.

Ron Burgundy: Boy, that escalated quickly. I mean, that really got out of hand fast!
Champ Kind: It jumped up a notch.
Ron Burgundy: It did, didn’t it?
Brick Tamland: Yeah, I stabbed a man in the heart.
Ron Burgundy: I saw that! Brick killed a guy! Did you throw a trident?
Brick Tamland: Yeah, there were horses, and a man on fire, and I killed a guy with a trident.
Ron Burgundy: Brick, I’ve been meaning to talk to you about that. You should probably find yourself a safe house or a relative close by. Lay low for a while, because you’re probably wanted for murder.

Thanks again
. I don't have anything to repay you guys unfortunately, but here's some randomness...
Song Lyrics or Titles I've Butchered the Most In Public...
Born by the Bayou
Down by the Bayou
Waking up in Vegas
Wait until you taste it
Because the night belongs to lovers
Spending the nights under the covers
Rolling in the Deep
There's a fire burning in my head, tingling in my heart tearing me all apart
Scars and your love, they leave me restless, I keep on thinking it...

Joe, have you ever travelled via tram?

So Joe, what were your favourite moments of the Olympics? And what do you think about the closing ceremony?
I watched gymnastics the other day where Raisman was 4th at first and that Romanian gymnast was 3rd. Even though I did not like her 'show', I felt kinda sorry that Raisman's team went to the jury and got her bronze
but I was even more sorry for Komova and Douglas that day, they both fell ![]()

Your sister is right. You really ARE mean ![]()

Cat just used up one life lol eight more to go.

. It really is an unfortunate sport in a lot of ways. You pretty much work and sacrifice your entire childhood to become good at something and it really all comes down to something that only comes once every few years. Of course, there's the world championships, but its obvious that the olypics is their number one goal anyway. On top of that, the best in the world can make one mistake and be eliminated while someone else can give the performance of their life and win. Actually, that was the case with the USA team as Weiber is in fact the world champion and was eliminated from the all around in the ranks of her own country. She expected to at worst be second to Gaby opposed to being third on her own team. On top of that, if the level of difficulty wasn't enough, it relies on a scoring system that's subject to human opinion on top of that. The scoring protest thing was awkward on many levels. From one aspect, the famous coach guy in the crowd that initiated it is Romanian too
. Of course, the obvious thing is someone having a medal taken away right before their eyes whereas the US had already won the all around and team gold already. On the other hand, the American girl was screwed in the first place because she had no errors and they ranked her in the yellow rather than the green. Its just an awkward business
. I was extremely disappointed with the closing ceremony
. I'm also not sure how they chose Brand, random cover bands, Jessi J and lame boy band over Adelle on top of that ![]()

Thanks Jennks, although I'm afraid that the link's already broken

Good insight
It's not a PC thing to say, but in contrast to the majority, that's one of the reasons why I didn't watch a single minute of the Olympics. It's like watching circus animals sometimes. We get to see the winners; the majority toil and fail. They put great strain on their bodies, lower their life expectancies, and garner a few worthless skillsets. The real 'olympics' between nations is standard of living, culture, and wealth creation. Not this stuff.
I believe the fact that we are the only rich nation with 310+ million people and a long standing sports culture (partially ensured by our inefficient and decadent taxpayer funded schools...) has something to do with getting the #1 spot nearly every year. As for #2, PRC builds training camps- specializing in choice competitions- just to raise their prestige at the Olympics. Children spend their developmental years in these facilities just to get a shot at something elusive.
Overall, children in our country waste way too much of their precious time on sports.
