Fair enough. I wouldn't want to go down the route of removing the posts or anything - of course, it goes without saying that every member is entitled to their views. I'd mainly just question whether it's necessary to have three threads serving the same purpose. Surely, one 'criticism' thread is plenty.

For now, I'll resist the temptation to post 'STOP YOUR BLOODY WHINGING' in large black k_dub-esque letters across each thread.

And yes, just what I expected. Once you try to nail them on something everything's okay all of a sudden and you're the best mod on earth. Not that I complain hearing I'm awesome ... ... but some people seriously need to get a life

They were obviously meant to attract the attention of the staff, if not plain bait us into responding.

There are a lot of youngin' on the forum that have not reached the development level to truly comprehend certain concepts and consider things beyond themselves. I am not making this stuff up--it is has been supported in many research. Advertisers use this towards their advantage but that is another topic.

That's interresting that you bring that up CarMelita and Michael* because I was thinking about the same thing . That's true about the maturity thing Pink. It seems some are also a strange combination of immature and from tfs and want us to do things their way as well, which is a strange irony because a lot of the foolishness we allow here isn't really a staple of tfs I don't think which is part of what makes us unique as long as its in good taste that is.

To me, even the original thread I created myself about the three things has lost relevance to me because when I created it as a member, I had the idea for it to be what members and staff could do together rather than the same few people's daily complaints and rants about random things. To be honest, I think this current staff lineup especially now with the addition of Pink, I think this staff is pretty efficient myself so I figured the staff rants would disapate for awhile. Of course some may think that may seem somewhat relative because I felt like I was drowning for a nice stretch there, but I really do think you guys are doing a great job anyway . Even though there aren't as many reports so we have to wing it in the general threads, having you to help in Site and Forum has been a huge load off . I tried to make this shorter, but I type fast and things come out longer than I intend somehow .

How come the reports have dried up to that extent? Did folks just break the habit when the reporting function was down?

ILUVAdriana Lima wants to dedicate a thread for liika ... any thoughts?

I'll definitely have to vote yes on that one . The popularity thing is a good point since she posts mostly in the less popular side of the forum. I can say for a fact that she is very well liked by those that interract with her on the Babes side, so if she were in theory three times more popular on the dude side then she would probably be one of the most popular members. That last part is just theory as I don't frequent the male model threads of course.

I don't know her as well as you do, but I'm not opposed to her getting a thread.

As for the thread for liika, since nobody seems to have something against it, I'll tell ILUVAdrianaLima he can start one when I'm at home, so if anyone got anything against liika's thread there's still time to say it until approx. 19.30 h

Most likely in the minority here, but why do we need more staff? Sorry I'm not seeing a need Just remove the dead weight and we're golden. Everything is running as smoothly as it can, and adding more ppl isn't really going to change how things are around here.

I'd personally like to give credit where it's due. PC, Michael, Carm, Joe and Myself (not trying to discredit what other staff have done in the past) have really been on the ball when it comes to deleting threads, moving threads, dealing with the cry babies, banning or removing spammers, keeping the peace, cleaning up sigs, editing posts and the like, and at this point only MD can tweak the structure files, so until he gives someone else access to them, nothing can done on our side to make BZ run smoother on any technical level.

On another note I got a report on a thread that was opened for a 10 year girl (Thylane Blondeau) by viola0605.

I quickly removed the thread and sent a PM viola0605 letting them know that it's generally not excepted to have threads for people that under age on Bellazon as it often leads to too much controversy and upsets people.

viola0605 sent me a pm back and wasn't happy but understood. For future clarification, what is BZ's official stance on making threads for girls that young? Also what's the acceptable age limit where we can start threads for them? 13, 14, 15, 16?

I agree that ten years is too young, but I do believe we've had threads for youngish teenagers in the past, though I couldn't say for sure how young the youngest model was. The youngest I can find after a quick search is Barbara Palvin, her thread seems to have been created when she was 14.5...

We certainly had quite a few threads started for models under 18. It seems a complicated matter, since it's not uncommon for a model to start out that young, but it is a bit awkward for us to have topics devoted to such young individuals.

Sorry to be off topic but is everyone getting email replies (if you are subscribed to a thread). I think the email system is now working smoothly, hopefully they dont blacklist me again for having a misconfigured mailserver

liika - An admin needs to open the section for ILUVAdrianaLima to start the thread. Tell him once he has composed and gathered all the contents to let me know via PM, so I can open the the section. I prefer not leave the section open for members to start unapproved threads. That has happen before.

I could imagine a bunch of members requesting personal threads now. If that is the case, perhaps we should try to spread them out? Like a month or so before another thread is started?

I think we had a similar discussion about this a few years ago that the minimum age is 13. For some reason it was never added int to the rules. We can obviously further discuss this if any feels another age is more appropriate
