Question: I could have sworn I made a post in Johanna Lundback's thread yesterday, but the post seems to be missing.
Was it deleted for some reason?
I did a quick search and was able to locate it

I know we had this discussion before but should we not consider abolishing some of the model subforums?
Those things date back all the way to when this forum was founded and the structure of the forum it was meant to replace (ChilaX) was recreated.
It made sense back when those girls still generated a huge chunk of our traffic. But today that is certainly no longer the case.
Apart from Adri and (to a lesser extent) Gisele's subforums, the others certainly no longer generate the traffic to warrant their own subforum.
e.g. all of Petra's subforum had a grand total of 15 posts in the past 30 days.
It might cause some friction and resistance, but abolishing them (or even just the ones that barely attract attention or create activity) would be a more fair reflection of our members' current interests.
Thoughts?
I think we should (for now at least) keep Adriana, Ale and Gisele's subforums. All three are still quite active. As for Petra and ABB, we could just merge the threads.
I do like the idea of eventually getting rid of model subforums because it would "level the playing field" so to speak.
Speaking of, is there an easy way to do both a page-view and post-log on those subforums in the admin CP?
I am not sure I understand what you mean by "page-view" and "post-log". Could you please clarify? ![]()

Oh I meant an easy way to see the stats for pageviews and posts in each of the subforums over specific amounts of time. Like one month or six months. ![]()

^ Ahh...ok. I only know how to view the overall posts and views--not for the individual threads and subforums. Sorry ![]()
I am sure MD knows how to do it ![]()

I would like to get rid of them as well, my only concern is the logistics, if we just merge all their threads is going to be impossible for anyone to read/follow. I wonder if there would be a way we could simply treat it as a regula thread that would rise and fall based on posts but if you click it you would see all the subtreads. Let me look into it.

^ Could we lock & archive the subforums as references, and start "regular" threads for each of models with the last 5 posts as the starting posts?

I like this idea. ![]()

And where would we stash the archive subfourms? I thought we wanted to have less threads in there? Maybe I didnt understand ![]()

^ We just need to create a new section within Female Models to house the subforum threads. Like what I did for VSFS 2000's and
VSFS 1990's. Within in those, there are subforum links for years that have multiple threads (ex. 2009) ![]()

I've noticed it is usually this time of the year most members can't keep their crazies in check, and their true obsessive, stalker-ish and delusional self shows
As I said before, they behave as if someone burned down their home and killed their whole family. I wondering, is there a way BZ could provide members with complimentary Xanax or Valium during this time of year??? (Y) Perhaps we could ask the government or pharmaceutical companies for support since we are doing a public service??? ![]()

Maddog I had a technical question for you.
How would one go about making this service compatible with BZ?

It's pretty brilliant considering that it reduces the size of a GIF to less then one tenth. It also adds play/pause/fastforward controls to the looped little video.
Apparently it's enough to embed this bit of JS code somewhere on the page to then activate the controls:
<script> (function(d, t) { var g = d.createElement(t), s = d.getElementsByTagName(t)[0]; g.src = 'http://assets.gfycat.com/js/gfyajax-0.517d.js'; s.parentNode.insertBefore(g, s);}(document, 'script'));</script>Posting the GFYcat JS link should then be enough to embed the image (the link of my example image):
<img class="gfyitem" data-id="TintedDeterminedChafer" />

Thanks SS, looks interesting, just have to figure out how to integrate it as I somehow have to put that wrapper on it for each GIF. Right now we dont have GIF tags so need to make sure it doesnt interfere with reglar images if I put it on the image tag.

Also I am curious as how they make money or how they provide the service, cloudfront is not cheap nor is the bandwidth they are pushing.

Just wanted to wish everyone a happy Christmas and the best for you and your families.
Thanks for making BZ so great ![]()

Merry Christmas maddog! ![]()

PM sent to me at tFS from Joe > Average that he wants me to share:
Hello citizens of Bellazon
. For reasons unknown to me, the reply function is not working for me. In specific terms, my cursor doesn't work in the reply portion rendering me unable to respond. Even this signature message was copied and pasted for me by another staff member. For all inquiries regarding the site, feel free to contact me via my Bellazon email or another staff member. Please know that no personal messages sent to me during this period were ignored although I will not read any of them at this time as the inability to respond to them would be rather frustrating. My apologies for the inconvenience and thank you.

Hello everyone
!
Thanks
! I now see that my computer in the country was using Explorer version 5
. Of course, it didn't have problems with anything else and it worked on tfs obviously. Even though I have the most recent Explorer in the city, this site still only works for me with firefox for some reason.

Pretty sure Invision Power Board (Forum software) doesnt support IE5 (~1999 :|) So yes FF or Chrome (or simply update IE) would be your only choice.

I'm moving on Sunday and will have a 3 day drive ahead of me
So I may be away for a week.

Yeah, well that was in the deep country and I'm back in the city now. I should probably update down there anyway though. I was wondering if there were any thoughts on something. In the part where it lists the staff members or somewhere on the site, I was thinking about a 'previously served' list for staff members. I didn't know most of them the way you all did, so I don't know the circumstances of each case of course but think it would be nice to have that little acknowledgement or tribute for them
.

Lads and lasses, just a heads up that I've deleted a topic belonging to the model Lizz Mohin. I received a message from her via the BZ Facebook page asking for it to be removed, and decided to comply. Shouldn't be much of a loss though, the thread hasn't been posted in for nigh-on six years and as far as I can tell, the pictures are all deadlinks.
