What do you think about the whole Adam & Anna V thing that's been building up for months?I find it rather artificial. Do you think that it is enhancing their public image?

-I saw a really nice picture of Lindsay Ellingson from the show's backstage, with wings, looked really adorable

Adam and Anna thing <_< I liked Maroon 5 as hell some years ago... but got bored of them with time. And this whole love story is just hilarious. Getting on my nerves. SO exaggerated <_< will we never get rid of Heidi + Seal in other package? Helooo I know you love each other, but why the hell all the others should be interested in it... no way.

I think I'm becoming more and more insular when it comes to the VSFS - as in who I care about in the slightest. I know you don't like Magda, and I know you know I do - and I was upset not to see her. 
After Behati, she was the one I was most excited about seeing, and so without her there too I was just a bit, well - blah!
Since Rosie's no longer with them, and that (for whatever idiotic reasons) they decided not to cast Marloes, Cintia or Aurelia Gliwski, I realised it was only Behati I really cared about... I mean I do like Chanel a lot, and then I think Candice is a great walker, and Flavia and Miranda always look cute at the show - but care? 
So yeah, Karlie's inclusion piqued my curiosity - but I haven't been 'wowed' by what I've seen. I think she's great editorially - but looked a tad gawky in the costumes. This Bregje lady looks interesting, but requires further investigation(!), and, yeah, Shanina, I'm with you on that - she's pretty but it's no great shakes to me... 
The only 'new' face that made me properly pay attention was Joan Smalls. 
She can wear lingerie!
I agree - Lindsay looked very nice on the night. I kind of ebb and flow with her, but from what I've seen she was one of the best. I instantly forget Caroline and Julia are there every year - and Ale to, to a degree. 
You can't forget Adriana is there - but that's not necessarily a compliment. 
What the hell was all that rolling around on tables backstage? No doubt it was all "fabulous" I'm sure... <_< Anja? NO! Shannon and Erin looked pretty, and I wasn't wrong about Flavia and Miranda (although she looked throughly miserable in the vast majority of the shots I've seen 
). Chanel's looking better each year as far as I'm concerned, and it was nice to see her bum!
As for Behati - well I think it was a snub that she didn't open PINK. 
She's done a great job for three years, but I guess they wanted to change it up? But Erin's never been that girl - and it looked a bit of a half-arsed opening, with a lacklustre outfit too. Nonetheless, Behati shines both times she appears on the catwalk, and once again looked like she was having the most fun backstage. Her after-show dress was a winner too - but I'm completely biased and blinkered when it comes to her, although this is my thread so I should be allowed to eulogise my favourite shouldn't I?!!
I've given up on critiquing the costumes. They descend into farce half the time. Have to say though, given my superhero fetish I was rather pleased with that segment. I'd rather it didn't have Kanye and Jay Z pissing about during it though, and the choice of number seemed - at best - unrelated! 
Didn't give a shit about any of the music acts really - but I don't know if it's just me, but every time I see Adam Levine I want to punch him?

I don't know if there was any slur intended there(?) - but I take the fact that 'humanities' as education courses don't necessarily prepare us for anything useful. That said, I do think that the much maligned 'Media Studies' is actually very useful in order to understand press/television manipulation and the ease in which mob mentality is generated by them.
And, actually, I studied writing and now I am a writer (of a fashion) so I suppose it did work!

Don't need to get browbeaten every time they're in the vicinity of each other.Saw a clip from the show that has Orlando Bloom standing and applauding Miranda as she does a turn too. OK - WE GET IT! What is this fascination with reminding us every about 'couples' VSFS has? It's alright, we haven't forgotten, we're not goldfish. And if you weren't aware of it before you'll probably be none the wiser anyway - unless this year they're going to go further and have a bloody rolling commentary at the foot of the screen like news channels, telling us 'pertinent' information about every single member of the audience and occasionally focussing on a model or two if we're lucky... :baronlamesign:

No, definitely not Baron. I am not the type of person to do something like that. In fact, I almost never have the judgmental feeling at all. I have learned that it is a waste of emotion and generally a product of incomplete understanding. Anyway, I find the humanities essential.
One of my best friends and mentors was a former professor of political economy.
My mother's work is regularly published in papers and magazines.
I'm just referring to the common tendency for the 'third Generation' (there are fables of this in many cultures) to move towards contributing towards the fine arts after a certain material standard of living is obtained. For instance, in the US, 75% or so of working class university students eventually go into trade fields (medicine, law, engineering, science, business, etc.) for the money while a considerably larger portion of the upper class devote their time to the fine arts, filmmaking, music, literature and so forth. The middle class is kind of 'in between' as far as this trend is concerned. It seems to be the same in other countries, as well.
I'm with Baron and Jennka when it comes to Anne+Adam (or any other 'VS' couple really!), in fact I really dislike 99% of couples who decide to do interviews about their love 
every time I read an interview with a celeb couple talking about their love, or worse, having a reality show about their 'perfect' marital life... not only majority of them ends up in bitter break-ups, but how can they demand privacy when they're not asking for it? so maybe there are 2 or 3 couples who are pretty much open about their relationship that I don't mind but as for the rest of them.... GTFO. And I don't follow Miranda and her career, but to me it seemed like that time she walked Dior and Orlando was all cheer-y about her.... I don't know, to me it seemed like she didn't find it adorable and would probably stop him if she could but maybe that's just the impression I got. Orlando seems like he's much more into Miranda than she is into him, so maybe that's why.
No, now I think it's not only about celeb couples. I had this girl from my school (who I never talked to, but she kept adding me so I gave up after the second time I rejected her invite and saw she invited me again <_< ) who would change her status for 'in relationship' every 2 weeks with a new guy, being all 'hearty' in her statuses and putting pictures of her new love SO glad I finally got rid of her from my list, and I doubt she noticed haha.

Hey I think I got my 'conspiracy' theory about Rosie not being at the VSFS! Either VS didn't need more couples involving their models or maybe Rosie was like 'no, I'm not gonna be all lovey-dovey with my Statham, I'm not here for that'. What do you think, B? 
I don't get the company's logic. From what I know, Magda and Marloes appeared in the last few PINK related catalogs quite frequently, so unless they weren't booked for something else at the time, I don't get why they didn't walk the show.
