Have you heard of "Vagabond"?

The story is a fictionalized life of the swordsman "Miyamoto Musashi". This might be your thing. I haven't read it, but have flipped through the volumes. The art is, in my view, much, much better than standard Japanese fare. Of course, they couldn't resist making the Japanese people look like white people

Musashi wrote "Book of Five Rings", which is the focused on mental tactics in single combat. I read several passages a long time ago- it seems to be useful in sports and martial arts.

Never heard about it, but the drawings look amazing!

I was a massive fan of Gatchaman (or Battle Of The Planets, or G-Force) as a kid - which was a Japanese cartoon series that got kind of mangled up to make it more palatable for 'western' audiences. Of course, I was in love with the female character Jun/Princess too (damn those 2D girls, getting me all confused as a boy!). Again though, it would seem somewhat typical, they were all 'white', westernised, in appearance...

I believe Sasha 'always' had them, some people have bags under their eyes even if they are well rested.

I don't know about Jessica because I don't follow her career from the very beginning, but from what I've heard, she likes to party A LOT. So yeah, I guess lack of sleep also contributes to that

I did not mention it, but I did wonder if these women were known to use cocaine :evil: I like Sasha's look a lot (except for the bags).., and her bags are really..extreme..she carries them in the majority of her modeling photos. Given how competitive modeling is- I am surprised to see that it has not been a significant detriment to her!

Maybe that's why her nose got so thin But of course, I can't say how true these stories are... though I've read numerous times about Vodianova doing coke too so idk. It may be true but it may not be as well...

Without needing (or wanting) to name names, modelling and coke have been frequent bedfellows over the years - just like smoking, champagne and fucking about with rock stars. But bags are bags, and - as was stated - Sasha's always seemed to have had them in her career...

Hey, Baron , which would you rather date if you had to choose between Lady Gaga and Macy Gray? I heard some guys talking about it and one said Gaga because she was at least somewhat fit and the other said Macy because she had the weed . But its just a date I guess and doesn't have to go beyond that. I guess sometimes people can be good company when you give them a chance and sit and talk for awhile .

I don't know. Given that it's a date as opposed to a performance I suppose I'd have to go with Gaga - as Macy Gray has an incredibly annoying speaking voice. Plus, I get the impression that Gaga's 'weirdness' is contrived, and she's probably alright beneath that façade - whereas I suspect Macy Gray IS bonkers and, like I said, that's a risk!

But, as with Jennka, I'm intrigued by this out-of-the-blue question. What prompted it, and what would be your answer?

It's been almost a week and I miss him, but we talk every day so that's making it a little easier. I still have serious anxiety over the whole thing, but it's slowly getting better.

I was referring to "First Love"- which is basically "Naive love". That which is new can be especially strange and exciting for the first time I have a lot of capacity for loving and the ability of diving deep into someone else's thoughts if I want to-... that's the easy part for me!

now that´s great so you meant the first, naive one when everything is new and it never will be the same. Yeah, lots of people keep telling me this. It avoided me, so I can´t really tell.

I've been in love with three women, Jennka. I haven't been very successful with any of the three. I can only manage it well for an intense couple of months, and then I get very negligent & become heavily diverted once my interest wanes. I'm a loving boyfriend and absolutely loyal... but not a good one. Love requires the kind of long term permanent attention that I am often not willing to give. I've grown weary of hurting other people and hurting myself.

It's just what I've learned about myself through experience, Jennka. Falling into love has always seriously damaged the quality of my work & career, autodidactism, trading & Long term goals. I have to give up one to have the other, and I'm not willing to make that trade off. I'm the type of person that does only a handful of things at any one time in life and I tend to devote considerable energy, focus, and depth to each.

And given my family background and heath....I will probably have a life expectancy of 90-100 years, Jennka. Getting married @ 40 or 50? I wonder if that would be nicer!?

The first thread of it was the most 'juicy' one (I think the thread got divided into 4 parts now, but I'm not too sure) which had stories about Lera Sheremata and why her career didn't took off (girl's behaviour was so silly) and stories about Suvi Koponen and Vlada R. showing they are less innocent than they look

Yes, I'm actually still on holiday - so my appearances here are somewhat sporadic at the moment. Currently in the UK until Friday, when I'll be off to Paris (with a weekend in Normandy for a wedding inbetween)... I note it's Haute Couture week in Paris - and that both Behati and Magdalena are currently there too.
