Yeah, I'm all for discussing as much as possible with the members, only member's standing with the staff is confidential unless the member agrees to share of course. For example, someone who may seem upstanding in member perspective may be actually scating on very thin ice with the staff and that knowledge is up to them to disclose. But other than that, members deserve general knowledge of course . Atm, maddog is working on multiple uploads as well as the fmd thing where you can wave the mouse over a Model ID thread and see a small thumbnail of the pic in the first post .

Oh, no, I feel like the Scrooge of VS now . But yeah...its no coincidence I only post in the VS threads when its to moderate a dispute . But, sorry guys . But as to "how?" Where do I start ? The clothes themselves are my and every guy's fantasy...on someone they like . To tell the truth a lot of guys I know say the girls on the commercials are way too skinny now, not to knock skinniness or why I hate the brand (as I got into fashion for hf who are skinnier generally, not that I got into it for their bodies, but anyway, back on track...), but just worth a mention.

But, well, first off, I usually don't like the angel lineups, that's not to say I'm expecting to like all, but I mean less than 50% approval rating, which even if I were to give them the benefit of the doubt with that (to say, well, the world doesn't revolve around my tastes ect. and that few probably like all of them), the fact that a lot of the same people stay for so long ...There's what, hundreds of models? For cheerleading squads for example, they have to compete for their jobs again every year along with everyone else to make it more competitive. Since models are paid way more money, why have a lower standard of competitiveness ? But VS seems to get stuck on people and their spot seems to almost be set in stone for long stretches. Their catalogue work is decent, I'll give them that, though less imaginitive and less sensual than intimissimi, le senza ect. imo. They've also become a bit too girly for me these past few years for such a brand imo. It almost seems like a high school brand at times now. And I also hate, hate, hate the uniform shirts as well too much sugar is a bad thing...and as to the campaigns, "Blonde Ambition" for example, I'll probably never forgive them for that one . And also, usually when models come to VS, they forget how to model and even worse, models who once had interresting work become all consumed with VS and their work becomes very boring. Also, they have some that I kindof like, but don't fit the brand imo....

BUT...there's a but !....I've looked back at some of the actual shows and I must say some of the outfits from the shows are quite outstanding . Wondering who will be there and who will perform and what the outfits will be is indeed quite interresting and I'm actually quite curious to see myself now .

Joe, I think you got it right, I like VS, but I find your words truthfull. Especially about that high school thing... VS used to be all-womanly brand with a little pink section. Now it´s like... for teenagers with a little of womanly section.

no. but i totally get what your saying...my question is WHY is VS the most popular lingerie store? like you said, i prefer some of the work la senza and others produce. I love candice swanepoel as you know...but if you loook in her topic ...the last 3 pages i can guarantee you are only VS which gets super boring after awhile...they need to change up the models a bit. I think i just love VS because the models are actually well known- people who arn't intereste in the industry still eem to know these girls names... plus if you model for vs apparently your considered one of the most beautiful women alive...ha...i gotta disagree with that statemant , as i hate some of their models...anyways...

And yeah...Candice is a good example who's work I preferred before . But then since she can speak much better English than Adriana and Ale, it will probably open doors to other things and has already (interviews, being on E! News a lot and also a couple non-VS commercials like the lip sync thing). But yeah, good point, her last several pages are all VS . A lot of people seem to want Cintia to be an angel. On one hand I think she'd be a great one and also I've thought for awhile a red head, an Asian or both would add some diversity, but I like her work more now . But her walk is so cute I know she could do great at VSFS if they accepted her though .

But, agreed, VS Pink is extremely cute .

The other big issue i have with VS is after you see two shoots from a model you've seen almost all the poses, and it's boring. Yes some poses are nice to see the twist the head back show off your ass, that can be okay But VS has to come at a new angle, go back to the more elegant and sexy style it used to be and market that super heavy.

I understand you 100% because I became a fan of her initially because I loved her as a model (her work and on the runway), but she just happens to have become much sexier since she started, but I was a huge fan already. Before I had known people admired her hair, but I stll didn't know she was widely considered beautiful in general until I came here. But keep in mind I'm a huge fan of Sasha and don't find her attractive at all . But with Cintia, I actually am attracted to her, but I don't think she's 'gorgeous' or wowed by her level of beauty necessarily, but I think she's 'cute' and one of my favorite SI bodies, but she appeals to me more intangibly than technically . Her voice just makes me melt and when she's on the runway she's like a queen to me . And its those intangibles combined with her unique and above average looks that fascinate me .
