You're saying that like it's a bad thing Des. Have you ever run your computer with the side panel taken off to expose the bare motherboard? Huh? It's actually much more roomy, not only do you minimize the amount of dust settlement on it but it also aides overall performance by allowing more cool air to come into the system. It's like walking around the house in your boxers.

Actually, that increases the dust settlement on it. It just means that all the components get dustier that much quicker. It certainly makes a huge difference to temperature though; and it wouldn't really affect performance (drastically), at least not enough to notice, but the temp change is really quite remarkable Vs with the cover left on.
