the strong likelihood that any of these ideas are going to become reality unless Joe gets together with Maddog and they actually start to hash out everyone's wants asap.

For years now some of us have been saying that there are minor changes we'd want to see on BZ, and nothing has yet to be done.... after 5 years o.O

In fact the only time anything ever seemed to get done around here was when PC was around and that's only because she had Maddogs ear and was able to make decisions without having to ask a million and one admins/mods for "permission".

This forum needs another Admin who knows IPB, knows the coding, knows the admin panel and has the right to be able to change things as needed...

Maddog comes into the section of the forum, yet he has yet to make an appearance here and let us all know things are being taken into consideration. If it hasn't happened in a couple of years, I'm just not sure it's going to happen any time soon.

i do applaud Joe for wanting our feedback, but yes, without maddog's assistance/permission, all we are doing is essentially talking to a deaf ear.

Perhaps we do need to all gather a master list with the top things and ALL of us send them to maddog so that he will know we do want changes?

and LMS, agreed about the one name model thread. If they legit use one name (a la Madonna) than that's cool, but people should need to do the research and get the proper full name.

I used to do it all the time. You edit your post and "..." and they look rather silly. Like they're coming up with responses to a triple dot. The horrifically frightening triple dot no less.
