I have hired someone on Elance hopefully in the next week or 2 we should see some cool new stuff. First project is to download external images so that we have no more dependance on these porn image hosts (and old images will work forever)

Hadn't thought of that, but yes it does as the image will be immediately processed and downloaded locally.

new server, faster CPU, more memory and a lot more disks for the image download project (hope its enough though, it may not be in which case ill be very sad and out of a lot more money )

im keeping the forums alive by rebooting apache/mysql every day or two once it gets slow. I have the new server online but am having some troubles moving the data from the old server to the new so its not active yet. I will talk with provider tomorrow to see whats up.

and yes, the ads are enough to cover the costs, BZ isn't about the money. Long as its not costing me anything I am happy.

Guys, now that we've blacklisted Imagesion, do we want rid of all the posts using it as a host? I know they're only textlinks now, but I've spotted a few as of late and been tempted to just delete them. Thought I should check first though.

^ Please go ahead and delete them There are also other affiliated hosts I blacklisted so you could delete those too. Don't feel obligated to get all of them. Just delete as many as you can. Thank you!

If you blacklist them all the links become just regular text. You dont have to delete them as the image downloader will still process them and download their images. If you delete them then the images are gone forever.
