Can't really argue with that list Joe (Y) (although I can't profess to know what an 'Allstate Man' is?). I'd probably only add a few more classic actors otherwise, Cary Grant, Robert Redford - plus a young Jack Nicholson, as I get compared to him a lot and so it appeals to my vanity! mischievous_smilie.gif

Why aren't mods, etc. Taking these notes? :persuazn:

Besides the attachment function getting a new and better look..

Remove certain lovevsmodel members from BZ.

They clearly have some grudge going on yet they don't mind registering here and not crediting us, etc. Seems unfair IMO.

I can't endorse the show as a whole. At least I can't endorse it overall once it gets to the 'talented' portion. That said, some of the auditions make me laugh long and hard . Unfortunately, these aren't necessarily the absolute worst of the worst, only my favorite of the worst .

Favorite Bad AI Auditions

First one actually made me queasy :|

Although I was slightly appeased by the ending, which was obviously fake. Was the whole thing fake though? Pretty skillful editing if it was

ballet without toes? And it´s called contemporary dance??

It tries to use working the stage and emotion to make up for it, but overall is supposed to be more accessible to regular sized women since they tend to land or turn on the balls of the feet or flat footed instead. I'll find you some videos of the videos I like .

Yeah, wanna wanna I´d love to see that in motion!

LOL, glad you like it . I was partially worried since it was really hard editing it to fit sig space and another part worried about getting complaints .

Good call with those additions and the Allstate man is a C to B list actor that is the spokesperson for some insurrance commercials. He's been in a bunch of random movies though he's probably most known for The Unit tv show. He's also the voice of the big co captain guy in the Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas cartoon movie and @ that last part .

I've never been on a first name basis with her and actually didn't recognize her at all when she changed hair colors which is an irony given they're illustrating that she uses that same face in everything .

^Aha - it's only bloody President David Palmer - that sonorous-voiced guy from 24, and the best president you never really had (well him and Bill Pullman in Independence Day)!

Oh yeah, not sure how I missed that and rub it in with a really cool gif why don't you ?

Oh, Jennks as to the contemporary dance thing, this is a random example. As you can see, they tend to land on the balls of the feet and flat footed rather than the toes which makes it both more inviting to bigger women and also much easier to learn. I still may use other clips later, but I didn't want you to lose patience .

As a side note, sure there's things we'd all change about fashion. Some would make them gain a little weight, others an age requirement, others would change the runway music, others would take celebs off the magazine covers and so on. That said, there are some things I think fashion has right .

10 Things Fashion Has Right

10. Photography - the most obvious and less subjective aspect is that fashion has some of the greatest and most respected photographers in the world. Of course they're top notch in terms of designers and makeup artists. Though not all have them, but there are also a lot of models with actual modeling skills (expressing emotion in the face, connecting with the camera, confidently engazing a runway audience ect.)

9. Flat stomachs aplenty - although flat stomachs are becoming more and more standard in acting and singing as well, photoshop can't save you on the runway. That said, I like flat stomachs and most models seem to have them. I must admit I prefer a 3D torso in general over 1D and 2D, but that's a different subject.

8. Tall women are awesome - although I like both short women and women even taller than model tall and even think the standard would higher if more of both were allowed. Lets face it, the majority of the world's beautiful and unique women are in the combined group of under or over 5'9-5'11, so there are some who have both average looks and skill and just happen to be tall but would have had a harder time if they had to compete with more women outside of that range. That said, the fact that they have that standard and still find many great models is a heck of a feat anyway.

7. Long legs - somewhat touched on a bit in the previous one although some 5'6 women have long legs and some tall women (such as Ale) don't, but either way there's a lot of long legged women in fashion for those that love them.

6. There's more women with big hips than I would have expected - I love hips and when I got into fashion, I was surprised to see how many models had them.

5. Every model may not be beautiful, but there's a whole lot that are

4. If one were to take the time to look, they might see the are in editorials - there's been and are some editorials out there that just blow my mind with everything from tributes to films, current events, activism, fantasy sequences and just pure imagination.

3. The runway is still the model's domain - despite celebrities having more and more editorials, cosmetics commercials, magazine covers, fragrance commercials and clothing lines than ever, the runway for now is still almost exclusively the model's domain.

2. Contrary to popular belief, its actually more diverse ethnically than the film and TV industries - Even though I'd still like to see more models from places like the Phillippines, Malaysia, Indonesia ect. I dare say that there's more Somalian and Sudanese women in fashion than in Hollywood or TV. Actually, even despite the greater height requirement (than acting) its currently much easier for a dark skinned woman to become a model than an actress or singer. It also showcases women from many other parts of the world that don't have an internationally popular entertainment industry in general.

1. Art and agenda trump supply and demand - I've touched on that before of course and there are pros and cons to it, but I still respect them for it.

Now that I've said all that, I don't feel as bad for laughing at these runway fails . Well, I wouldn't feel bad anyway as long as everyone's not injured of course .

That is true. I really hate going onto old threads and having blank/empty posts because the images have been removed due to hotlinking, etc.
