I do feel for her a bit and I'm still trying to get her to cool it, but some of the stuff I'm getting back suggests she's unlikely to listen to reason anytime soon. This PM in particular made my head spin...

Putting it into that context I do feel for her as well Although some of her behaviors & posts are concerning, and she does set herself up to be targeted I do understand why she feels hurt and upset.

I sent her an email last week about uploading images onto a host. She hasn't responded yet. Maybe she still needs time to calm down b/c she is still annoyed with us :notsure:

Smurf563 looks to be the same person as above. There location is idetical to SalsaRedBird and OMG, I'm going to go ahead and ban them, can you do a IP ban hun?

sorry i wasn't aware I had another account before creating my Smurf one, it was a genuine mistake and wasn't wanting to cause any harm I honestly couldn't remeber creating it and was recommended to the forum by a friend

Slowen's been upsetting Kate's fans for some time now with his constant snarky jabs at the model each chance he gets.

I've been him an informal warning in the SI thread for this. If he doesn't back off and stop sounding like a broken record when it comes to certain models I'll be giving him an actual warning.

Cleaned up a few inappropriate posts in the Bar Refaeli thread.

Then this user decided to chime in and criticize my moderating whilst repeating some of the remarks I had deleted.

I have deleted that post and sent them a PM warning to cease and desist or get a formal warning.

Seems to be a lot of members have been testy recently. Perhaps something to do with the moon or global warming affecting people's behaviors ?

I was asked by ILuv for some type of exception to the no quoting images rule in regards to editing his posts. I told him that I will not make any exception to any rule due to the fact that if someone who I don't associate with says, 'why did you edit mine and not theirs?' I would have no valid response. I know the last time quoting pictures was automatically taken away and we were unable to quote emoticons either. I hope it doesn't come to that because I find that quoting a post with the emoticon taken out leaves something somewhat lost in translation. For example, these two are interpreted differently...

So it seems to me that members should simply quote a link of the picture as the announcement says while the rule is on the books that is.

The quoting images & video thing isn't a rule...is it??? It is more of something members should be mindful of when they quote. Not everyone here has the luxury of viewing the site on an actual computer or laptop. It is often frustrating when you are on a mobile device to go through a thread with a bunch of quotes images & videos---esp. posts that has been quoted multiple times....back to back

I am not sure do we want to officially a rule? :notsure: That might mean more work for us. And I am not sure how to convey the rule update to members. I think we have the capability in the ACP to send bulk emails/PMs. Perhaps we could do it that way???

We could disable all images & videos in showing up in quotes, but like Joe said it would disable smiles as well

I edited the announcement yesterday b/c I realized it was not clear that if someone would like to quote images or videos they should textlink or delete everything but the title of the post (if available)

I am sure we could figure out how to disable quoting of images but letting smiles pass. I just havent had any time. Maybe in a few weeks I can take a look (if you guys remind me )

^ That would be great if you could work your magic and create something that would disable quoted images & videos without disabling the smilies

Something I noticed is when attachments are quote they are automatically textlinked. I know you are working on something that would upload all posted images onto our server. Perhaps that would resolve the quoted image issue If so, then all you have to do is  create something that would disable quoted videos (media)
