^It's an almost tectonic shift to today!

I have to say, I never cared for Mulder or Pestova - and was mostly indifferent to the others (but, blimey, Heidi was gorgeous back then). Helena Christensen was my "Angel" of the day really ( ), although I was so massively blissed-up with my ex at that time that I barely even registered anybody else!!!

^Yes , that's what I was meaning by the shift - in terms of 'class' and demographic. There's definitely been a shift "youthwards", but I suppose that's indicative of such things in general..? Although I'm far more enamoured of Behati than this 'vintage crop', I agree some element of elegance and lack-of-attainability has been lost since then (it's amazing to think, given our perception of them now, that either Heidi or Tyra could be accused of 'elegance'! ).

I believe Laetitia Casta is still a frequent botherer of European cinema screens though, in reference to "the others kind of settled down more quietly". I would imagine she remains a bigger star than the others there?

^I suppose it depends on who you find attractive as an "Angel" to begin with... I mean, not being from the US, I was blissfully unaware of the significance of that title until I joined here! Like most others I just saw the show and was vaguely aware of the catalogue, and didn't know a hierarchy existed within. Indeed, until Behati became a quasi-"Angel" in 2008, there was no correlation between who I found most attractive at the VSFS and who VS themselves wanted me to like!

I'd seen the 2001 show on FTV, which first piqued my interest into VS - and the next time I saw it was 2003, in which I liked Ana Beatriz Barros the best. Come 2005 and I was still unaware of any great division between the "Angels" and the rest - barring the titles the main girls weren't really referred to as such (aside from opening/closing I guess - and there were still massive discrepancies in that). It was only since 2006 that VS have pushed their agenda onto the show itself (like I said, not being in the US I wasn't privy to commercials or other public appearances, or even the 2004 "Angels Across America" tour).

So, the 2005 group were OK in my eyes. I disliked the later additions of Izabel Goulart (my notorious model 'blind-spot' ), the unimaginative and basic choice of Marisa Miller, and the just plain unattractive Selita more - whilst I blow hot and cold with Doutzen Kroes and, although I quite like Miranda Kerr, she hardly interests me. Weirdly, though I agree with your points, in Behati, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Chanel Iman I have the highest percentage of interest in "Angels" than I've ever had!

For me - in the shows I've watched proper since 2003 - this was what the Baronometer registered:

2003: Ana Beatriz Barros, Mini Anden, Carmen Kass

2005: Natasha Poly, Inguna Butane, Ana Beatriz Barros, Doutzen Kroes

2006: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Natasha Poly, Flavia de Oliveira, Morgane Dubled

2007: Candice Swanepoel, Inguna Butane, Behati Prinsloo

2008: Behati Prinsloo, Inguna Butane, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Flavia de Oliveira, Morgane Dubled

2009: Behati Prinsloo, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Edita Vilkeviciute, Miranda Kerr, Chanel Iman

2010: Behati Prinsloo, Magdalena Frackowiak, Gracie Carvalho, Isabeli Fontana, Chanel Iman

There's some science-FACT for you!!!

What is this ""Monange Dream Fashion Tour"? There seems to be two shows- a 2010 and a 2011. It's a VS type thing but with less cheese! I know very little about it!

^She might well have been (and, truth told, she probably was) - but this a 100% selfish list, and I simply don't find her that attractive... Her "Angel" status was of no interest to me!

Given the choice (and within the realms of possibility) I'd have Behati, Magdalena, Rosie, Chanel, Marloes and Cintia as my "Angels" and I'd be right - because it's my choice! I couldn't care less for most of the recent, and current, line-ups - and actively dislike one or two...

I think the only shows I've seen were that one everyone here said was terrible (forgot the year ) and I saw the one where Behati had that skit and some of the one where Maryna wore that yellow thing .

Many people don´t find her that attractive but I love her - not loved her from the beginning, I thought she was such a regular babe, with not really stunning face - then I started to like her and now she has one of the best bodies in industry (I would kill to have it) and her face is for me. But I admit, that her speaking abilities have raise my respect to her and love.
