To me Hanne looks sick on many photos. Like... too sick. I read somewhere she had a break in modelling at the beginning of her career because of an accident she was involved in, she had many bones broken and had to be hospitalized for a year :| Ok, now I feel bad for saying she shouldn't be a model... not really

What do you guys think of Hanne-Gaby Odiele? She's the strangest looking top model right next to Gemma Ward... huge forehead and cheekbones for a woman..and I still haven't figured out what niche she tends to satisfy:

She looks either intimidating or alien-like in most photos..

I think a slight 'alien' quality goes a long way in setting models apart from "pretty" girls. (Not that this is groundbreaking thesis - but since it's relevant..!) But it's a fine line - (for me) Gemma is weird/lovely, Hanne-Gaby is weird/weird; but I've no doubt there's a place for her as there is for many distinctive new girls each season. 'Sick' isn't a revolutionary new thing either, and whether or not I'd want to sleep with any of them carries little credence to the doyens of the fashion world too!

Just to be clear, I didn't mean her being skinny-which she is, but she's a model so duh. I meant it in a way that to me, she looks like she has cold all the time. And that dark eye make-up+no eyebrows look which she has quite often.... doesn't help.

And I've discovered that she looks better when her forehead and cheekbones are marginalized by...hair!!!
