Silly questions: How can u be sure a member banned is not going to create another account? To ban is IP address? Mmmm, good idea but he/she can register from another computer or ask someone with a different IP to create an account?

you cant be sure

lets say i get banned i would do the following

• renew my ip
  
• get banned again?
  
• renew ip
  
• banned again?
  
• repeat
  
• oh whats that you banned the ip range? <----- that would piss a lot of people off (trust me on this one) since everyone in that range would be banned thus making it highly improbable that such action will be taken
  
• use a proxy
  

most people though will end up showing their true colors and you will be able to tell it is a banned member and the staff can than look into it.

Just a brief summary

- The report button doesn't work, so reports have to be either in Site and Forum or pm until we get it fixed.

- Sorry Cult, over 90% of the staff themselves use invisibility, so I guess that should give you an indication of how the voting would go on that . If someone actually does something they will be held accountable, but if the extent of their stalking is simply visiting the profile then no one will be harmed one way or the other . If it makes you feel better, Blackrain doesn't use invisibility at least. Invisibility is about more than just last time seen ect. It also disguises the last thread you went to. If someone who doesn't like Candice wants to visit her thread every couple of days to get material for their stand up routine but doesn't want anyone looking at their profile to think they're a fan, I support them in that right .

- I've banned a lot of the same people countless times. For most people, there's not much of a point in registering again unless they want to in some way pick up where they left off and in such cases I see who they are and ban them again. If someone cheats the system and turns over a new leaf as a new personality, more power to them if its that important to them I guess.

It's alright Joe, I figured that was the case. The "invisibility" thing has always bothered me for a while and I've never seen this function at any other forum. Just my opinion.
