@ the Lima thing . As a side note, speaking of girls of a certain place, first off of course I know there's a difference between common level of looks and a common look of course. One person can have a common look for a certain place and be a 9 whereas someone else can have that same level of commoness and style of look and be a 4. And then someone with a more unique look who is a 7 may stand out more for fashion. But as a side note, I find it interresting some American actresses here are called 'average' or 'plain' for having a common type of look whereas someone like Erin Heatherton for example (there seems to be hundreds of not thousands of her here. You could literally start a Heatherton army) are called 'beautiful' whereas it seems actresses with that same level of 'beauty' not so much. Could it be because some here maybe resent the oversaturation of actress publicity even more since their favorite models aren't really known ?

It all depends on the person really Joe, personally i see a woman Like Erin and don't think of her as beautiful, but she does has a charm to her, as many north american women and just women in general do. Also, when you're looking at Erin you are looking at A MODEL and basing her that way as opposed to an actress you aren't so much basing it on beauty (I feel) as more of the full package of her acting skills personality and then looks, as what's an actress that can't act, yet still gets movie roles (Excuse the Megan Fox treatment please, but you see she was quickly replaced without question) The mark of a good actress is that lasting impression like wow, no-one else could ever do that as well as her, or very few, only the elite of the elite. As per the model bit, i find Erin's rather.. normal looks to be refreshing proving you don't have to be super uber drop dead amazing to become a model, especially for a company that has the prestige that Victoria secret has. And really to answer your question, it could be that fact, or it could just be like i said, how a model like Erin is usually judged ONLY on her looks most times, as opposed to an actress based on the full package and how well she has that

Well Layla, I've never seen Chelsy Lately mainly because I watch the Soup and usually just change the channel or leave after that , but I guess I'll give it a shot .

Limer, bringing discussians from another thread upsets the balance much like going back in time, but that's for you to learn on your own , well, not really but just felt like saying that . But good points anyway, and mind you of course I like her too I guess in the way you described. She looks out of place to me in lingerie commercials (partially because she looks so young and also doesn't change expression much in them) I don't think she's a beauty necessarily but she does have a pleasant kindof something about her. But what I was mainly going for is why it seems people are tougher on actress looks on fashion forums when based on that example I would think someon being judge only on their looks would be held to the harder standard is why I was wondering if the over publicity of celebrities in contrast to the non recognition of models had something to do with it. But then on the other hand along with your point that actresses are seen differently because of their different responsibility I do see on the flip side, with those that like an actress if she is particularly talented 6 looks are then appreciated much more because of their talent even though if they had 7 looks with average talent maybe they wouldn't appreciate it as much I guess .
