Joe more about Slovak wolves? I have written you something in my thread and I need to find something more I guess. Generally, the wolves here are rare and there is lesser and lesser of them every year (guess why?) even if they are shy and don´t do much damages to people (very few).

Oops, I asked here first and then just figured I'd take it over there because I didn't think you'd see it over here in my multi-quote jumble . They're extremely endangered over here . Not only because people fear them, but because our natural life dwindles drastically every day, though they have some reserved parks at least . But they are wonderful indeed .

Do you love them too? Great what other animals do you have there?

Maybe I am not one to think about improvments of bellazon, as I am 99,9 % in the Mathias Lauridsen thread.

But I thought about how to make BZ better for a while but I love it. No improvements needed.

The idea is interresting indeed. My main concern though with people with some mod powers without mod status would be I would think it would at some point become difficult for someone to do work but not take part in staff meetings, share in staff votes and have general decision making authority all while doing simular work. But of course I must say (for in general), becoming a mod (or even for this hypothetical) requires a unanimous vote and approval from the administrators (as well as of course no protest from the mods). And I must admit, considering names publicly for me is kindof awkward because addressing the why and why not's for each individual based on staff perspective is...awkward on a multitude of levels . The whys may be encouraging but the why nots may hurt people's feelings .

I understand how it would be awkward Joe, I really do but discussing these things in this thread, makes members (especially those that have been here for years.) feel like : not only is shit being done, but they can voice opinions about it as well. Makes the board more comfortable, more friendly.

As for choosing new mods, it should be in the end be discussed with the staff, we were just trying to help.

It's about to be the busiest/craziest time of the year too with VSFS and SI both on their way in a matter of month(s)

And we all know how crazy that can get for awhile (i only saw it last year and wow )

If it was possible, could you not use that as a trial period? What better way to see if someone should be a full time mod if they can handle the busiest time helping out around here?

It couldn't hurt And if the rest of the Admin/mod think okay maybe they can't do this just put them as a regular member again?

Like Ophelia said, we're just trying to help, I know being a Mod/Admin/Higher up is a risk letting someone into that and maybe abusing the power and what not but that said, if it helps the forum and no-one abuses it... why not?

Jennka, unfortunaely, most of our wildlife is extremely endangered (some say will be mostly gone in a couple generations) due to constant destroying of their habitat, pollution as well as poachers. The Bison, for example was almost totally gone in the early 1900s (of course once were thousands all over, but were killed in an effort to starve off the Native Americans (or 'Indians' as some call). They would sometimes sell or trad their fur, but didn't even eat them, just killed them and left them to rot so the natives couldn't have them (being the natives favorite). But thanks to Canadians, they've survived even though they're still endangered. But I can't stress enough the role of the Canadians in saving them from extinction. Though the Eastern Elk is extinkt, we still have some elk and though the brown bear is endangered, we still have a lot of black bears. But squirrels, dogs and cats are probably the main thing we have in abundance .

Well...ironically, I hate VS . But there have been some interresting outfits here and there I guess and I guess it would be interresting to see if there are any noteworthy debuts .

Joe, I´m so sorry for the almost extincted animals but I guess it´s almost the same everywhere - there are animals that are like overpreserved and animals that are near to extinction. Here in my country, people are pushing the bears and wild animals from their territories and than are surprised when the animals come down to people - I´m like, what the hell? They have no other place to go!

Yeah, I'm all for discussing as much as possible with the members, only member's standing with the staff is confidential unless the member agrees to share of course. For example, someone who may seem upstanding in member perspective may be actually scating on very thin ice with the staff and that knowledge is up to them to disclose. But other than that, members deserve general knowledge of course . Atm, maddog is working on multiple uploads as well as the fmd thing where you can wave the mouse over a Model ID thread and see a small thumbnail of the pic in the first post .
