Well I think we need to decide how many we will add before we contact anyone. Don't want to have more folks agreeing than we want to add to the roster.

Or do we contact all four and just see which are interested? That could mean we would be adding up to four new moderators in one go, that seems a bit much to me... But I'm not against it if the rest of you feel that's the way to go.

Well, if it has to be narrowed down or raise the bar, I wouldn't mind weeding out the ones that have never reported any infraction in any shape form or fashion. Here's how I'd rank the prospects...

1. Michael* - the best conduct out of the group (with Berno slightly behind) and visits a wide range of forums and reports from time to time.

2. CarMelita - would be number one if she didn't have a warning, but I think that was due to cultural differences even back then and she's long reformed. She would be number 1 otherwise because she's the only one that's actually asked and has reported far and away more than the rest.

3. Berno - same as Michael* just slightly more prone to arguments, but otherwise the same.

4. ILUVAdrianaLima - tied with Michael* in the conduct area I think, but I don't think he's around regularly enough.

5. donbot - based on conduct rates slightly below Berno and is only last because, unlike the others, I've never known him to report any kind of infraction ever in any shape or form.

So, if its 2 then the top 2 would be my 2 and if its 3, the top 3 are my 3 is what I would say .

Lets agree on three new moderators then. Unless someone else has an objection?

We can contact Michael*, CarMelita and Berno. Assuming one of them declines, we then go further down your list Joe.

I gave them all a message in the same minute (not the exact same message, typed separately and pasted and sent in the same minute that is). Now all have responded with Michael* saying yesturday that he'd be honored and he was a mod on a forum simular to this and CarMelita answered today and said she had been asking for years and is glad to finally have an offer. So there we are .

Woohoo. So we have three new mods.

So can I go ahead and add them to the Global Moderators group?

Okay, so I added all three of them to the moderator groups and sent them a PM to confirm their appointment.

Should expect a visit from them in here whenever they next sign on.

Geez, I can't believe I'm a mod now, thank you so much for your trust in me! Since I'm still at the office and just sneaked in during lunch, I haven't got the time to read through all the guidelines, but I will once I'm at home and I swear I'll do my best to be an enoooooormously helpful member of the staff!

Just asking what normal protocol here would be, i can remove the images but then there'd be nearly a full thread of meaningless edited posts from me. Should the posts be deleted altogether or.... ?

As I stated earlier, the report button isn't working at the moment (when its working, the reports will instantly go to your pm box), so just some brainstorming for whenever anyone is ready but looking for something to do...

Berno - I know your favorite is the male models, so give Maui some help down there, j/k . I think you visit fashion models and sports the most? The sports seems to take care of itself, but nudity and arguing seem to be the main thing on the model side.

CarMelita - I'd start off with the Model ID topic thread. If you'd help me finish deleting the dead links, that would be a huge help. The ones you labeled "pointless" are a bit more subjective though, so we could probably leave those for now.

Michael* - You probably have more recreational visits to the Actress forum than the rest of us and as many visits to the Singer's as me, so know that its pretty much a sespool of hotlinking. People usually go there to subtly advertise their sites through hotlinking and most figure staff mostly visits the model's forum. You can pretty much click properties on a random pic and it be hotlinked more often than one would think.

That's just brainstorming of course, whether you choose to have a niche and help out with what you see or just be a freelance ranger, the forum is bigger than ever (more members and posts) so there's plenty to go around and I have faith that you will all find your way .

:| @ the probe and oops my computer's not the fastest, so you probably posted that during the time I had left with mine still processing . Anyway, I find that for most hotlinking offenders, the majority of their posts are usually hotlinked, so I just predetermine a certain amount to do at a time and chip away at it like that. As to deleting them, I try to not just delete them because if someone responded to it, then it looks like they're just talking to themselves and it messes up the balance. If its a topic where they're the only one that's posted, whether to just delete all but the first post is up to you. I just have my infraction speeches on a notepad (because the system puts weird symbals on things copied from Word) and replace the hotlinked images with that.

After checking LF's earlier post regarding illegal downloading, I've just removed three threads from the movies section, all of which were offering free movie rips.
