I don't know, if it were up to me I'd put the age limit at 16, but I guess that isn't realistic when runway models often start out much younger than that...

Sweet Lu - NO!

liika - An admin needs to open the section for ILUVAdrianaLima to start the thread. Tell him once he has composed and gathered all the contents to let me know via PM, so I can open the the section. I prefer not leave the section open for members to start unapproved threads. That has happen before.

I could imagine a bunch of members requesting personal threads now. If that is the case, perhaps we should try to spread them out? Like a month or so before another thread is started?

I think we need objective rules about whom deserves a thread more than any rigid frequency of thread creation. I'm okay with two new member threads in one week, but I'm also okay with there being 3, 4, 5 months between the creation of two threads. A person should get the thread once they are deemed worthy.

Which brings me back to my original point, we probably should have some internal rules so that we can have a few objective parameters to determine who should get a thread.

I feel the process is a bit too subjective at the moment. I myself am guilty of this. As a matter of fairness to the members, we should at least have a few easily weighed parameters we apply to all requests.

What those might be, I leave open to discussion.

I would start out with these:

  • The member has to be registered on the forum for at least a year
  • During that time, the member has to average at least 5 posts a day (the majority of which are not pip-posts to up their post count)
  • During the last six months before the thread request, the member should not have been suspended or received an infraction
  • The member should receive a thread creation request from at least two different active members

Are we sure the report function works? I just reported one of my own posts as a test and did not get any message...

The last generation of admins set it up so only mods get reports. For some reason I sometimes get the report PM's too. If we think everyone should get the PM's I think I can set it up when I get home later.

I reported a post? Someone reported my post? Whaaaat?

Quick fav here. I was browsing thru the forum as i usually do and of course noticed memeber: Nightlife - who has obviously been a long time member and outstanding buddy to many here.

So with all that said I've come to realize that this good fellow needs his own thread desperately. I think he's more then earned it and it be great to see him in the male hall of game.

But as a side not i was wondering if u could have Baron start his thread. He has a oh so eloquent way of putting things as they need to be said

Hopefully u take my suggestion into consideration

Based on the new guidelines, this is considered one nomination---I never heard from Baron so I didn't count his.

I don't Nightlife makes an average of 5 post per day though.

Anyways, I vote yes b/c he seems like a nice and friendly guy who rarely starts any trouble

Need your opinion on this post:

http://www.bellazon.com/main/index.php?s=&...t&p=2802313

I suspect that who-ever posted those shots to the "fake" FB account actually got them from her real FB. Do we allow obviously private shots of models to remain on our forum?

^ If the images are easily accessible to the general public then it is ok to post. Although there is no way of proving it---it is one of those things that we note and hope members would be respectful enough to comply. Unless Candice or her peeps contacts us and tells us to take it down I will just let it be for now.

Once you post something there is no knowing where it will end up. Whether or not it is a from fake or real Candice FB account, the real Candice should know when she post something, even on her personal FB, there is a good chance it will end up somewhere else.

What I find most concerning about the post is it is hotlinked When visiting a thread make sure to take a moment to check the embedded images aren't hotlinked. Thanks!

He does have a valid point...

WHY ARE PEOPLE USEING PORN SITES TO UPLOAD PICS?!! :yuckky: (imgchili or something)

Why not use.. say photobucket or something WITHOUT porn?!!

I think there are some here who's minor age? Or am I wrong?

Badboy

I know some boards ask members not to host images on the "adult section" of hosting sites. Perhaps we can implement something like that?

Thoughts, comments, suggestions please

The issue with using the non-adult section of photo-upload services is that it can lead to the almost immediate deletion of any picture that shows a bit of skin.

Considering we have a very VS-centric forum, that might prove to be a problem.

^ I think "adult" means more in terms of nudity (bare breast, nipplege, genitals, pornographic images, etc.). Lingerie should be ok. Besides it is usually when someone reports an image does it get deleted by the host---with the exception of Imageshack, Photobucket and tinypic.

I've personally had lingerie pictures deleted from both Imageshack and Imagebam...

Sorry to be off topic but is everyone getting email replies (if you are subscribed to a thread). I think the email system is now working smoothly, hopefully they dont blacklist me again for having a misconfigured mailserver

Let me know, thanks

Maddog, it works perfectly for me. It's really really helpful!

EDIT:

CarMELita, I went ahead and PM'ed ILUVAdrianaLima about the thread since I haven't heard from him yet.

Thanks a lot for taking care of it, Pink

Very good idea to set up some rules, but I would be stricter.

Members should be registered for more than 1 year in my opinion and shouldn't have been suspended ever for we really only suspend in hard cases, don't we.

Plus I agree there should be some time between the creating of new threads, at least a month.

I got a request from DanniCullen for katchitup:

I wanted to ask/request if katchitup can have a topic. I asked Joe and he said to ask you/PC. Me and katchitup have been here for almost 2years now and she's quite an active member. Of course, just asking.

Maybe we should start an internal topic for those requests to keep track?

I clicked on a link to imgchili and got a girl masturbating right in fron of me saying "click me" before I got the chance to see a glimpse of the pic, so I deleted those and ask for using a different imagehost.

I myself use imageupper which in Nudity cases also leads to nude advertising, but you can easily find your way out of it ("Skip this ad"-button right on top) so I always assumed there was no way to get around those pornish advertising ... is there a host that allows the upload of nude pictures without spamming us with porn ads?
